"Penelitian ini membahas tentang negosiasi identitas tokoh utama dalam film Valentino (2013). Penelitian ini memakai teori film David Bordwell dan Kristin Thompson yang dilihat dari aspek sinematografis. Pendekatan negosiasi menjadi pendukung untuk menganalisis korpus. Hasil penelitian ini memperlihatkan negosiasi dan penolakan identitas yang dipilih tokoh utama untuk menyelesaikan konflik identitasnya. Adanya stereotip orang Belanda terhadap imigran Maroko menjadi penyebab konflik identitas yang dialami tokoh utama. Pada akhirnya tokoh utama memilih untuk tetap mempertahankan identitas Marokonya.

This research discusses the negotiation identity of the main character in the film Valentino (2013). This research uses the theory of the film David Bordwell and Kristin Thompson as seen from cinematographic aspects. The negotiation approach becomes a supporter for analyzing the corpus. The results of this research show that negotiation and rejection of the identity chosen by the main character to resolve their identity conflict. The existence of the stereotype of the Dutch towards Moroccan immigrants is a cause of identity conflict experienced by the main character. In the end the main character chose to keep his Moroccan identity."

"Film Bankier van Het Verzet menjadi salah satu film yang mengangkat kisah nyata perjuangan rakyat Belanda dalam melawan pendudukan Nazi, khususnya Walraven van Hall yang merupakan tokoh utama dalam film dengan ambisinya membela rakyat Belanda. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan permasalahan penelitian yaitu bagaimana tindak tutur digunakan oleh tokoh utama film Bankier van Het Verzet tahun 2018. Teori yang digunakan dalam menyusun penelitian ini yaitu tindak tutur dari Searle (1969). Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini diambil dari dialog tokoh utama yang memiliki dua peran berbeda dalam film dengan judul Bankier van Het Verzet. Film ini diperoleh dari layanan over the top (OTT), Netflix. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menunjukkan adanya perbedaan penggunaan secara umum tindak tutur serta tujuan tindak tutur yang digunakan tokoh utama. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perbedaan tindak tutur yang digunakan tokoh utama sesuai dengan mitra tutur dan konteks yang ada saat tuturan terjadi.

Bankier van Het Verzet is one of the films that tells the true story of the struggle of the Dutch people against the Nazi occupation, focused on Walraven van Hall who is the main character in the film with his ambition to defend the Dutch people. The method of this research is qualitative research method, with the aim of knowing the speech acts of the main character of the 2018’s movie Bankier van Her Verzet. The theory that used to compile this research is the speech of acts by Searle (1969). The data that used in this research was taken from the main character of Bankier van Het Verzet movie that has two different characters. This movie was obtained from Netflix's over the top (OTT) service. The purpose of this research is to show the differences in the general use of speech acts and the purpose of speech acts used by the main character. The results of this research show the differences of the speech acts that used by the main character according to the speech partners and the context that existed when the speech occurred."

"Laki-laki dan perempuan adalah sistem biner pada gender yang normatif yang hadir di tengah-tengah masyarakat. Ketertarikan terhadap laki-laki menjadi hasil dari peran pengalaman traumatis Juno d alam mengonst ruksi id ent it as gend ernya, sed angkan peran sosial menghasilkan konstruksi identitas gender Juno yang mengarah pada adanya sifat-sifat feminin di dalam tubuh Juno yang secara alami maskulin. Dilihat dari posisi film, identitas gender Juno adalah non-biner yang perlu dihargai dan boleh hadir di tengah-tengah masyarakat. Terdapat adanya kritik film terhadap kepura-puraan masyarakat identitas non-biner yang menjalani kehidupan sesuai norma heteroseksualitas.

Men and women are binary systems on normative gender that are present in society. However, other variations of gender identity are also present in society, including transgender, agender, genderqueer, androgynous, or a combination of those identities. There are also variations of sexual identity, such as heterosexual, homosexual, and asexual. Variations in gender identity and sexual identity can be influenced by social roles and traumatic experiences of the individual which depicted in the Indonesian film Kucumbu Tubuh Indahku (2018). The research focuses on the construction of the main character's gender identity. The film is analyzed using Boggs and Petrie’s film theory to dissect the narrative and cinematographic aspects of the film, Judith Butler’s gender studies, and queer studies from Brett Beemyn and Eliason to dissect the ideology of the text. The attraction to men is the result of Juno's traumatic experience in constructing his gender identity, while social roles result in Juno's gender identity construction which leads to the presence of feminine traits in Juno's naturally masculine body. Judging from the film's position, Juno's gender identity is placed as a non-binary that needs to be respected and allowed to be present in society. There is also film criticism against the pretense of society with its non-binary identity who lives a life according to the norms of heterosexuality."

"ABSTRAKSkripsi ini menganalisis perubahan karakter tokoh utama anak yaitu Theeb Al-Howeitat dalam film Theeb. Tujuannya adalah untuk memaparkan dan menjelaskan berbagai perubahan karakter Theeb beserta penyebabnya. Metodologi yang digunakan pada penelitian ini berupa metodologi kepustakaan, metode strukturalis digunakan untuk menganalisis unsur intrinsik, metode deskriptif analitis digunakan untuk menganalisis perubahan karakter tokoh Theeb. Dari hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan tokoh Theeb mengalami perubahan karena mengalami perasaan dukacita yang mendalam, kemudian ia pun berubah menjadi karakter yang lain demi mendapatkan kebahagiaan.

"Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap bagaimana banlieue sebagai lingkungan tempat tinggal dapat mempengaruhi kontruksi identitas dan menjadi penyebab terkonstrukisnya identitas Dounia sebagai tokoh utama dalam Film Divines (2016) karya Houda Benyamina. Film ini menceritakan kehidupan remaja perempuan keturunan Afrika sebagai imigran di Prancis yang bertempat tinggal di sebuah banlieue. Dounia yang merupakan seorang remaja perempuan keturunan imgiran memiliki ambisi untuk meninggalkan banlieue dan memiliki kehidupan di luar banlieue yang ia impikan. Banlieue yang menjadi latar tempat di film Divines ini memperlihatkan penggambaran sebuah tempat tinggal yang jauh dari pusat kota dengan kondisi kehidupan yang kurang memadai. Banlieue adalah salah satu bentuk segregrasi sosial yang diciptakan oleh pemerintah Prancis yang menyimpan berbagai permasalahan sosial di dalamnya bagi masyarakat yang menetap. Metodologi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif. Untuk meneliti aspek naratif dan sinematografis dalam film digunakan teori kajian film dari Boggs & Petrie. Kemudian, digunakan konsep tentang identitas oleh Stuart Hall dalam tulisan ini untuk mengungkap permasalahan identitas tokoh. Hasil analisis memperlihatkan terkonstruksinya identitas Dounia dengan perubahan-perubahan antara lain, tidak mengikuti sistem pendidikan, meninggalkan nilai-nilai budaya dan ketuhanan yang melekat pada dirinya, serta melakukan tindakan kriminal. Adapun penyebab dari terkonstruksinya identitas Dounia adalah disebabkan oleh berbagai faktor seperti kemiskinan, ketidakadilan, dan banyaknya tindakan kriminal yang terjadi di banlieue. Banlieue dalam film ini hadir sebagai tempat yang sulit untuk dihuni sehingga menjadi penyebab tokoh utama berkeinginan untuk melarikan diri dan terjadinya konstruksi identitas. Dounia berfantasi akan kebebasan dan kemewahan yang dapat ia temukan di luar banlieue. Identitas Dounia terkonstruksikan dari upayanya untuk mewujudkan impian utamanya yaitu untuk memulai kehidupan baru di luar banlieue.

This article is intended to reveal how living quarters can influence identity construction and become the identity of Dounia as the main character in Film Divines (2016) by Houda Benyamina. The film tells the life of teenage girls of African descent as immigrants in France who live in banlieue. Dounia who represents teenage girls has the right to get banlieue andhave a life outside the banlieue she dreamed of. The Banlieue which is the setting for the Divines movie returns the depiction of a residence far from the city center with inadequate life situations. Banlieue is one of the forms of social segregation created by the French government that stores various kinds of social services that are available to sedentary communities. The methodology used in this research is qualitative research. To study the narrative and cinematographic aspects of the film, film scoring theory is used from Boggs & Petrie. Then, the concept of identity was used by Stuart Hall in this paper to uncover the question of character identity. The results of the analysis choose the construction of a Dounia identity with changes, among others, not following the education system, taking inherent cultural and divine values to oneself, and committing criminal acts. As a cause of the construction of world identity caused by various factors such as poverty, injustice, and many crimes that occurred in banlieue. But in this film it is present as a difficult place to inhabit so that the main character wishes to break away and change identity construction. Dounia fantasizes about freedom and luxury that can be found outside the banlieue. Dounias identity is constructed from her efforts to realize dreams that are intended to start a new life outside of the banlieue."

"Tuturan atau ujaran yang berisikan kesantunan digunakan untuk menciptakan komunikasi yang baik dan harmonis. Dalam penelitian ini penulis membahas prinsip kesantunan yang ditulis oleh Geoffrey Leech. Menurut Leech prinsip kesantunan dibagi menjadi 6 jenis maksim yaitu; maksim kebijaksanaan, maksim kedermawanan, maksim pujian, maksim kerendahan hati, maksim kesepakatan dan maksim simpati. Metode penulisan yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif yang bersifat deskriptif melalui pengumpulan data. Objek yang digunakan pada penelitian ini berupa film yang berjudul Hoe Duur Was De Suiker karya Jean Van De Velde. Di dalam film ini telah ditemukan Kesantunan maksim yang berjumlah total 74 tuturan yang terdiri dari 6 maksim yakni maksim kebijaksanaan terdapat 37 tuturan, maksim kedermawanan terdapat 5 tuturan, maksim pujian terdapat 11 tuturan, maksim kerendahan hati terdapat 2 tuturan, maksim kesepakatan terdapat 7 tuturan dan maksim simpati ada 12 tuturan.

Speech or utterances that contain politeness are used to create good and harmonious communication. According to Geoffrey Leech there is a principle of politeness which is divided into 6 maxims; the tact maxim, the generosity maxim, the approbation maxim, the modesty maxim, the agreement maxim and the sympathy maxim. The method used in this study is a descriptive qualitative method. The object used in this research is a film entitled Hoe Duur Was De Suiker by Jean Van De Velde. The politeness maxims that have been found in a total of 74 utterances have complied with 6 maxims. In the tact maxim there are 37 utterances, the generosity maxim there are 5 utterances, the approbation maxim there are 11 utterances, the modesty maxim there are 2 utterances, the maxim of agreement there are 7 utterances and the maxim of sympathy there are 12 utterances."

"Darbareye Elly merupakan sebuah film thriller psikologis dari Iran yang disutradarai oleh Asghar Farhadi dan diproduksi pada tahun 2009. Bercerita tentang sekelompok teman yang sedang pergi ke pinggir kota, Pantai Kaspia, untuk berlibur. Seiring berjalannya cerita, terungkap kebohongan-kebohongan dari para tokoh untuk mewujudkan keinginannya masing-masing. Motivasi dari para tokoh membuat perubahan karakter yang digambarkan berbeda-beda. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Teori yang digunakan adalah teori psikologi sastra mengacu pada Sigmund Freud. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memaparkan karakter tokoh utama sesuai dengan teori psikologi sastra oleh Sigmund Freud. Hasil dari penelitian ini didapatkan bahwa kepribadian tokoh utama, yaitu Elly, Sepideh, dan Ahmad memiliki karakter id yang paling mendominasi dibandingkan dengan ego dan superego, serta tokoh yang paling menunjukkan perubahan karakternya adalah Sepideh, lalu Elly, dan yang tidak terlalu menunjukkan perubahan karakternya adalah Ahmad.

It tells the story of a group of friends who go to the edge of the city, the Caspian Coast, for a vacation. As the story progresses, lies are revealed from the characters to realize their respective desires. The motivations of the characters make changes to the characters portrayed differently. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method. The theory used is the theory of literary psychology referring to Sigmund Freud. The purpose of this research is to describe the main character in accordance with the theory of literary psychology by Sigmund Freud. The results of this study found that the personalities of the main characters, namely Elly, Sepideh, and Ahmad have id characters that dominate the most compared to ego and superego, and the character who shows the most character change is Sepideh, then Elly, and the one who doesn't show too much character change is Ahmad."

ABSTRACT<>br>This article discusses homosexuality featured in the film J 39 ai r v sous l 39 eau. This article raises the issue of sexual orientation that occurred on the character Antonin. Factor from within himself is the main trigger of the change of his sexual orientation due to the sadness of losing someone he loves, Alex. The results of this study show that the change in sexual identity in the film J 39 ai r v sous l 39 eau is caused by internal factors, such as the feeling of losing and the sadness due to the death of someone he loves. In addition, the other factor that affects the change of Antonin 39 s sexual orientation is the presences of Juliette and Baptiste who give attention, affection and intimate closeness that cause the changes of sexual identity to Antonin. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan dinamika kepribadian tokoh Anne. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teori psikoanalisis dari Sigmund Freud mengenai id, ego, dan superego. Teori psikoanalisis didukung oleh pendapat William McDougall tentang naluri dasar manusia. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perubahan unsur kepribadian pada tokoh Anne, yaitu dari id menjadi ego, id ke ego lalu menjadi superego, dan id ke superego lalu menjadi ego. Penelitian ini memberikan pemahaman yang lebih dalam tentang perubahan kepribadian tokoh utama dalam film Anne+ (2021).

The need for entertainment is increasing over time. One of the entertainment media is a movie. Through movies, various realities in society are presented, one of which is the existence of the LGBT community. The topic is represented in the movie Anne+ (2021) by Valerie Bisscheroux, which lasts 1 hour and 35 minutes. The movie tells the story of Anne's life journey in the process of discovering her identity as a lesbian in the Netherlands. The process includes issues that Anne faces, such as romance, career, friendship, and self-development. A series of obstacles and situations affect changes in Anne's personality elements. The problem of this research is how are the personality dynamics of the main character in the movie Anne+ (2021) by Valerie Bisscheroux. The purpose of this research is to describe the personality dynamics of Anne's character. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. The theory used in this research is Sigmund Freud's psychoanalysis theory of id, ego, and superego. Psychoanalysis theory is supported by William McDougall's opinion on basic human instincts. The results of this study show that there are changes in the elements of personality in the character Anne, namely from id to ego, id to ego then to superego, and id to superego then to ego. This research provides a deeper understanding of the personality changes of the main character in the movie Anne+ (2021)."

Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa hierarki kebutuhan manusia dari tokoh utama film Antonia’s Line (1995) yang tersusun atas kebutuhan fisiologis, kebutuhan keamanan, kebutuhan cinta, kebutuhan ego, dan kebutuhan aktualisasi diri dari Antonia berhasil terpenuhi.

The film Antonia’s Line (1995) received many prestigious awards and gained much attention from film critics as well as journalists. The film which lasts 1 hour 42 minutes tells the story of a woman named Antonia who returns to the village where she was born with her daughter, Danielle, after World War II. The problem of this research is how are the hierarchy of human needs of the main character in Antonia's Line (1995) film by Marleen Gorris. The purpose of this research is to describe the hierarchy of human needs of the main character in Antonia's Line (1995) film by Marleen Goris. The method used in this research is qualitative descriptive method. This research used the theory of the hierarchy of human needs by Abraham Harold Maslow and supported by the theory of character from Nurgiyantoro. The results of this research show that the hierarchy of human needs of the main character in Antonia’s Line (1995) film which is composed of physiological needs, security needs, love needs, ego needs, and self-actualization needs has been successfully fulfilled."
