"Sebuah bagian dari rancangan ulang dari kawasan Pasar Baru, Jakarta Pusat, DKI Jakarta yang dirancang bukan hanya mewadahi dan memfasilitasi sejarah Kota Jakarta yang otentik untuk dinikmati para pengunjungnya, namun juga untuk mendukung kehidupan sehari-hari para penduduk yang hidup di dalamnya. Rancangan ulang ini dilatarbelakangi oleh peran area Pasar Baru yang memiliki peran penting sebagai area perdagangan, kuliner dan area yang sangat bersejarah bagi warga DKI Jakarta. Dengan tersebarnya bangunan bersejarah pada area Pasar Baru maka nilai sejarah area perlu dilestarikan dengan cara yang paling sesuai dengan masa kini, sehingga warga bisa mengingat perjuangan serta sejarah Kota Jakarta. Selain sejarah, area Pasar Baru memiliki potensi yang besar dalam aspek perekonomian dan budaya sehingga revitalisasi juga berfokuskan pada aspek perekonomian dan kebudayaan kota. Revitalisasi Pasar Baru dilakukan dengan membagi area tersebut menjadi 4 distrik, dimana distrik-disttrik tersebutini mempunyai fokusannya masing-masing. Bangunan Recherche dibangun pada Distrik 2, yang dimana mempunyai orientasi pada pusat transit harmoni. Bangunan Recherche mempunyai peran dalam distrik sebagai pusat perbelanjaan yang berbasis keberlanjutan dan bersumber dari lokal, sehingga warga yang hidup pada area Pasar Baru dapat merintis kehidupan yang berarahkan keberlanjutan.

A part of the redesign of the Pasar Baru area, Central Jakarta, DKI Jakarta which is designed not only to accommodate and facilitate the authentic history of the City of Jakarta for visitors to enjoy, but also to support the daily lives of the residents who live in it. This redesign is motivated by the role of the Pasar Baru area which has an important role as a trade, culinary and historical area for the residents of DKI Jakarta. With the spread of historic buildings in the Pasar Baru area, the historical value of the area needs to be preserved in a way that is most appropriate to the present, so that residents can remember the struggles and history of the City of Jakarta. In addition to history, the Pasar Baru area has great potential in terms of economy and culture, so the revitalization will also focus on the economic and cultural aspects of the city. The revitalization of Pasar Baru is carried out by dividing the area into 4 districts, where these districts have their respective focuses. The Recherche building is built in District 2, which is oriented towards the transit center of harmony. The Recherche building has a role in the district as a shopping center based on sustainability and locally sourced, so that residents living in the Pasar Baru area can start a life that is oriented towards sustainability."

"Munculnya Taman Bacaan Masyarakat diharapkan mampu mengubah persepsi masyarakat terhadap ruang baca. Ruang baca pada pusat perbelanjaan (mal) bisa menjadi daya tarik tersendiri bagi pengunjung mal. Taman bacaan di mal harus bisa bersaing dengan ritel-ritel dalam mal. Penataan ruang TBM@Mal harus dirancang dengan baik, sehingga tidak kalah dengan penataan ruang pada ritel lain dalam mal. Penataan ruang selain untuk menambah daya tarik harus memperhatikan kualitas ruang baca agar tercipta kenyamanan pengunjung. Kehadiran TBM@Mal kurang mendapat perhatian dari masyarakat. Namun TBM@Mal sudah cukup baik dalam menciptakan ruang baca yang baik. Dalam penulisan ini, penulis mencoba menganalisis kaitan antara konteks mal, elemen interior serta kualitas ruang pada taman bacaan di pusat perbelanjaan.

The emergence of Taman Bacaan Masyarakat are expected to change the public perception of the reading room. Reading room at the shopping center (mall) could be the main attraction for mall visitors. Taman Bacaan at the mall should be able to compete with retailers in the mall. Spatial planning of TBM@Mal should be well designed, so as not to lose the arrangement of space to other retailers in the mall. Spatial planning in addition to add to the appeal must pay attention to the quality of the reading room in order to create the comfort of visitors. The presence of TBM @ Mal less attention from the public. However TBM @ Mal has been good enough in creating a good reading room. In this paper, the authors tried to analyze the link between the context of the mall, the interior and the quality of the reading room at the shopping center."

"Desain industri merupakan terjemahan dari industrial design yang dalam bahasa sehari-hari istilah "desain" dimaknai sebagai rancang bangun atau membuat suatu pola rancangan yang akan diwujudkan dalam bentuk yang sebenarnya. Berdasarkan Undang-undang No.31 tahun 2000 tentang desain industri timbulnya hak desain industri didasarkan pada permohonan pendaftaran, yaitu setelah suatu permohonan desain industri yang diajukan kepada lembaga Direktorat Jenderal Hak Kekayaan tntelektual sebagai instansi yang berwenang untuk melaksanakan pendaftaran memenuhi kelengkapan administratif dan persyaratan substantif.Pendaftaran Desain industri bertujuan untuk memberikan perlindungan terhadap desain industri yang ada dengan menggunakan konsep kebaruan. Sebagaimana diatur dalam Pasal 2 ayat (2) Undang-undang No.31 tahun 2000 tentang desain industri. Namun dalam hal ini yang perlu diperhatikan oleh pemerintah bahwa perlu adanya peraturan yang mengatur lebih lanjut terkait dengan aturan-aturan yang ada seperti penentuan mengenai lisensi, royalti, dan hal-hal lain yang masih belum jelas diatur.Belum adanya aturan yang menjadi pedoman untuk pemeriksaan substantif terkait hal kebaruan merupakan menjadi mesalah lain dalam desain industri karena tidak jelas cara penentuannya. Disamping itu tidak ada kejelasan dalam konsep desain industri suatu kebaruan apakah mencakup secara internasional atau hanya cukup secara regional saja."

"ABSTRAKSebelum disahkan Undang-undang Desain Industri banyak ciptaan yang didaftarkan pada Direktorat Hak Cipta adalah ciptaan yang sebenarnya digolongkan sebagai desain industri. Keadaan tersebut dimanfaatkan oleh pihak ketiga dengan mendaftarkan ciptaan yang sudah terdaftar berdasarkan ketentuan desain industri kemudian ciptaan tersebut didaftarkan sebagai suatu desain produk berdasarkan ketentuan Desain Industri.Tesis ini berisi analisis mengenai kemungkinan adanya pendaftaran atas suatu objek karya cipta berdasarkan ketentuan Hak Cipta dan Desain Industri serta upaya hukum apa yang dapat dilakukan oleh pencipta terhadap pihak ketiga yang telah mendaftarkan ciptaannya yang sudah terdaftar sebagai ciptaan berdasarkan ketentuan Hak Cipta, kemudian didaftarkan sebagai desain produk berdasarkan ketentuan Desain Industri. Penelitian dalam tesis ini bersifat deskriptif analistis dengan menggunakan metode penelitian kepustakaan.Berdasarkan analisis tersebut diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa diperlukan adanya sosialisasi kepada masyarakat luas mengenai peraturan Hak Cipta dan Desain Industri yang berlaku serta persamaan persepsi terhadap kedua peraturan tersebut, sehingga diperoleh suatu pemahaman yang kongkrit serta upaya hukum yang dapat dilakukan oleh para pihak menurut ketentuan yang berlaku. Lebih daripada itu diperlukan pula para pelaksana hukum yang mengerti akan efektifitas pelaksanaan suatu undang-undang sehingga tidak menimbulkan terlalu banyak birokrasi dan distorsi atas peraturan yang ada.

ABSTRACTPrior to the promulgation of Industrial Design Laws, Directorate General of Intellectual Property (Dirjen HaKi) often accepted the application for the registration of copy rights towards the creations which should be considered as industrial design. This situation had triggered third party to take advantage by registering a creation which previously had been registered under the laws of Copy Rights to be registered as a design product under Industrial Design's laws.This thesis consists of the analysis with respect to (i) the possibility of a registration toward a creation pursuant to the regulation of Copy Rights and Industrial Design (ii) legal proceedings to be taken by a creator who already registered its creation under the regulation of Copy Rights towards third party who registered the same creation as design product under the regulation of Industrial Design. This Thesis is prepared based on a descriptive research and using the method of literature study.This analysis concludes that a socialization on the regulations of Copy Rights and Industrial Design must be properly done therefore the same perception and clear understanding on the respective regulation including the legal proceedings to be taken by the parties, could be reached. Furthermore, it is also important that the law executors must fully understand about the effectiveness of law enforcement therefore the distortion of the laws could be avoided."

"In the design process has a relationship with activity to develop project cost estimate, cause is the final design period includes that activity a whole design sistematicaly to take drawings and spesification, that be major infonnation data to develop project cost estimate. However, in reality many problems through in the design period is badly preparing in the drawings and spesitication process, it because badly knowledge and experience designer in the construction process and constmction method. So that importance of construction opinion by involving knowledge and experience construction project in the design period can be increasing of the construction project and effectivity construction cost.The purpose of this research is to Find owner estimate quality by increasing final design involving the knowledge and experience construction project in the design process. The research shows that factors can beinfluence with the owner estimate quality is to take details of drawing as an infomation project quantity and preparing bid contract that includes with project scope."

"Penulisan ini membahas mengenai pentingnya unsur originalitas sebagai salah satu penentu dalam pemberian perlindungan desain industri. Persyaratan perlindungan desain industri di Indonesia hanya didasarkan pada persyaratan kebaruan, sedangkan pengaturan di dalam TRIPs menyatakan persyaratan perlindungan adalah baru (new) atau orisinal. Unsur orisinalitas ini merupakan salah satu unsur yang penting dalam perlindungan desain industri karena melihat keaslian dari suatu desain. Ketiadaan unsur orisinalitas dalam perlindungan desain industri di Indonesia mengakibatkan desain yang bukan desain asli mendapatkan perlindungan desain industri di Indonesia. Dalam penelitian ini, Penulis menggunakan metode penelitian normatif dengan menganalisis bahan kepustakaan untuk menganalisa pentingnya unsur orisinalitas ini.

AbstractThe focus of this study is talk about the importance of originality element as one of the determinant to give industrial design protection. The requirement for industrial design protection in Indonesia is just based on novelty requirement, while TRIPs declare that the requirement for its protection is new or original. The originality element is one of the important element in industrial design protection, because it sees the freshness of a design. The consequence for originality element absence in industrial design protection in Indonesia is the unoriginal design can get industrial design protection. The method of this thesis is based on literature study with normative-juridical analysis in order to analyze the importance of originality element."

"Novelty test becomes legal principle that needs attention in protection of industrial design. Only the newest design gets the rights. In fact, although industrial design has been registered on Directorate General of Intelectual Property Rights, it often happens that a claim relates to the legal test of novelty on industrial design. There are no clear parameters of novelty on Industrial Design in the Act Number 30 Year 2000. The following article examines the legal test of novelty on industrial design. Therefor, the question what is the legal test of novelty on industrial design? Unclear parameter about novelty arising difficulties in deciding the new industrial design."
