"This volume, which brings together research presented at the IUTAM Symposium Intelligent Multibody Systems-Dynamics, Control, Simulation, held at Sozopol, Bulgaria, September 11-15, 2017, focuses on preliminary virtual simulation of the dynamics of motion, and analysis of loading of the devices and of their behaviour caused by the working conditions and natural phenomena. This requires up-to-date methods for dynamics analysis and simulation, novel methods for numerical solution of ODE and DAE, real-time simulation, passive, semi-passive and active control algorithms.
Applied examples are mechatronic (intelligent) multibody systems, autonomous vehicles, space structures, structures exposed to external and seismic excitations, large flexible structures and wind generators, robots and bio-robots.
The book covers the following subjects:
-Novel methods in multibody system dynamics;
-Real-time dynamics;
-Dynamic models of passive and active mechatronic devices;
-Vehicle dynamics and control;
-Structural dynamics;

"In this textbook, fundamental methods for model-based design of mechatronic systems are presented in a systematic, comprehensive form. The method framework presented here comprises domain-neutral methods for modeling and performance analysis: multi-domain modeling (energy/port/signal-based), simulation (ODE/DAE/hybrid systems), robust control methods, stochastic dynamic analysis, and quantitative evaluation of designs using system budgets. The model framework is composed of analytical dynamic models for important physical and technical domains of realization of mechatronic functions, such as multibody dynamics, digital information processing and electromechanical transducers. "This is the Proceedings of the IUTAM Symposium on Solver Coupling and Co-Simulation that was held in Darmstadt, Germany, September 18-20, 2017. The symposium focused on recent advances in the development of numerical methods for solver coupling, like new explicit, implicit and semi-implicit co-simulation methods, new approaches for realizing variable communication-time grids, and advances in the stability and convergence analysis of solver coupling methods.
Recent developments in the practical application of co-simulation methods, for instance new fields of application for solver coupling approaches, new developments in the parallelization of dynamic models with co-simulation techniques, and standardization of co-simulation interfaces, i.e. standardization of data and model exchange were also discussed.

"Telah berhasil dibuat sebuah digital read out (DRO) berbasis mikrokontroler 80C5I7A yang mempunyai kemampuan untuk mengkompensasi kesalahan kuasi-statik pada sistem posisi mekanik. Kesalahan kuasi-statik adalah kesalahan posisi yang berubah secara perlahan, yang merupakan perpaduan antara kesalahan geometrik dan termal. Kompensasi dilakukan melalui piranti lunak di dalam DRO dengan menggunakan dua buah polinomial, orde-7 untuk geometrik dan orde-1 untuk termal. Hasil uji menunjukan peningkatan akurasi sebesar 26,97 %.

A digital read out (DRO) has been made based on 80C5 17A microcontroller. The DRO able to compensated quasi-static error for mechanical positioning system. Quasi-static error is position error that changes slowly, this error is combination of geometric error and thermal error. The compensation had done via software inside DRO uses two polynomials, order-7 for geometric error and order-I for thermal error. The result showed that position accuracy increased 26,97 %.
