"This textbook presents the basics of game theory both on an undergraduate level and on a more advanced mathematical level. It is the second, revised version of the successful 2008 edition. The book covers most topics of interest in game theory, including cooperative game theory. Part I presents introductions to all these topics on a basic yet formally precise level. It includes chapters on repeated games, social choice theory, and selected topics such as bargaining theory, exchange economies, and matching. Part II goes deeper into noncooperative theory and treats the theory of zerosum games, refinements of Nash equilibrium in strategic as well as extensive form games, and evolutionary games. Part III covers basic concepts in the theory of transferable utility games, such as core and balancedness, Shapley value and variations, and nucleolus. Some mathematical tools on duality and convexity are collected in Part IV. Every chapter in the book contains a problem section. Hints, answers and solutions are included."

"Evolutionary Game Theory (EGT) dalam model evolusi virulensi merupakan salah satu aplikasi dari non-cooperative game theory. Model evolusi virulensi dapat dinyatakan dalam bentuk sistem persamaan diferensial biasa. Dalam Evolutionary Game Theory (EGT) terdapat dua konsep, yaitu Evolutionary Stable Strategy dan Replicator Dynamics yang masing-masing berperan dalam mekanisme seleksi dan mekanisme mutasi dalam proses evolusi. Evolutionary Stable Strategy dan Replicator Dynamics dapat digunakan untuk menggambarkan dan memprediksi hasil interaksi antara organisme patogen dan sel inang.

Evolutionary Game Theory (EGT) in the model of evolution of virulence is one application from a non-cooperative game theory. The model of evolution of virulence can be expressed in the form of a system of ordinary differential equations. In Evolutionary Game Theory (EGT) there are two concepts, namely the Evolutionary Stable Strategy and Replicator Dynamics, each of which plays a role in the mechanism of selection and mutation mechanism in the process of evolution. Evolutionary Stable Strategy and Replicator Dynamics can be used to describe and predict the results of interactions between pathogenic organisms and the host cells.

"ABSTRAK
Digital pornografi menyumbang sepertiga dari trafik pertukaran file antar peer di seluruh dunia. Ketika bicara mengenai jaringan berbagi, terjadi perdebatan bahwa pornografi adalah hal yang pertama kita cari disamping buku dan lagu. Sepanjang sepuluh tahun terakhir ini, pemain-pemain baru di pasar jaringan berbagi berlipatganda secara menakjubkan. Ini mengingat bahwa pengunjung mereka tidak dikenakan biaya untuk suatu konten sementara untuk berproduksi tentu saja mereka tetap membutuhkan biaya. Pasar yang bergantung sepenuhnya pada kualitas akan menjadi landasan kita untuk menyelidiki bagaimana dan kapan game-theory dapat memodelkan interaksi antar portal-portal torrent yang bersaing untuk mengakomodasi kebutuhan konsumennya seperti, namun tidak terbatas pada, konten pornografi digital bajakan.
Analisis akan kita mulai dengan game 2 periode dari model duopoli. Adalah residual demand dan switching cost yang amat kecil dari sisi konsumen, yang memungkinkan peralihan ke lebih dari satu layanan portal. Darisini akan ditunjukkan bahwa pemain-pemain baru yang terus bermunculan ternyata dapat terus bertahan meskipun dengan menawarkan kualitas yang rendah. Disaat suatu delik aduan membuat pihak yang berwenang menutup portal tertentu, pemain baru yang berkualitas rendah akan membidik profit maksimumnya dengan menawarkan kualitas monopolinya. Tindakan ini kemudian akan menarik pengunjung. Kita mengusulkan kemajuan teknologi sebagai competitive advantage di antara para pemain baru dan mempelajari seperti apa strategi interaksinya menggunakan Tirole?s animal taxonomy.

ABSTRACT
Digital pornography accounts for an estimated one-third of all peer-sharing traffic worldwide. When it comes to peer-sharing networks, porn is arguably the first thing many of us look beside books and music. The proliferation of entrants on peer-sharing portal over the past 10 years is remarkable, considering the fact that viewers do not pay for the content while the cost of operation is not zero. The market that depends solely on the quality will be used as our foundation to investigate if and how game theory can be a helpful tool to model strategic interaction amongst torrent portals that generate revenue from advertisers and compete to serve consumer needs such as, but not limited to, pirated digital porn.
We begin with two periods game of duopoly model. Due to ?residual demand? and such an extremely low switching cost, some proportion of viewers will sample more than one services. We demonstrate that, in an attempt to enter the market with low quality, new entrants will thrive and survive in the market. When the authority blockade the high-quality Incumbent, this low-quality entrant will aim nothing but maximum profit by providing his monopoly quality, then increasing more traffics as a result. We introduces technological progress as competitive advantage amongst new entrants and study its strategic interaction using Tirole?s animal taxonomy."

Dalam mendalami problematika mengenai kualitas ataupun mutu dalam disiplin ilmu teknik industri, pdiperlukan sebuah metode pembelajaran dengan metode serious simulation games untuk membantu para praktisi dan akademisi yang bergerak dalam bidang manufaktur untuk lebih memahami kondisi aktual dari problem kualitas. Dengan menggunakan konsep serious simulation game, maka perancangan sebuah Quality Board Game merupakan hal yang sangat penting untuk memahami permasalahan dan pentingnya parameter kualitas untuk mencapai keberhasilan dalam sebuah sistem produksi manufaktur.
Dalam Quality Board Game, pemain akan mendalalmi secara aktual masalah-masalah kualitas tersebut dan diharapkan mampu memberikan gambaran aktual dari situasi lapangan sebuah sistem produksi manufaktur. Melalui pendekatan konsep meaning, reality dan play, pemahaman dasar kualitas diharapkan dapat terserap secara optimal sehingga pemain memiliki pemahaman yang utuh terhadap prinsip dasar kualitas pada sistem produksi manufaktur. Proses perancangan Quality Board Game melalui beberapa tahap yaitu setting up the stage, clarifying the game, designing the game, developing the game dan deployment. Pada tahap akhir dilakukan verifikasi dan validasi untuk mengetahui apakah perancangan Quality Board Game sudah sesuai dengan tujuan yang diharapkan.

Learning method usually did by reading text boox or some references and reviewing a study case. In university or training activity, material study define not only with face to face method with lecture or trainer, using text book and references, or study case from the material, but also define by simulations formed as an interactive game that try to simulate real condition of the material study. To study about quality problem in industrial engineering field, it needs a learning method that using serious simulation games method that help users in manufacture to more understand actual condition of quality problems. With Serious Simulation Game concept, designing of Quality Board Game is a very important to understand and how important of quality parameter to reach a successful manufacture production system.
In quality board game, players will concern the actual view of a manufacture production system. In approaching to meaning, reality and play, basic understanding of quality will absorb optimally so players will have complete understanding for quality basic principles in manufacture production system. Design process of Quality Board Game through some step setting up the stage, clarifying the game, designing the game, developing the game and deployment. In the final activity, the game will validate and verify to know its result and its purpose achievability.
