ABSTRAKThe Dutch Penal Code entered into force on September 1, 1886. Since then many parts of the Dutch Penal Code have been discussed. This article does not intend to provide an integral systematic overview of the Dutch Penal Code and the many changes it has been subjected to, but examines (in the first part of this article) it generally, with the aim of showing various arguments for a more thorough review of the Dutch Penal Code. Recognizing the need for revision of the Penal Code, the question arises as to what is meant by a revision. More clarity on what is meant by revising a Penal Code is necessary to prevent failure therein as a result of terminological ambiguity or carelessness. In the second part of this article three manners in which a Penal Code may be revised are described. They are: modification, integral revision, and re-codification.

"Teori coding merupakan ilmu yang mempelajari metode pengkodean informasi yang mampu mengontrol kesalahan yang terjadi selama pengiriman informasi tersebut. Tahapan pengiriman informasi dimulai dari proses encoding source, yaitu proses merubah informasi menjadi barisan simbol, yang disebut pesan dan berbentuk ^-tuple. Simbol yang digunakan adalah elemen-elemen dari suatu field hingga GF(q),q = 2 ,me.N. Selanjutnya, pesan diubah menjadi codeword yang berbentuk -tuple, n>k, melalui proses encoding. Himpunan semua codeword disebut code. Codeword tersebut dikirimkan melalui suatu channel dan diterima sebagai receivedword. Proses decoding memeriksa error yang mungkin terjadi selama proses pengiriman dan merubah kembali receivedword menjadi pesan awal. Pesan basil proses decoding diubah kembali menjadi informasi melalui proses decoding source. Kemampuan kontrol error dari metode pengkodean yang digunakan ditentukan oleh jarak minimum dari setiap pasang codeword di dalam code. Dalam perkembangannya, terdapat berbagai jenis code yang memiliki proses konstruksi dan sifat tertentu. BCH code dan Reed-Solomon code adalah jenis code yang tennasuk ke dalam cyclic code, dan banyak digunakan dalam bidang teknologi informasi dan komunikasi. Pada penelitian ini, dilakukan analisis terhadap konstruksi BCH code dan Reed-Solomon code serta sifat-sifat yang dimiliki oleh kedua jenis code tersebut dan perbandingan antar keduanya. Untuk mendukung pembahasan di dalam penelitian ini, dilakukan simulasi dengan menggunakan software MATLAB.
Coding theory is the study of information coding method to control errors that occur during the information transmission. The stages of information transmission start with source encoding process, which converts information into a row of symbols, called the message with A:-tuples form. Symbols used are the elements of a finite field GF{q),q = 2"', me. N. Furthermore, the message is converted into codeword with n-tuple, n>k, form through the encoding process. The set of all codewords is called code. Codeword is delivered across a channel and received as the receivedword. Decoding process checks the errors that might occur during the transmission process and changes the receivedword back into the original message. The output message resulted in decoding process is converted back into the original information through the decoding source process. Error control capability of a coding method used is determined by the minimum distance of each pair of codewords in the code. During its development, there are different types of code which have particular construction process and properties. BCH codes and Reed-Solomon code are types of the cyclic code, and widely used in the information technology and communications field. This study analyzed the construction and the properties of BCH codes and Reed-Solomon code including the comparison between them. To support the discussion, this study carried out simulations using MATLAB software."

"Dalam bidang komunikasi, ketersediaan bandwidth yang semakin terbatas mendorong timbulnya kebutuhan akan teknologi-teknologi yang dapat memanfaatkan bandwidth yang tersedia seoptimal mungkin. Salah satu teknologi yang memungkinkan penggunaan bandwidth lebih maksimal ialah Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM). OFDM merupakan salah satu teknik transmisi yang menggunakan beberapa buah frequency subcarrier yang saling tegak lurus (orthogonal). Karakteristik yang saling orthogonal membuat frequency subcarrier dapat saling overlap tanpa menimbulkan Interferensi.
Huffman coding adalah suatu metode kompresi data dengan cara pembentukan pohon Huffman melalui proses encoding menyebabkan data tersebut dapat dikompresi sehingga penggunaan Huffman coding pada rangkaian pengirim OFDM dapat semakin mengoptimalkan penggunaan bandwidth.
Pada Skripsi ini, dilakukan rancang bangun rangkaian pengirim OFDM dengan Huffman coding pada DSK (Digital Signal Processing Starter Kit) TMS320C6713 menggunakan Simulink. Dari hasil rancang bangun didapatkan bahwa rangkaian pengirim OFDM dengan Huffman code dapat dibangun dengan menggunakan Prosesor DSP (Digital Signal Processing).
In the communication field, bandwidth availability that is becoming more limited has caused the need for technologies that can make use of the bandwidth available optimally. One of the technologies that could maximize the use of bandwidth is Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) OFDM is one of the transmission techniques that uses frequency subcarriers which is orthogonal to each other. The frequency subcarriers orthogonality enables them to overlap with each other without producing interference. Huffman coding is a method of data compression by making a Huffman tree in the encoding process which can causes data to be compress so that the use of Huffman coding in the OFDM transmitter can further optimize the bandwidth usage. In this research, the design and development of OFDM Transmitter with Huffman Coding is built into DSK (Digital Signal Processing Starter Kit) TMS 320C6713 using Simulink. The result shows that OFDM Transmitter with Huffman Coding can be built by using DSP (Digital Signal Processing) Processor."
