"ABSTRAK
Disertasi ini bertujuan untuk mempelajari kelindan antara kaidah proporsi matematis, seni, dan takhingga melalui telaah irisan kencana (golden section) dalam dialektika seni. Berawal dari argumentasi ontologis seni, ditemukan bahwa keindahan seni terletak pada ketepatan hubungan-hubungan proporsional antara gagasan dan bentuk. Melalui telaah dialektis irisan kencana dalam langgam-langgam seni pada estetika Hegel ? seni simbolik, seni klasik, dan seni romantik ? dibuktikan bahwa irisan kencana adalah wujud universal konkret hubungan-hubungan proporsional antara gagasan dan bentuk sebagai keseluruhan dan bagian. Perkembangan irisan kencana dalam dialektika seni merupakan wujud dialektika kesadaran dalam memahami takhingga dalam seni. Ketika kesadaran mampu mewujudkan kesatuan antara isi rohani seni dan rupa artistiknya dengan hubungan-hubungan proporsional layaknya, ketika itulah ananta ? sebagai takhingga sejati ? dalam seni terwujud.

ABSTRACT
This dissertation studies the connection among mathematical systems of proportion, art, and the infinite through the study of the golden section in the dialectics of art. Started with an ontological perspective of art, it is found that the beauty of art lies in the precision of the proportional relationships between its idea and form. Through the dialectical study of the golden section in Hegel?s types of art ? symbolic art, classical art, and romantic art ? it is proven that the golden section is a concret universal manifestation of the proportional relationships between idea and form as the whole and the part. The development of the golden section concept in the dialectics of art also reveals the dialectics of consciousness in its effort to grasp the infinite in art. When consciousness is finally able to manifest the unity of the idea and its artistic shape in its proper proportional relationships, the true infinite in art becomes concrete."

"Arsitektur seringkali hanya dilihat dari elemen fisiknya yang terlihat yaitu bangunan sehingga elemen ruang sebagai salah satu pembentuknya seringkali terabaikan. Elemen ruang tidak terbatas hanya pada arsitektur juga tetapi juga terdapat pada berbagai seni seperti seni pertunjukan. Skenografi adalah contoh bagaimana pengaturan elemen ruang dapat menghasilkan pengalaman dalam sebuah pertunjukan.Dalam seni pertunjukan terdapat penonton dan pelaku pertunjukan yang menikmati pertunjukan dan juga ruangan sebagai lingkungannya.
Skripsi ini menjabarkan dan menyimpulkan bagaimana pengalaman dapat muncul dalam sebuah pertunjukan dan bagaimana penonton sebagai sebuah grup sosial mengapresiasinya dalam bentuk tindakan, tidak hanya pertunjukan karya seni pertunjukan tapi juga elemen ruang didalamnya

Architecture oftenly seen just by its physical element which is building so space as one of its element was neglected. Actually, Space as element is not limited in architecture but also in art like performing art. Scenography is a example how setting space element can produce experience in a performance. In performing art there are audiences and performer who not only enjoy and experiencing the show buat also the stages and auditorium as the enviroment.
This Thesis ini describes dan concludes how experience is created in a performance and how audience as the consumer appreciate not only the show but also the spatial element within it, by their responses in action.

"Globalization is a much talked about subject in academic and non-academic circles; hence plenty has been written to understand it, describe it, and find conceptual tools to explain it. However, academic work on globalization often tends to segment it into either economic globalization in the form of flows of capital, investment, commodities, or cultural globalization in the form of fast food, Barbie dolls, and migrant landscapes, or political globalization in the form of hollowing out of the nation state and the emergence of region states. This book explores spectacular landscapes of the Akshardham temples in Gandhinagar and Delhi in India, and Atlanta, Dallas, and Houston in the U.S. to understand globalization as it unfolds in a culture economy synthesis. It critiques analysis as an approach, because of its tendency to segment and sequence reality in such simplistic ways that the very essence of reality is lost. Instead, the book adopts Marxian dialectics and attempts to understand the everyday reality of globalization as it is synthesized in the city. In this approach, culture, economy, and the city are not discrete worlds, but work in tandem to produce globalization through migrant narratives, migrant temple complexes, Vedic boat rides, sound and light laser shows, and theme park religious complexes. The book therefore is as much an exploration of the dialectical stance in social theory and geography as it is a Marxist feminist critique of the spectacular commodification of the urban.
