"Pandangan konvensional tentang pembangunan yang hanya berorientasi pada pertumbuhan ekonomi tidak lagi sejalan dengan berkurangnya ketersediaan sumber daya tak terbarukan yang membutuhkan pembangunan berkelanjutan. Indonesia menerapkan konsep pembangunan berkelanjutan, salah satu bentuk perwujudannya di desa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperluas pemahaman tentang perilaku masyarakat setempat terhadap higienitas untuk mendukung kelestarian lingkungan dan keberlanjutan ekonomi rumah tangga, termasuk identifikasi berbagai faktor yang terkait dengan pembangunan berkelanjutan dan membuat saran bagi masyarakat desa dan pemerintah untuk mencapai pembangunan berkelanjutan di desa. Pemodelan menggunakan dinamika bisnis sistem menggunakan model dasar Pezzey tentang ekonomi lingkungan yang berkelanjutan, kemudian dikembangkan sesuai dengan hasil metode penelitian campuran yang menggabungkan wawancara mendalam dengan data historis desa dan studi literatur. Model kemudian disimulasikan dan hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa polusi akan terus meningkat setiap tahun, tetapi seiring waktu orang akan beradaptasi terutama terhadap polusi udara dan air. Namun, penyakit akibat polusi tanah yang disebabkan memakan pisang membutuhkan waktu yang lama sehingga penduduk desa tidak peduli dan terus memakan pisang berkualitas rendah. Pengurangan limbah keluarga dan penghijauan diperlukan untuk mengurangi jumlah polusi.

The conventional view of development which is only oriented to economic growth is no longer in line with the decreasing availability of non-renewable resources that requires sustainable development. Indonesia applies the concept of sustainable development, one form of manifestation is in the village. This research aims to extend understanding the behavior of the local community towards hygiene to support environmental sustainability and the sustainability of the household economics, including the identification of various factors related to sustainable development and make suggestions for village communities and the government to achieve sustainable development in the village.

Modeling using system business dynamics used Pezzey's basic model of sustainable environmental economic, then it was developed in accordance with the results of mix methods that combine in-depth interviews with historical village data and literature studies. The model is then simulated and the results show that pollution will continue to increase every year, but over time people will adapt especially to air and water pollution. However, diseases from soil pollution caused by eating bananas take a long time so that the villagers do not care and continue to eat poor quality bananas. Reduction of family waste and greening are needed to reduce the amount of pollution."

"Elemen penting dalam pembangunan berkelanjutan adalah pembangunan ekonomi dan sosial tanpa mengancam kemampuan generasi mendatang untuk memenuhi kebutuhan mereka. Namun, Indonesia sendiri baru saja mengadopsi prinsip pembangunan berkelanjutan melalui Peraturan Presiden (Perpres) Nomor 59 Tahun 2017. Oleh karena itu, ada kekurangan dalam penelitian mengenai model pembangunan berkelanjutan, terutama pembangunan berkelanjutan di daerah pedesaan Indonesia. Melalui penelitian ini, penulis ingin mengembangkan model pembangunan berkelanjutan dari perspektif socioeconomicmasyarakat pedesaan menggunakan metode sistem dinamis. Hasil simulasi model menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan timbal balik terutama nilai modal sosial yang dipengaruhi oleh tingkat kepemimpinan dan pemenuhan kebutuhan, atau dengan kata lain, kondisi sosial dipengaruhi oleh kondisi kepemimpinan desa dan kondisi individu di desa. masyarakat. Pengaruh itu juga berlaku sebaliknya. Oleh karena itu, penulis mengusulkan beberapa intervensi dalam bentuk mengurangi tingkat inflasi dan meningkatkan kesadaran sosial sehingga hubungan timbal balik dapat memiliki efek positif pada pembangunan berkelanjutan.

An essential element in sustainable development is economic and social development without threatening the ability of future generations to meet their needs. However, Indonesia itself has just adopted the principles of sustainable development through Presidential Regulation (Perpres) Number 59 of 2017. Therefore, there are shortcomings in research regarding the sustainable development model, especially sustainable development in Indonesia's rural areas. Through this research, the author wants to develop a model of sustainable development from the socioeconomic perspective of rural communities using system dynamics method.

The model simulation results show that there is a reciprocal relationship especially the value of social capital levels that are influenced by leadership level and needs fulfillment, or in other words, social conditions are influenced by the conditions of village leadership and the conditions of individuals in the community. The influence also applies otherwise. Therefore, the authors propose several interventions in the form of reducing the inflation rate and increasing social awareness so that mutual relations can have a positive effect on sustainable development."

"Pembangunan ekonomi berkelanjutan seharusnya tidak hanya ditanggung oleh pemerintah sebagai aktor utama. Kehadiran sektor swasta yang dapat menciptakan shared value melalui operasi bisnis mereka diperlukan dalam mempertahankan pembangunan ekonomi masyarakat local di mana perusahaan beroperasi. Untuk mencapai hal tersebut, private-community partnership mampu menjadi cara yang potensial bagi bisnis meningkatkan competitive advantage-nya dan di saat yang sama mengembangkan perekonomian masyarakat lokal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membangun model terkait private-community partnership dengan meneliti bisnis penggemukan domba Alifa Farm. Hasil pemodelan menggunakan pendekatan system dynamics menunjukkan pentingnya pasokan bakalan atau bibit domba dalam mempertahankan pengembangan program kemitraan. Oleh karena itu, alih-alih memfokuskan kemitraan pada program penggemukan domba, program pengembangbiakan domba merupakan alternatif untuk menyelesaikan masalah pasokan bakalan domba tersebut. Hasil simulasi dari intervensi menunjukkan peningkatan jumlah warga di komunitas lokal yang dapat merasakan manfaat kemitraan. Maka dari itu, kerja sama antara Alifa Farm dan pemerintah diperlukan untuk menyukseskan intervensi kebijakan tersebut.

Sustainable economic development should not just be borne by government as the primary actor. The presence of private sectors that could create shared value through their business operation is needed to take a role in sustaining their local community’s economic development. Private-community partnership is a potential way for businesses to gain competitive advantage while also fostering its local community. Therefore, this research aims to construct a model regarding private-community partnership by studying Alifa Farm’s sheep-fattening business. Key variables along with their interdependences and interrelations in this business-community partnership are identified and modelled by using system dynamic methodology. The simulation results show the importance of lamb supply in sustaining the development of the partnership programs. Therefore, instead of focusing its shared value only through sheep fattening partnership program, sheep breeding program is an alternative to solve the lamb supply issues while expanding Alifa Farm’s role in sustaining and developing the local community’s economic development. The simulation’s result from the intervention shows an increased number of citizens in the local community who are able to experience the benefit of the partnership. However, public-private-partnership with the local government is needed to realize the economic development potential of the intervention."

"Peluang mengembalikan kejayaan industri coklat Indonesia di level dunia masih terbuka luas dengan mulai bertumbuhnya industri artisan coklat yang memiliki posisi yang baik dalam menggerakkan industri yang ramah lingkungan dengan produk yang berkualitas tinggi dibandingkan dengan industri coklat komoditas yang telah lama dikenal praktik produksinya yang tidak berkelanjutan. Industri artisan coklat turut mendorong semangat petani kakao untuk mendapatkan pendapatan yang lebih tinggi dengan pemenuhan standar kualitas. Pemerintah telah mulai melirik dan mendorong sektor industri artisan coklat ini untuk bertumbuh. Penelitian ini mengembangkan sebuah model kebijakan dengan mempertimbangkan aspek keberlanjutan di sepanjang rantai pasok makanan pertanian yang memiliki karakteristik multi-aktor dengan menggunakan pendekatan model sistem dinamik dengan integrasi data kinerja lingkungan dengan pendekatan life cycle assessment. Hasil simulasi memberikan konfirmasi adanya saling pengaruh antar ketiga aspek berkelanjutan yaitu ekonomi, lingkungan dan sosial, terutama dari tiga skenario yang yaitu skenario kemakmuran ekonomi, kelestarian lingkungan dan kesejahteraan sosial. Secara umum hasil simulasi menunjukkan adanya peluang peningkatan kesejahteraan namun tanpa adanya dukungan tambahan dan insentif kepada petani, keberlanjutan sulit untuk dicapai. Sebagai tambahan, model kebijakan yang dihasilkan dapat dijadikan instrumen pendukung keputusan untuk pembuatan kebijakan pengelolaan rantai pasok sektor industri artisan produk makanan pertanian secara umum.

The opportunity to reinstate the glory of the Indonesian chocolate industry at the world level is widely open due to the growth of the artisanal chocolate industry, which is well-positioned to move the chocolate industry in the direction of improved environmentally conscious production practices and higher-quality products comparing the commodity chocolate industry has been long recognized for unsustainable. The artisanal chocolate industry encourages cocoa farmers to earn higher incomes by fulfilling quality standards. The government has started to pay more attention and promote the artisanal chocolate industry sector to develop in the future. This study developed a policy multi-actor model based on a system dynamics approach by considering sustainability aspects along the agri-food supply chain by integrating environmental performance through a life cycle assessment approach. The simulation results of this model showed the mutual influence between the three aspects of sustainability, namely economic, environmental, and social, by examining three scenarios that are expected to meet the three sustainability principles: economic prosperity, environmental sustainability, and social welfare. The simulation also shows that although there are opportunities to increase welfare, sustainability is difficult to achieve without additional support and incentives for farmers. In addition, our policy model can be used as a decision-support tool, specifically in the chocolate industry and for similar artisan food and agriculture sectors that mostly have a similar supply chain."
