"This book brings together concepts from the building, environmental, behavioural and health sciences to provide an interdisciplinary understanding of office and workplace design. Today, with changes in the world of work and the relentless surge in technology, offices have emerged as the repositories of organizational symbolism, denoted by the spatial design of offices, physical settings and the built environment (architecture, urban locale). Drawing on Euclidian geometry that quantifies space as the distance between two or more points, a body of knowledge on office buildings, the concept of office and office space, and the interrelationships of spatial and behavioural attributes in office design are elucidated. Building and office work-related illnesses, namely sick building syndrome and ailments arising from the indoor environment, and the menace of musculoskeletal disorders are the alarming manifestations that critically affect employee satisfaction, morale and work outcomes. With a focus on office ergonomics, the book brings the discussion on the fundamentals of work design, with emphasis on computer workstation users. "Penelitian cross sectional ini dilakukan terhadap kepemimpinan keselamatan, penilaian keselamatan iklim dan perilaku keselamatan yang diadakan di PT.X 2016. Deskripsi variabel ini diperlukan sebagai pengambilan keputusan dasar untuk mengembangkan implementasi kesehatan dan keselamatan kerja yang sangat baik di perusahaan ini. Ada 813 item dalam kuesioner yang telah diisi oleh 87 responden yang mengisi posisi pelaksana dengan durasi kerja minimal 6 bulan. Data yang diperoleh diolah untuk mendapatkan nilai rata-rata kepemimpinan keselamatan, keselamatan iklim dan perilaku keselamatan berdasarkan persepsi responden. Berdasarkan penilaian kepemimpinan keselamatan pada persepsi responden terhadap kegiatan sehari-hari pemimpin mereka yang terdiri dari keselamatan peduli, pembinaan keselamatan, pengendalian keamanan , memimpin dengan contoh dan pembuatan keputusan partisipatif, variabel ini cocok untuk kategori baik dengan rata-rata 76,34. Iklim keselamatan yang terdiri dari prioritas keselamatan manajemen, komitmen dan kompetensi, komunikasi keselamatan, pembelajaran dan kepercayaan dalam kompetensi keselamatan pekerja, komitmen keselamatan pekerja, prioritas keselamatan pekerja dan risiko tidak diterima, lingkungan organisasi dan tekanan kerja sesuai kategori baik dengan 76,34 . Selain itu, perilaku keselamatan juga dikategorikan sebagai baik dengan 75,62 yang terdiri dari 2 indikator kepatuhan keselamatan dan partisipasi keselamatan.

This cross sectional research conduct of safety leadership, safety climate and safety behavior assessment which held in PT.X 2016. Description of these variable are needed as decision making elementary to develop excellentoccupational health and safety implementation in this company. There are 813 item in the questionnaire which has been filled by 87 respondent that fill pelaksana position with 6 months minimum of work duration. Obtained datas were processesed to get mean value of safety leadership, safety climate and safety behavior based on respondent perception.Based on the assessment of safety leadership on respondent's perception to their leader daily activities which consist of safety caring, safety coaching, safety controlling, leading by example and participative decicion making, this variable suit to good category with mean 76,34. Safety climate which consist of management safety priority, commitment and competence, safety communication, learning and trust in co worker safety competence, workers safety commitment, workers safety priority and risk non acceptance, organizational environment and work pressure suit to good category with 76,34 . In addition, safety behavior is also categorized as good with 75,62 which consist of 2 indicators safety compliance and safety participation."

"Budaya keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja merupakan jalan atau cara memasyarakatkan keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja di perusahaan. Budaya keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja meliputi banyak aspek mulai dari atribut yang yang tidak nyata yang dimiliki karyawan sampai kepada yang bersifat artifak yang bisa terlihat nyata di lingkungan perusahaan. Penelitian itu bertujuan untuk menggali dan menganalisis fenomena-fenomena yang terjadi di perusahaan yang semula memiliki kesadaran terhadap keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja yang rendah serta angka kecelakaan fatal yang tinggi dimana kemudian mengalami perubahan yang bermakna dan memperlihatan pertumbuhan budaya keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja yang poistif. Penelitian ini menerapkan Explanatory Sequential Mix-Method. Hasil analisis penelitisan menunjukkan kesadaran keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja yang rendah dapat dipicu dengan pendekatan paksa oleh lembaga yang berwenang dan menghasilkan praktek manajemen sitem, manajemen risiko serta praktek kepemimpinan yang lebih baik. Kesimpulannya adalah: pada perusahaan dimana kesadaran terhadap keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja sangat rendah maka pendekatan paksa perlu dan dapat diandalkan untuk memicu peningkatan budaya serta praktek manajemen K3 serta menurunkan kecelakaan fatal yang bermakna.

The culture of occupational safety and health is a way to promote occupational safety and health in the company. The culture of occupational safety and health includes many aspects, from intangible attributes possessed by employees to tangible artifacts visible in the company environment. This research aims to explore and analyze phenomena occurring in companies that initially had low awareness of occupational safety and health and high rates of fatal accidents, which then experienced significant changes and showed growth in a positive safety and health culture. This research applies the Explanatory Sequential Mix-Method. The analysis results indicate that low awareness of occupational safety and health can be triggered by a forced approach by authorized institutions, resulting in better management system practices, risk management, and leadership practices. The conclusion is: in companies where awareness of occupational safety and health is very low, a forced approach is necessary and reliable to trigger the improvement of the culture and management practices of occupational safety and health and to significantly reduce fatal accidents."

"Berdasarkan Undang-Undang No 14 Tahun 2005 dalam melaksanakan tugas keprofesionalan, dosen, serta tenaga pendidikan berhak memperoleh rasa aman dan jaminan keselamatan. Pemerintah, pemerintah daerah, masyarakat, organisasi profesi, dan/atau satuan pendidikan wajib memberikan perlindungan terhadap dosen dalam pelaksanaan tugas. Perlindungan tersebut diantaranya adalah perlindungan keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja yang mencakup perlindungan terhadap risiko gangguan keamanan kerja, kecelakaan kerja, kebakaran pada waktu kerja, bencana alam, kesehatan lingkungan kerja, dan/atau risiko lain.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi Keselamatan, Kesehatan Kerja, dan Lingkungan (K3L) di Universitas Indonesia dan National University of Singapore berdasarkan ISO 45001:2018. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif dengan metode studi komparatif semi kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional.
Hasil penelitian menunjukan adanya perbandingan antara Universitas Indonesia dan National University of Singapore. Universitas Indonesia dan National University of Singapore telah memenuhi persyaratan ISO 45001, terdapat 3 elemen yang memiliki perolehan skor tidak terpenuhi, sedangkan elemen lainnya memperoleh skor penilaian terpenuhi dan melebihi ekspektasi.

Based on Law Number 14 of 2015, while implementing professional responsibility, lecturer and teacher have rights to obtain security and safety. Government, local government, community, professional organization, and/or educational institution have to give safety to lecturer while on duty. The security is occupational health and safety security. The security of occupational health and safety includes the security of occupational safety disruption, working incident, working hours fire hazard, natural disaster, occupational health and environment, and/or the other risk.
The aim of this research is analysis of occupational health and safety implementation in Universitas Indonesia and National University of Singapore against ISO 45001. This study is a descriptive research with semi quantitative and qualitative method. The approach of the study is cross sectional.
The result of this research is a comparative implementation on occupational safety, health and the environment based on ISO 45001 in University of Indonesia, and National University of Singapore. Universitas Indonesia and National University of Singapore have met ISO 45001:2018 requirements and there are 3 elements that have assessment scores review, while other elemets that have meet and exceed.

"Risiko Keselamatan Kesehatan Kerja dan Lingkungan (K3L) merupakan hal penting yang perlu dikendalikan, khususnya pada laboratorium. Kecelakaan kerja harus diminimalisir agar aktivitas laboratorium dapat terus dilaksanakan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah dapat mengidentifikasi karakteristik bahan baku yang digunakan di Laboratorium TPL FTUI dan menganalisis potensi bahaya dan risiko berdasarkan jenis aspek risiko atau jenis kegiatan yang dilakukan di Laboratorium TPL FTUI. Berdasarkan Peraturan Menteri Nomor 5 Tahun 2018 tentang Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja, evaluasi risiko lingkungan kerja dapat ditinjau dari berbagai aspek, yaitu aspek fisika, kimia, biologi, ergonomi dan psikologi. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis pendekatan kuantitatif dan kualitatif dengan metode sampling, observasi langsung, wawancara, dan survei kuisioner.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aspek fisika memperoleh angka 52,8 dB yang masih memenuhi standar untuk faktor kebisingan, dan 38,2 lux yang tidak memenuhi standar faktor pencahayaan. Untuk aspek biologi ditinjau masih aman dalam hal kualitas udara, namun tidak untuk faktor kelembaban. Pada aspek kimia dapat diketahui bahwa seluruh bahan kimia yang digunakan memiliki karakteristik bahaya dengan angka risiko yang tinggi. Sedangkan pada aspek ergonomi terdapat 8 dari 10 fasilitas telah memenuhi syarat ergonomi dan aspek psikologi diperoleh angka stres kerja laboran pada kategori rendah hingga sedang. Hasil identifikasi bahaya dan penilaian risiko menunjukkan kategori risiko II dan III dari setiap jenis pengujian yang terpilih. Upaya pengendalian dan program K3L perlu ditingkatkan agar bahaya dan risiko dapat dikelola.

Occupational Health and Environmental Safety risk is an important things that needs to be controlled, especially in the laboratory. Work accidents must me minimized so that laboratory activities can continue to be carried out. The aim of this study was to identify the characteristics of the raw materials used in the TPL FTUI Laboratory and analyze the potential hazards and risks based on the type of risk aspects or the type of activity carried out in the TPL FTUI Laboratory. Based on Ministerial Regulation Number 5 of 2018, evaluation of work environment risks can be viewed from various aspects, namely aspects of physics, chemistry, biology, ergonomics and psychology. This research was a quantitative and qualitative study with sampling methods, direct observation, interviews, and questionnare surveys.
The results show that the physical aspect obtained a figure of 52.8 dB which still meets the standard for the noise factor, and 38.2 lux which does not meet the standard for the lighting factor. For the biological aspect, it is considered safe in terms of air quality, but not for the humidity factor. In the chemical aspect, it can be seen that all chemicals used have hazard characteristics with a high risk rate. While in the aspect of ergonomics, there are 8 out of 10 facilities that have met the requirements of ergonomics and from the psychological aspect, the number of laboratory work stress is in the low to medium category. The results of hazard identification and risk assessment indicate risk categories II and III for each type of test selected. OHSE control efforts and programs need to be improved so that hazzards and risks can be managed.

"Dalam rangka mencegah segala potensi risiko, dibutuhkan iklim keselamatan yang baik di tempat kerja. Iklim keselamatan digunakan untuk melihat aspek psikologis pekerja mengenai nilai, sikap, dan persepsi mereka terkait keselamatan di tempat kerja yang dapat berdampak terhadap perilaku. Oleh karena itu untuk mengatasi hal tersebut, penerapan iklim keselamatan yang baik menjadi kunci utama dalam membentuk persepsi pekerja. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran iklim keselamatan di Proyek Pembangunan Kereta Cepat Jakarta Bandung Halim tahun 2022. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain cross sectional. Pengambilan data dilakukan secara daring dan turun langsung ke lapangan dengan menggunakan kuesioner. Sebanyak 70 responden pekerja PT Wijaya Karya Bangunan Gedung berpartisipasi dalam penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata skor dimensi iklim keselamatan secara keseluruhan sudah cukup baik. Dimensi iklim keselamatan tersebut yaitu komitmen manajemen (5,52), komunikasi keselamatan (5,27), pelatihan (5,22), akuntabilitas pribadi (4,98), peraturan dan prosedur (5,14), dan lingkungan yang mendukung (5,16). Hasil penelitian secara keseluruhan menyarankan, untuk merubah persepsi pekerja dapat ditingkatkan melalui penegasan komitmen manajemen, peraturan dan prosedur dengan komunikasi dan pelatihan yang memadai dan ditopang oleh tanggung jawab yang baik serta lingkungan yang mendukung.

To prevent all potential risks, a good safety climate is needed in the workplace. Safety climate is used to look at the psychological aspects of workers regarding their values, attitudes, and perceptions about safety in the workplace which can have an impact on behavior. Therefore, to overcome this, the application of a good safety climate is the main key in shaping workers' perceptions. The purpose of this study was to determine the description of the safety climate in the Jakarta Bandung Halim High Speed ​​Rail Development Project in 2022. This study used a quantitative method with a cross sectional design. Data collection was done online and offline using a questionnaire. A total of 70 respondents workers PT Wijaya Karya Bangunan Gedung participated in this research. The results showed that the average score of the overall safety climate dimension was quite good. The dimensions of the safety climate are management commitment (5.52), communication (5.27), training (5.22), personal accountability (4.98), rules and procedures (5.14), and a supportive environment (5,16). Overall research results suggest that changing employee perceptions can be improved through affirmation of management commitment, regulations and procedures with adequate communication and training also supported by good personal accountability and a supportive environment.

"Penelitian ini membahas tentang manajemen risiko keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja pada proses pembuatan gong di sektor informal Pabrik X tahun 2016. Desain penelitian ini adalah survei dengan pendekatan semi-kuantitatif, menggunakan tools Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) untuk mengidentifikasi bahaya, mengacu pada Standar Manajemen Risiko AS/NZS 4360:2004. Penilaian risiko dilakukan dengan menganalisis nilai kosekuensi, pajanan serta peluang terjadinya dampak, kemudian dianalis dengan metode Fine pada AS/NZS 4360:2004. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa level risiko yang belum acceptable pada setiap proses pembuatan gong di Pabrik X, yaitu very high, priority 1, substansial dan priority 3. Telah dirumuskan rekomendasi pengedalian risiko yang bersifat engineering dan administratif.

The research was about occupational safety and health risk management of gong manufacturing process at informal sector Factory X in 2016. The design of that research was based on a survey with semi-quantitative approach, Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) was used to identify hazard referred to Risk Management Standard AS/NZS 4360:2004. The risk evaluation was conducted by analyze the quality of consequence, exposure and probability of the impacted, then it was analyzed by Fine method in AS/NZS 4360:2004. The result of this research showed level of risk was unacceptable, there were very high, priority 1, substantial and priority 3. Gong manufacturing was suggested to control the risk by engineering and administrative control."
