"ABSTRAKThe number of female employees in the Korean workforce has risen. However, the Korean corporate climate, characterized by collectivism,hierarchism, and senior and masculine privilege, leads them to experience worklifeconflict and even halt their careers. This climate stems from a social andorganizational culture deeply rooted in traditional Confucianism. In Korea, wherehousework and childcare have long been considered the province of women,female employees find it more difficult to balance office work and family life.The Korean corporate climate welcomes overtime work, and women who workoutside the home must juggle this and family responsibilities. We conceptualizebehavior such as acquiescing to overtime work as submissive loyalty and elucidatework-family conflict and decreasing job and life satisfaction as consequencesthereof. The analysis, based on a structural equation model, revealed thatsubmissive loyalty increases work-family conflict, which decreases job and lifesatisfaction."

"Penelitian ini membahas sejauh mana keterlibatan seseorang dengan selebriti mempengaruhi persepsi pariwisata mereka terkait suatu destinasi. Sebuah survai melalui penyebaran kuesioner online dilakukan untuk mengetahui persepsi penonton K-drama di Indonesia terhadap Korea terkait keterlibatan mereka dengan selebriti Korea dalam K-drama. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterlibatan penonton dengan selebriti secara positif mempengaruhi familiaritas. Pengaruh keterlibatan selebriti secara positif terhadap citra destinasi dan niat kunjungan melalui pengaruh langsung tidak dapat dibuktikan dalam penelitian ini. Pengaruh keterlibatan selebriti terhadap niat kunjungan dihasilkan dari pengaruh tidak langsung melalui familiaritas dan citra kognitif.

This study discusses the extent of people?s involvement with a celebrity affects their perception of tourism destinations. An online survey was conducted by distributing questionnaires to determine the perception of K-drama viewers in Indonesia related to their involvement with Korean Celebrities in K-drama. Data analysis technique used in this study is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM).

The results showed that celebrity involvement positively affected familiarity. The positive effects of celebrity involvement towards destination image and visitation intention not directly proven in this study. The influence of celebrity involvement towards visitation intention is generated from indirect effect through familiarity and cognitive image. "

"Penelitian ini membahas tentang nilai nasionalisme yang direpresentasikan oleh tokoh Go Ae-shin dalam drama Mr. Sunshine. Mr. Sunshine merupakan drama Korea Selatan yang disutradarai oleh Lee Eung-bok dan tayang perdana pada pertengahan tahun 2018. Drama ini menceritakan tentang perjuangan lima tokoh dalam mempertahankan Joseon dari pengaruh Jepang dan berlatar belakang di akhir abad ke-19. Pada akhir abad ke-19 pula, paham nasionalisme dan pergerakan nasional di Korea pertama kali muncul. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menjelaskan nilai nasionalisme yang direpresentasikan oleh tokoh Go Aeshin. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teori Representasi Stuart Hall dan nasionalisme Korea. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan terjadinya perubahan peran perempuan Korea yang didasari oleh sikap nasionalisme yang direpresentasikan oleh tokoh Go Ae-shin. Selain itu, ada pula nilai nasionalisme Korea pada tokoh Go Ae-shin yaitu keinginan mempertahankan bangsa dan menentukan nasib bangsa sendiri, nilai kesetiaan dan rela berkorban, serta keterlibatan dalam gerakan nasionalis Euibyeong.

This study discusses the value of Korean nationalism represented by character Go Ae-shin in drama Mr. Sunshine. Mr. Sunshine is a South Korean drama directed by Lee Eung-bok and premiered in the mid-2018. This drama tells about the struggles of five characters in defending Joseon from Japanese influences in the late 19th century. At the end of the 19th century, the notion of nationalism and the national movement in Korea first emerged. The purpose of this study is to explain the value of nationalism represented by character Go Ae-shin. This research was conducted using a descriptive qualitative method. The theory used in this study is Stuart Hall’s Representation theory and Korean nationalism. The result of this study indicates a change in the role of Korean women based on the attitude of nationalism represented by the character Go Ae-shin. In addition, there is also the value of Korean nationalism in Go Ae-shin’s character, namely the desire to defend the nation and determine the fate of the nation itself, the value of loyalty and self-sacrifice, and involvement in the Euibyeong nasionalist movement."
