"Alih kode dapat ditemukan di banyak negara yang terdapat kontak bahasa. Belanda adalah salah satu dari banyak negara tersebut, dan merupakan salah satu negara yang sangat terbuka dengan bahasa Inggris. Alih kode dari bahasa Belanda ke bahasa Inggris sering ditemukan pada umumnya di masyarakat Belanda dan juga di kanal-kanal youtuber Belanda. Makalah ini membahas alih kode yang ditemukan dalam kanal Youtube EnzoKnol, yakni vlog lsquo;Doe normaal man!!! ndash; ENZOKNOL VLOG 1313 rsquo; dan video gim lsquo;HIDE SEEK HACKER! rsquo;. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memaparkan wujud alih kode dan menjelaskan fungsi alih kode yang digunakan dalam kedua video tersebut. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan bantuan metode kuantitatif. Dari hasil analisis diperoleh bahwa wujud dan fungsi alih kode yang paling banyak ditemukan adalah intra-sentential switches dan fungsi ekspresif. Beberapa pemicu alih kode lainnya yang ditemukan adalah karena situasi emosional penutur dan kelaziman penggunaan istilah bahasa Inggris pada konteks gim.

Code switching can be found in many countries where language contact is involved. The Netherlands is one of those countries and it is very open to English. Code switching from Dutch to English is often discovered generally in the Dutch society and also on the channels of Dutch youtubers. This article discusses the code switching found in the Youtube channel EnzoKnol, specifically in the vlog lsquo Doe normaal man ndash ENZOKNOL VLOG 1313 rsquo and the game video lsquo HIDE SEEK HACKER rsquo . The objective of the research is to explain the types and functions of the code switsching discovered in the videos. Qualitative research method is used in this article with the help of quantitative method. Based on data analysis, the most frequent type and function of code switching found in the videos are intra sentential switches and expressive function. Other reasons that stimulated the code switching are the emotional situation and the common terms of English used in the context of video game."
