"Maraknya pemberitaan di sejumlah stasiun televisi terkait COVID-19 di sepanjang periode 1-18 Maret 2020 di Indonesia berkontribusi kepada kenaikan jumlah penonton dalam program berita. Jumlah penonton televisi terhadap program berita naik signifikan sebesar 25%, terutama pada penonton kelas atas. Berdasarkan survei yang dilakukan Katadata Insight Center (KIC) dan bekerja sama dengan Kementerian Komunikasi dan Informatika (Kominfo), menyatakan televisi menjadi sumber utama dan terpercaya masyarakat Indonesia guna mendapatkan informasi. Data yang sama menunjukkan bahwa TV One adalah stasiun televisi yang banyak disaksikan masyarakat. Bulan Maret menjadi masa-masa kritis media dalam memulai bekerja memberitakan COVID-19. Dalam pelaksanaannya, TV One ditemukan melakukan beberapa pelanggaran kode etik dan prinsip Jurnalistik. Studi ini menyajikan fakta dan analisis bagaimana praktik jurnalistik terkait pemberitaan COVID-19 di Indonesia oleh TV One yang melanggar prinsip dan kode etik jurnalistik.

The rise of news on a number of television stations related to COVID-19 throughout the period 1-18 March 2020 in Indonesia contributed to increased viewing in program news. Television viewing of programnews increased significantly by 25%, especially among high-class viewers. Based on a survey conducted by the Katadata Insight Center (KIC) and in collaboration with the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology (Kominfo), television is the main and trusted source for Indonesians to obtain information. The same data shows that TV One is a television station that is widely watched by the public. March is a critical time for the media to start working on reporting COVID-19. In its implementation, TV One was found to have committed several infractions of journalistic principles and code of ethics. This study presents facts and analysis of how journalistic practices related to reporting on COVID-19 in Indonesia by TV One which violates the journalistic principles and code of ethics."

"Penelitian ini membahas tentang Pelanggaran Kode Etik Jurnalistik pada berita kekerasan seksual terhadap perempuan di ‘Lampu Hijau’ selama bulan November 2012 – April 2013. Konsep yang digunakan adalah media massa, kode etik jurnalistik, pemberitaan kekerasan seksual. Pendekatan penelitian ini yaitu kuantitatif dengan metode analisis isi. Namun, sebagai penunjang data digunakan juga wawancara dengan pihak – pihak terkait. Koran Lampu Hijau terkenal dengan pemberitaan kejahatan terutama kejahatan seksual. Dalam menayangkan berita semacam ini, diperlukan etika, sebuah pedoman moral bagi jurnalis dalam kegiatan produksi berita. Penelitian ini menggunakan indikator berita berimbang dan tidak menghakimi, isi pemberitaan, identitas korban kekerasan seksual, hak melindungi narasumber dan berita tidak prasangka dan diskriminasi. Dari hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa berita kekerasan seksual terhadap perempuan di “Lampu Hijau’ masih terdapat pelanggaran Kode Etik Jurnalistik.

This study discusses the Violation of Journalistic Ethics on news of sexual violence against women in the “Lampu Hijau” during November 2012-April 2013. The concept used is the mass media, journalistic ethics, news of sexual violence. This research uses quantitative approach with a content analysis method. However, supporting interviews of related stakeholders are used to support the analysis. “Lampu Hijau” is a newspaper known for its crime reports, especially sex crimes. Ethics are required in presenting this kind of news since a moral guideline for journalists in news production. The indicators of this study are balanced and non-judgmental news, news content, identity of victims of sexual violence, the right to protect resources and the non-prejudice and discrimination news. The results showed that the news of sexual violence against women in "Lampu Hijau" is still violating the Journalistic Ethics."

Kode Etik Filantropi Media Massa adalah produk baru yang dihasilkan atas
insiatif pengelola filantropi media massa di Indonesia pada 11 Januari 2013.
Tujuannya untuk menjaga transparansi dan akuntabilitas pengelolaan dana publik
dan juga sebagai dinding api fungsi jurnalistik dan fungsi filantropi di media
massa. Tesis ini meneliti bagaimana pelaksanaan Kode Etik Filantropi Media
Massa di dua media televisi yang melakukan kegiatan filantropi sebagai bagian
dari tanggungjawab sosial media massa. Teori Social Responsiblities Media
Massa dan Corporate Philantrophy menjadi teori yang peneliti gunakan dalam
menelaah mengenai Kode Etik Filantropi Media Massa ini. Hasil penelitiannya,
menunjukkan pelaksanaan prinsip-prinsip kode etik filantropi media massa belum
efektif, karena belum adanya konsepsi yang sama mengenai tanggungjawab sosial
dan filantropi media massa.

"ABSTRAK
Produk jurnalistik sudah seharusnya menaati kaidah dan Kode Etik Jurnalisme yang berlaku. Akan tetapi, pada praktiknya, jurnalisme infotainment seringkali melanggar aturan ini sehingga terjadi perdebatan di kalangan masyarakat dan akademisi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk kadar jurnalistik pada program televisi jurnalisme infotainment, Insert dan Entertainment News. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode analisis konten pada kedua tayangan dalam jangka waktu satu minggu. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat kadar jurnalistik dan kualitas pengerjaan yang berbeda pada kedua program jurnalistik ini.

ABSTRACT
Journalistic product should follow journalism principal and code of ethics in its works. However, on its practice, infotainment journalism often violates the rules, so that it become a controversial and debatable issue among audience and scholars. The research objective is to determine journalistic value on two infotainment journalism television program such as Insert and Entertainment News. Content analysis method is used to determine journalistic value in those two programs in one week duration. The research finds that there are different set of journalism value and standards among those programs."

"Kebebasan pers pasca-reformasi di Indonesia, yang ditandai dengan terbitnya Undang-Undang No. 40 tahun 1999 tentang Pers, menimbulkan sejumlah ekses negatif. Kalangan pers yang tidak mengimbangi kebebasan tersebut dengan penerapan prinsip dan kode etik jurnalistik, justru menghasilkan produk jurnalisme yang melenceng jauh dari tujuan awalnya; menyampaikan kebenaran pada publik. Salah satunya adalah penyajian informasi dengan sudut pandang mistis yang kemudian menimbulkan anggapan dan stigma melenceng tentang objek-objek pemberitaan tersebut di masyarakat. Penyajian berita seperti ini, selain menyimpang dari tujuan jurnalisme, juga mencederai fungsi pers sebagai lembaga sosial atau kemasyarakatan. Jurnalisme, melalui informasi yang ia sajikan, mestinya dapat membantu publik untuk memahami apa yang terjadi sesuai dengan fakta yang sebenarnya, sehingga publik dapat menjadikannya sebagai bahan pertimbangan untuk mengambil keputusan. Tulisan ini akan membahas secara garis besar objek-objek pemberitaan yang menjadi komoditas mistifikasi berita, psinsip-prinsip jurnalisme apa saja yang diabaikan, dan kode etik mana saja yang dilanggar.

The Freedom of the press after reformation in Indonesia, signed by issuing the Acts of The Press No. 40 in 1999, has created some negative impacts. The press who do not pay attention to keep the balance between the freedom and the application of the elements of journalism and ignore the ethics of the institution, in fact, has been producing some products which are not in line with the basic purpose of journalism; delivering the truth to the public. One of the phenomena is the delivery of information using mystical angle which leads to create the wrong stigma on the objects informed. This kind of ‘news,’ not only goes vice versa with the purpose of journalism, but it breaks the function of the press as the social institution as well. Journalism, through the information it delivers, should have helped the people to understand what happens based on the factual truth, so that they could have made it as the part of their consideration in making desicions. This essay will analize the objects of the press which have became the comodities of news mystification, what elements of journalism have been ignored, and which ethics has been broken by this kind of ‘journalism,’ (if it can be called so).

The content of this black propaganda elements emerged during the campaign period in talkshow and news programs in TV One and Metro TV. This study reveal that media have a political alignments content with black propaganda with the aim of changing the views and public opinion which lead to the development of a positive image by using all means. This study will present the facts of black propaganda throughout the 2014 presidential election campaign conducted by national television. This paper will present the analysis of media content through the criteria and elements that indicate a content that is considered to contain the black propaganda.;The author will examine the content of black propaganda by media which support Prabowo-Hatta Rajasa and Joko Widodo-Muhammad Jusuf Kalla in the election of the president and vice president in 2014. Profesi sendiri berpedoman pada SOP (standar operasional prosedur) yang terdiri dari Job Description dan Job Analys, Standarisasi keberhasilan pelaksanaan tugas, Sistem penilaian kinerja, Sistem Reward + Punishment, Etika Kinerja (Do+don’t)Penelitian formulasi standar penegakan kode etik profesi Polri dan Komisi Kode Etik Polri ini mempergunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif, agar peneliti dapat mendeskripsikan untuk mengkomunikasikan hasil penelitian ini dengan tahapan mencari sumber data, mengumpulkan data dan menganalisis data yang telah didapatmasih terdapat kendala-kendala yang dialami oleh Akreditor untuk menegakkan Kode Etik yang sangat dibutuhkan sebagai bentuk pertanggungjawaban pada saat persidangan Komisi Kode Etik, baik pada penanganan barang bukti yang berkaitan dengan pelanggaran Kode Etik, Evaluasi Jabatan terhadap personil yang sedang melaksanakan pemeriksaan pelanggaran Kode Etik hingga pelaksanaan putusan sidang Komisi Kode Etikpenulis menyarankan untuk melakukan pembaruan atau modifikasi terhadap penegakan Kode Etik Profesi dan Komisi Kode Etik Polri sehinggadapat menjadi Formulasi Standar yang lebih baik lagi dan agar tidak adanya pertentangan dalam mengambil Langkah hukum untuk menegakkan Kode Etik Profesi dan menyarankan agar melakukan pengawasan terhadap anggota Polri yang menjalani sanksi Kode Etik baik secara langsung maupun secara administrasi.

Propam itself has 3 important points in enforcing the Code of Ethics, namely Discipline, Profession and Crime. Police discipline is a personal attitude and has no outward effect. The profession itself is guided by SOP (standard operating procedures) which consist of Job Description and Job Analysis, Standardization of successful implementation of tasks, Performance appraisal system, Reward + Punishment System, Performance Ethics (Do + don't) Research on the formulation of standards for enforcing the National Police's professional code of ethics and the National Police Code of Ethics Commission uses qualitative research, so that researchers can describe and communicate the results of this research through the stages of searching for data sources, collecting data and analyzing the data that has been obtained. There are still obstacles experienced by Accreditors in enforcing the Code of Ethics which is really needed as a forms of accountability during Code of Ethics Commission hearings, both in handling evidence related to violations of the Code of Ethics, Position Evaluation of personnel who are carrying out investigations for violations of the Code of Ethics and implementation of the Code of Ethics Commission hearing decisions. The author suggests updating or modifying the enforcement of the Professional Code of Ethics and the National Police Code of Ethics Commission so that it can formulate better standards and so that there are no conflicts in taking legal steps to enforce the Professional Code of Ethics and recommend that they carry out supervision of members of the Indonesian National Police who undergo sanctions from the Code of Ethics both directly and administratively."
