A pharmacist plays an important role in the Pharmaceutical Industry. Pharmacists must fulfill competency standards as requirements for joining the world of work and undergoing professional practice. Indonesian pharmacist competency standards consist of ten competency standards as abilities that are expected by pharmacists to pass and join professional work practices. As a provision and experience, prospective pharmacists can understand the role of pharmacists and improve competence, internship at PT SOHO Industri Pharmasi and Apotek Roxy Cabang Biak during the period February-July 2020. During the internship, it is expected that prospective pharmacists can broaden insight, understanding, and experience to do pharmaceutical work in a professional work practice."

"Praktik Kerja Profesi Apoteker adalah sarana yang memberikan kesempatan bagi para calon apoteker untuk mengalami dan mempelajari tugas-tugas apoteker di setiap macam sektor bisnis yang dipilih secara langsung. Pada setiap tempat PKPA yaitu di PT Kimia Farma Trading & Distribution Jakarta 3, Apotek Jacoebson, dan PT SOHO Industri Pharmasi, calon apoteker melakukan observasi dan kemudian menganalasis kesesuaian keadaan di lapangan dengan literatur-literatur yang bersangkutan dengan topik bahasan yang telah ditentukan. Telah ditemukan bahwa terdapat beberapa ketidaksesuaian kondisi di lepangan dengan literatur, mau dengan justifikasi ataupun tidak. Oleh sebab itu, calon apoteker telah memberi beberapa saran atau solusi yang dapat dilakukan untuk permasalahan-permasalahan yang ditemukan.

The Pharmacist Professional internship is a medium that provides opportunities for prospective pharmacists to directly experience and learn the duties of pharmacists in every type of business sector chosen. At each internship location, namely at PT Kimia Farma Trading & Distribution Jakarta 3, Apotek Jacoebson, and PT SOHO Industri Pharmasi, prospective pharmacists made observations and then analyzed the suitability of the situation in the field with the relevant literature with a predetermined topic of discussion. It has been found that there were some discrepancies between the conditions in the field and the literature, whether justified or not. Therefore, prospective pharmacists have given several suggestions or solutions that can be done for the problems found."

Indonesian pharmacist competency standards consist of ten (10) abilities that are expected to be possessed by pharmacists when they graduate from professional education and enter the professional practical work field. As a provision and experience for prospective pharmacists when they graduate and enter the professional work place, Praktik Kerja Profesi Apoteker (PKPA) was carried out at PT Soho Industri Pharmasi and Apotek Roxy Pamulang during the period February-June 2020. Prospective pharmacists are expected to broaden their horizons and understanding to do pharmaceutical work during PKPA."

"Profesi apoteker memainkan peran yang krusial dalam menyediakan pelayanan kesehatan yang aman dan efektif. Apoteker berkolaborasi dengan tenaga medis dan pasien untuk memastikan penggunaan obat yang tepat, memberikan informasi farmasi yang akurat, serta mengelola proses distribusi dan pengawasan obat. Praktek kerja profesi apoteker merupakan bagian penting dari pendidikan dan pelatihan untuk menjadi seorang apoteker yang berkualitas. Selama praktek kerja, mahasiswa atau calon apoteker berkesempatan untuk menerapkan pengetahuan yang telah dipelajari dalam lingkungan kerja yang nyata. Tujuan dari praktek kerja ini adalah untuk mendapatkan pemahaman praktis tentang peran dan tanggung jawab seorang apoteker dalam memberikan layanan farmasi kepada masyarakat. Praktik dilaksanakan dari bulan Maret hingga Oktober 2022. Praktik kerja dilakukan di PT Kimia Farma Trading & Distribution, Puskesmas Kecamatan Pancoran, RSPAD Gatot Soebroto, Apotek Roxy, dan PT SOHO Industri Pharmasi sebagai gambaran peran apoteker dibidang industri, distribusi maupun pelayanan. Selain belajar secara langsung dari mengamati, calon apoteker juga diberikan kesempatan untuk menganalisis masalah yang ada di masing-masing tempat kerja. Oleh karena itu, laporan praktik kerja ini akan membahas mengenai masalah beserta solusi yang diajukan di tiap tempat praktik kerja.

The pharmacist profession plays a crucial role in providing safe and effective health services. Pharmacists collaborate with medical personnel and patients to ensure proper drug use, provide accurate pharmaceutical information, and manage the drug distribution and control process. Pharmacist professional practice is an important part of education and training to become a qualified pharmacist. During internships, students or prospective pharmacists have the opportunity to apply the knowledge they have learned in a real work environment. The aim of this work practice is to gain a practical understanding of the roles and responsibilities of a pharmacist in providing pharmaceutical services to the public. The practice is held from March to October 2022. The practical work is carried out at PT Kimia Farma Trading & Distribution, Pancoran District Health Center, Gatot Soebroto Army Hospital, Roxy Pharmacy, and PT SOHO Industri Pharmasi as an illustration of the role of pharmacists in industry, distribution and service. Apart from learning directly from observing, prospective pharmacists are also given the opportunity to analyze the problems that exist in each workplace. Therefore, this internship report will discuss the problems and solutions proposed in each workplace.

Apoteker memiliki tugas untuk melakukan pembacaan resep, menyiapkan obat sesuai dengan resep, memastikan bahwa obat yang diberikan sudah sesuai dengan dosis, mencegah adanya interaksi obat, dan memberikan konseling kepada pasien mengenai penggunaan obat yang tepat dan aman. Melalui Praktik Kerja Profesi Apoteker (PKPA), mahasiswa program profesi apoteker diharapkan dapat menerapkan pengetahuan kefarmasian yang dimilikinya ke dalam dunia Kesehatan. Pharmacists are one of the health workers who have an important role to assist patients in getting treatment according to their condition. Pharmacists have the duty to read prescriptions, prepare drugs according to prescriptions, ensure that the drugs given are in accordance with the dose, prevent drug interactions, and provide counselling to patients regarding the proper and safe use of drugs. Through the Pharmacist Professional Work Practice (PKPA), students of the pharmacist profession program are expected to be able to apply their pharmaceutical knowledge to the world of Health. Prospective pharmacists are expected to have knowledge, insight, and skills that are useful for improving the quality of life of patients. On this occasion, PKPA was conducted at PT. Kimia Farma Trading & Distribution – Jakarta 3, Roxy Poltangam Pharmacy, and PT. SOHO Pharmaceutical Industry."

"Apoteker merupakan sarjana farmasi yang telah selesai menempuh pendidikan profesi dan telah mengucapkan sumpah apoteker sehingga memiliki keahlian dan kewenangan di bidang kefarmasian baik di apotek, rumah sakit, industri, pendidikan, maupun bidang kefarmasian lainnya. Salah satu syarat memperoleh gelar apoteker adalah kewajiban untuk menjalani praktik kerja profesi agar calon apoteker dapat memahami peran apoteker di dunia professional. Praktik Kerja Profesi Apoteker dilaksanakan di Apotek Roxy Galaxy pada periode bulan Januari-Februari 2021, PT. Kimia Farma Trading and Distribution Bekasi pada periode bulan Februari 2021 dan PT. Paragon Technology and Innovation in the period March-June 2021. After undergoing professional practice at pharmacy, distributor and industry, prospective pharmacists are expected to understand the roles and responsibilities of pharmacists, especially in the scope of practice and pharmaceutical work."

The quality of drug products not only demonstrated through a series of tests, but also to be built in every manufacturing process as stipulated in the Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP). Pharmacists as key personnel in the implementation of GMP is required to have the insight, knowledge, and practical experience. Apothecary Intership at PT. SOHO Industri Pharmasi month period January February 2017 in order to prepare a reliable pharmacists with practical experience and a deeper understanding of the duties and functions of pharmacists in the pharmaceutical industry."

"Praktik kerja profesi Apoteker di PT Landson Pertiwi Agung Periode Bulan Juli - Agustus Tahun 2018 bertujuan untuk mengetahui tugas dan tanggung jawab apoteker di industri farmasi dan memahami penerapan Cara Pembuatan Obat yang Baik (CPOB) di Industi Farmasi. Selain itu, calon apoteker juga dapat memiliki gambaran nyata tentang permasalahan pekerjaan kefarmasian di industri farmasi, memiliki wawasan, pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan pengalaman praktis untuk melakukan pekerjaan kefarmasian di industri farmasi. Tugas khusus yang diberikan yaitu berjudul “Pembuatan Dokumen Pengkajian Mutu Produk Tablet Tahun 2017”. Tujuan dari pelaksanaan tugas khusus di PT Landson Pertiwi Agung adalah agar calon apoteker memahami pengkajian mutu dan penilaian produk di industri farmasi, khususnya di PT Landson Pertiwi Agung dan mengetahui mutu suatu produk pada tahun tersebut dan kesesuaianya dengan CPOB
