This paper aims to discuss primarily on the notion of the kind of work-integrated learning model that would be plausible for Indonesian colleges by considering elements pertinent to policies and practices from the perspective of higher education. Strategizing analysis frameworks were used to dissect the information base on policies, best practices, and current situations related to co-operative education programs. The results show that a work-integrated model that is practicable for Indonesian co-op education should consider both the top-bottom viewpoints as well as weighing both drives and threats help examine its potential"

"Efek feeling pada kapal logam maupun kapal kayu dapat menyebabkan kerusakan pada struktur kapal tersebut. Untuk mengatasi efek dari fouling tersebut diperlukan cat yang dapat mengatasi efek fouling. Efek fouling terjadi pada bagian bawah garis air kapal yang diakibatkan oleh biota laut, sehingga efek fouling dapat terjadi dengan cepat apabila kapal tersebut jarang berlayar atau hanya bersandar saja. Dengan adanya permasalahan diatas, diadakan penelitian cat anti fouling yang digunakan Kapal Perang Republik Indonesia. Dengan mengadakan penelitian cat anti fouling diharapkan dapat mengurangi biaya perawatan kapal perang Republik Indonesia. Selain itu akan diteliti cat anti fouling yang ramah lingkungan, sehingga tidak merusak biota laut yang ada di sekitar kapal. Bahan yang digunakan dalam pengujian adalah 16 merk cat anti fouling yang digunakan untuk melindungi bagian bawah garis air kapal. Metode yang digunakan adalah pengujian di laboraturium dan di lapangan untuk mengetahui kualitas cat anti fouling. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dari 16 merk cat anti fouling yang mempunyai nilai baik ada 6 merk."

Water tank is an indispensable tool in rural areas as rain water storage for clean water because the water source other eligible difficult to obtain. These conditions not only occur in areas that are difficult to get water to dry land, but also the beach area to the tides. Therefore the container vessel is a building that is needed in very household. During the manufacture of water tanks by using iron reinforcement material woven wire, or better known as Ferrocement, but with the material requires a relatively high cost. departing from this conditions, to assist the public in making water tanks need to created technologies applicable, pratical, inexpensive and environmentally friendly by utilizing local resources."

Terdapat berbagai permasalahan lingkungan yang ada di Indonesia, salah satunya adalah masalah sampah. Salah satu cara untuk mengatasi permasalahan lingkungan adalah dengan beralih menggunakan produk ramah lingkungan. Untuk dapat memprediksi pembelian produk ramah lingkungan, penting untuk meneliti intensi membeli produk ramah lingkungan. Penelitian ini berfokus pada dua hal yang menyebabkan green purchase intention, yaitu perceived environmental responsibility dan concern for self-image pada konsumen emerging adult. Partisipan berusia 18-29 tahun mengisi kuesioner secara daring. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perceived environmental responsibility dan concern for self-image secara bersamaan memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan dalam memprediksi green purchase intention pada konsumen emerging adult. Selain itu, concern for self-image memiliki pengaruh yang lebih besar terhadap green purchase intention dibandingkan perceived environmental responsibility. Hal ini berarti bahwa pada konsumen emerging adult intensi membeli produk ramah lingkungan lebih dipengaruhi oleh kepedulian terhadap citra diri dibandingkan rasa tanggung jawab terhadap lingkungan.


Among many environmental problems in Indonesia, plastic waste is one of them. Changing from brown products to green products is one way to overcome environmental problems. It is important to know green purchase intention to predict green purchasing behavior. This study aims to examine the effect of perceived environmental responsibility and concern for self-image in emerging adult. Participants in this study are emerging adults (18-29 years old) who filled online questionaires. The result of this study indicated that perceived environmental responsibility and concern for self-image simultaneously affect green purchase intention in emerging adult consumer. The results also show that concern for self-image has stronger effect on green purchase intention than perceived environmental responsibility. Therefore, emerging adult consumer’s intention to buy green products are more influenced by concern for self-image than perceived environmental responsibility.

"Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya peningkatan aktifitas operasional, ekonomi dan sosial masyarakat dalam menggunakan jasa pelabuhan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan ekonomi berpotensi menurunkan kualitas lingkungan di pelabuhan akibat adanya timbulan sampah. Tujuan utama penelitian ini membangun kerangka quasi strategi pengembangan pelabuhan perikanan ramah lingkungan untuk memberikan konsep, saran dan pemikiran terkait pengembangan pelabuhan perikanan ramah lingkungan melalui pengelolaan sampah di Pelabuhan Perikanan Nusantara Karangantu. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode campuran (mixed method) kualitatif didukung kuantitatif. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah pengelolaan sampah dengan konsep berbasis kemitraan untuk saling memberikan keuntungan. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini bahwa regulasi dan kemitraan pengelolaan sampah merupakan quasi strategi pengembangan pelabuhan perikanan ramah lingkungan.

This research is motivated by the increasing operational, economic, and social activities of the community in using port services to meet economic needs, which has the potential to degrade the environmental quality at the port due to waste generation. The main objective of this research is to construct a quasi-strategic framework for the development of an environmentally friendly fisheries port to provide concepts, recommendations, and thoughts related to the development of an environmentally friendly fisheries port through waste management at the Karangantu National Fishing Port. The method used is a mixed-method, with qualitative supported by quantitative approaches. The results of this research emphasize waste management with a partnership-based concept to mutually benefit each party. The conclusion drawn from this research is that waste management regulations and partnerships constitute quasi-strategic development for an environmentally friendly fisheries port."

"Meningkatnya kesadaran dan kepedulian konsumen terhadap lingkungan, secara logis akan mengarahkan perilaku mereka dalam memilih produk yang ramah lingkungan.
The increase of consumers awareness of and concerns for the environment, logically will lead their behaviour in selecting environment-friendly products.
In Indonesia, wearing batik apparel as daily use is now becoming a trend. Less formal compared to business suits, people wearing batik for both informal as well as formal occasion. Today, synthetic colour batik is highly accessible, easy to find in the market and almost used by people in Indonesia. In contrast to natural colour batik, that is less produced by certain batik producers since it takes longer and time-consuming. However, natural colour batik has its uniqueness for making it rare to find a similar design which eventually becomes its competitive advantage. As a matter of more prolonged in the production process and limited resource, the price of natural colour batik comes higher.
This study looks at the relationship among consumers environmental consciousness, perception, and perceived value to influence their purchasing decision towards natural colour batik as an environmentally friendly apparel product.

"Permintaan plastik domestik di Indonesia terus meningkat, sementara limbah organik seperti Tandan Kosong Kelapa Sawit (TKKS) menawarkan potensi sebagai bahan baku Wood Polymer Composite (WPC) berbasis polietilena daur ulang (Recycled Polyethylene, rPE). Penelitian ini mengkaji pengaruh perlakuan alkalisasi dan fermentasi terhadap sifat mekanis, kimia, morfologi, dan termal TKKS sebagai filler dalam WPC. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa alkalisasi efektif menghilangkan lignin dan hemiselulosa, menghasilkan struktur serat lebih kasar yang meningkatkan interaksi dengan matriks rPE, sehingga meningkatkan kekuatan tarik dan lentur. Fermentasi menggunakan bakteri G. sichuananse mempertahankan struktur selulosa yang lebih kristalin, meningkatkan fleksibilitas dan kompatibilitas serat dengan matriks polimer. Uji termal menunjukkan alkalisasi memberikan stabilitas termal tertinggi dengan onset degradasi pada 323,37°C, sedangkan fermentasi menghasilkan flexural strength dan ultimate tensile strength optimal pada kandungan serat 10–15%. Dengan performa mekanis dan termal yang baik, WPC berbasis TKKS dan rPE berpotensi sebagai material furnitur ramah lingkungan, memberikan solusi inovatif bagi pengelolaan limbah plastik dan organik di Indonesia.

The demand for domestic plastics in Indonesia continues to increase, while organic waste such as Empty Fruit Bunches (EFB) presents potential as a raw material for Wood Polymer Composite (WPC) based on recycled polyethylene (rPE). This study examines the effects of alkali treatment and fermentation on the mechanical, chemical, morphological, and thermal properties of EFB as a filler in WPC. The results demonstrate that alkali treatment effectively removes lignin and hemicellulose, producing coarser fiber structures that enhance interaction with the rPE matrix, thereby improving tensile and flexural strength. Fermentation using G. sichuananse bacteria preserves a more crystalline cellulose structure, improving the flexibility and compatibility of fibers with the polymer matrix. Thermal analysis shows that alkali treatment provides the highest thermal stability, with a primary degradation onset at 323.37°C, while fermentation achieves optimal flexural strength and ultimate tensile strength at 10–15% fiber content. With excellent mechanical and thermal performance, WPC based on EFB and rPE holds potential as an environmentally friendly furniture material, offering an innovative solution for managing plastic and organic waste in Indonesia."

Saat ini sektor bangunan menyerap 40% energi global, 25% air global dan turut menyumbangkan 30% emisi gas rumah kaca di dunia. Pada kota metropolitan seperti Jakarta, zonasi bangunan dengan fungsi kantor adalah salah satu fungsi mayoritas dalam Rencana Tata Ruang Wilayah serta berkontribusi signifikan terhadap luas lahan terbangun. Kantor Pemerintahan sebagai gedung dengan fungsi spesifik memiliki peran penting dalam pelayanan kepada masyarakat dan  produktivitas pengguna gedungnya terpengaruh oleh kenyamanan termal. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menyusun model kenyamanan termal bagi pengguna gedung kantor pemerintah yang ramah lingkungan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Mix Method (Kuantitatif dan Kualitatif) pengukuran tingkat kenyamanan termal pada manusia menggunakan skala PMV (Predicted Mean Vote) dan Percentage Person Dissatisfied (PPD) melalui kuesioner dan pengukuran langsung pada elemen fisik gedung, Konsumsi Energi pada gedung (IKE/Indeks Konsumsi Energi Gedung), Produktivitas kerja dan Indeks pelayanan masyarakat (Kepuasan Kerja dan Kinerja Kerja) serta lokasi gedung berdasar analisis spasial berdasarkan kewilayahan administratif di Pemprov DKI Jakarta. Hasil pengukuran menunjukkan, kenyamanan termal di Jakarta Pusat adalah 27,06°C to 30,06°C, sedikit lebih rendah dibanding Jakarta Utara (27,29°C to 30,41°C) dan kenyamanan termal di Jakarta Selatan adalah pada rentang 25,92°C – 31,89°C. Populasi dalam penelitian ini terbagi 2 (dua) yaitu: Populasi gedung adalah semua Gedung dengan fungsi kantor Pemerintah/BUMD milik Pemprov DKI Jakarta sejumlah 311 Gedung kantor dan pengelola gedung sebanyak 367 orang. Data menggunakan daftar database gedung milik Pemprov DKI Jakarta dari Unit Pelaksana Teknis Jakarta Smart City. Keterkaitan antara variable diolah dengan SEM-PLS Structural Equation Modeling - Partial Least Square untuk diolah dan dibuat permodelan.  Hasil dari beberapa pengujian model didapatkan model yang cocok terhadap tujuan riset.

 


A study to create an environmentally friendly model based on outdoor and indoor thermal comfort (physical and non-physical aspects) in public service buildings was conducted in Jakarta Metropolitan Area. The region is divided into 5 (five) administrative metropolitan areas (North, South, East, West, and Central areas). 367 building occupants/managers from typical government buildings (3-4 stories) with Air Conditioned and Naturally Ventilated (NV) buildings were selected for the survey. Indoor and outdoor measurements of specific air temperature and other relevant thermal elements were carried out in public service facilities in three regions (North, Central, and South). For each selected building, the occupants filled an e-questionnaire indicating the thermal response in different periods of the day by using the ASHRAE thermal comfort scale standard. Variations of air temperature and the thermal response were recorded in surrounding areas. The air temperature variation across the neighborhoods was found to be influenced by different region characteristics. The comfort temperature of subjects in Central Jakarta ranged from 27.06°C to 30.06°C, slightly lower than in the North Jakarta (27.29°C to 30.41°C) and the comfort temperature of subjects in South Jakarta ranged from 25.92°C to 31.89°C. The variations of temperature across the regions and different geographical conditions such as land elevation were found to affect indoor thermal comfort. It is concluded that the spatial/geographical locations and land elevation had an impact on the indoor comfort of building occupants. Other findings in this research is fit model suggested in literature survey, examination of the public facility energy consumption in each region and factors influencing variables of thermal comfort using model measured by Partial Least Square Structural Equation Method. These findings could lead to a better strategy in building public service facilities in a specific geographic location.
