"Praktik kefarmasian harus dapat diimplementasikan oleh seorang apoteker. Untuk dapat menjadi seorang apoteker yang kompeten, calon apoteker harus memiliki wawasan dan pemahaman yang baik terkait pekerjaan kefarmasian yang nantinya akan dilaksanakan. Wawasan dan pemahaman tersebut didapatkan dengan adanya pembelajaran secara teoritis dan praktis. Demi terwujudnya seorang apoteker yang profesional dalam melakukan pekerjaan kefarmasian, salah satu hal yang penting untuk dilakukan adalah berpartisipasi secara langsung dalam melakukan pelayanan dan pekerjaan kefarmasian pada institusi kefarmasian, seperti apotek, puskesmas, dan industri farmasi. Apotek, puskesmas, dan industri farmasi dapat menjadi wadah bagi seorang calon apoteker untuk dapat mengasah keterampilan kefarmasiaannya sehingga dapat diterapkan dalam dunia kerja nanti. Untuk itu, mahasiswa melakukan Praktik Kerja Profesi Apoteker di Apotek Kimia Farma, Puskesmas Kecamatan Pancoran dan PT CKD OTTO Pharmaceuticals. Dengan adanya kegiatan PKPA ini, mahasiswa mampu menambah wawasan, keterampilan, dan ilmu pengetahuan dalam melakukan praktik dan pekerjaan kefarmasian secara langsung di apotek.

Pharmaceutical practices must be implemented by a pharmacist. In order to become a competent pharmacist, prospective pharmacists must have good insight and understanding of the pharmacy practice to be carried out. These insight and understandings are obtained through theoretical and practical learning. For the sake of realizing a professional pharmacist in doing pharmacy practice, one of the important things to do is directly in carrying out work and pharmaceutical practice in the pharmaceutical institutions, such as the pharmacies, public health center, and pharmaceutical industry. The pharmacies, public health center, and pharmaceutical industry can be a place for prospective pharmacists to be able to hone their pharmacy skills so that they can be applied in the current world of work. For that, students do Internship at Apotek Kimia Farma, Pancoran public health center, and PT CKD OTTO Pharmaceuticals. With this internship, students are able to build insights, skills, and knowledge in pharmaceutical practice directly in pharmaceucitcal intitutions."

Dikarenakan kompleksnya bidang tersebut, seorang apoteker dituntut untuk berpartisipasi langsung dalam melakukan praktek kefarmasian. Salah satu bentuk partisipasi tersebut adalah dilakukan dengan diadakannya Praktek Kerja Profesi Apoteker (PKPA) yang dijalani oleh calon apoteker sebagai bekal dan pengalaman untuk memahami peran apoteker dan meningkatkan kompetensi sebelum memasuki dunia profesional. Due to the complexity of the field, a pharmacist is required to participate directly in the practice of pharmacy. One form of participation is carried out by holding the Pharmacist Professional Work Practice (PKPA) which is carried out by prospective pharmacists as a provision and experience to understand the role of pharmacists and to improve competence before entering the professional world. Kebayoran Baru Public Health Center, Roxy Pondok Labu Pharmacy, and PT CKD OTTO Pharmaceuticals are one of the agencies that collaborate with the Pharmacist Professional Study Program, Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Indonesia so that prospective pharmacists can run PKPA in the period January – May 2022. Through the activities in public health center, pharmacy, pharmaceutical and pharmaceutical industry, prospective pharmacists are expected to be able to gain appropriate insight, knowledge, skills, and experience to perform pharmacy practice."

"Praktik kerja profesi di Apotek Kimia Farma No. 49 Pondok Bambu periode bulan Januari tahun 2018 bertujuan untuk memahami tugas dan tanggung jawab apoteker dalam pengelolaan apotek, serta melakukan praktik pelayanan kefarmasian sesuai dengan ketentuan perundang-undangan dan etika yang berlaku, memiliki wawasan, pengetahuan, keterampilan dan pengalaman praktis untuk melakukan praktik kefarmasian di apotek, memiliki gambaran nyata tentang permasalahan praktik kefarmasian serta mempelajari strategi dan kegiatan-kegiatan yang dapat dilakukan dalam rangka pengembangan praktik kefarmasian. Praktik kerja profesi ini dilaksanakan selama empat minggu dengan tugas khusus yaitu ldquo;Analisis Kajian Resep Pasien Hipertensi rdquo;. Tujuan dari tugas khusus ini adalah agar calon apoteker dapat mengetahui penyakit hipertensi serta algoritma pengobatannya, mengetahui kelengkapan persyaratan resep pada pengobatan hipertensi, serta melatih calon apoteker untuk dapat memberikan pelayanan kefarmasian terkait pengobatan hipertensi.

Internship at Kimia Farma 49 Pondok Bambu Pharmacy period January 2018 aims to understand the duties and responsibilities of pharmacists in pharmacy management, as well as to practice pharmaceutical services in accordance with applicable laws and ethics, have the insight, knowledge, skills and practical experience to undertake pharmaceutical practices in pharmacies, can also have the insight of pharmaceutical practice issues and learn strategies and activities that can be undertaken in the course of pharmaceutical practice development. This internship at was conducted for four weeks with special assignment Analysis of Hypertension Patient rsquo;s Prescription . The purpose of this special assignment is that the prospective pharmacist may know the hypertension disease and its treatment algorithm, understand the completeness of the prescribing requirements in the treatment of hypertension, and train the pharmacist to be able to provide pharmaceutical services related to the treatment of hypertension. "

Pharmacist must have competency standards as a requirement to enter the world of work and carry out professional practices. Indonesian Pharmacist competency standards, which consist of ten (10) competency standards, are the abilities expected by pharmacists when they graduate and enter professional work practices. As a provision and experience of prospective pharmacists to be able to understand the role of pharmacists and improve competence, the Internship Program for Pharmacist (PKPA) was carried out at PT Mahakam Beta Farma in the period February - March 2020 and at Apotek Roxy Mangga Besar in the period May - June 2020. During the Internship Program for Pharmacist (PKPA) It is hoped that prospective pharmacists can broaden their horizons, understanding, and experience to do pharmaceutical work in professional work practices."

During PKPA, it is expected that candidate pharmacists can broaden their horizons, understanding, and experience to do pharmaceutical work in a professional work practice."

Hal inilah yang menjadi dasar Program Profesi Apoteker Fakultas Farmasi Universitas Indonesia bekerja sama dengan RSUP dr. Cipto Mangunkusumo (RSCM) dan Apotek Atrika untuk menyelenggarakan Praktik Kerja Profesi Apoteker (PKPA) bagi mahasiswa sebagai calon apoteker pada tahun 2020. During the internship, students are expected to able to understand the roles, duties, and responsibilities of pharmacists in hospitals and pharmacies in accordance with the provisions and ethics of health services and pharmaceutical services."
