"Pada sistem tenaga listrik kualitas dari suatu bahan isolasi merupakan hal yang sangat penting demi menjaga kinerja dari peralatan listrik. GIS merupakan salah satu peralatan listrik yang menggunakan gas SF6 sebagai media isolasi. Kualitas dari gas SF6 dapat mengalami penurunan yang disebabkan oleh berbagai faktor. Maka dibutuhkan analisis dan pengetahuan terhadap indikator – indikator kualitas gas SF6, yang dapat dilihat pada nilai kemurnian, titik embun dan kadar uap air. Pada GIS Pegangsaan memiliki indikator kualitas yang buruk pada bagian kompartemen, dengan nilai kemurnian di kompartemen PMS 1, PMS 2, terminasi; dengan nilai kadar uap air di kompartemen terminasi. Pada bagian bay, dengan nilai kemurnian di bay trafo 1 (PMS 1, PMS 2, terminasi), bay trafo 2 (PMS 1, PMS 2, terminasi), dan bay trafo 3 (PMS 1, PMS 2, terminasi); dengan nilai kadar uap air di bay trafo 1 (terminasi) dan bay trafo 3 (PMT, PMS 1, PMS 2, terminasi); dengan nilai titik embun di bay trafo 3 (PMT, PMS 1, PMS 2). Pada GIS Marunda memiliki indikator kualitas yang buruk pada bagian kompartemen, dengan nilai kadar uap air di kompartemen terminasi. Pada bagian bay, dengan nilai kadar uap air di bay trafo 1 (terminasi). Oleh karena itu, perlu dilakukan penggantian absorbent dan reklamasi pada bay trafo 1 dan bay trafo 3 di GIS Pegangsaan, serta pada bay trafo 1 di GIS Marunda. Selain itu, perlu dilakukan pengukuran peluahan sebagian (partial discharge) dan reklamasi pada bay trafo 2 dan bay trafo 3 di GIS Pegangsaan. Serta penggantian absorbent dan reklamasi pada setiap kompartemen yang memiliki kemurnian dan kadar uap air yang buruk.

On GIS Marunda have a poor quality in the compartment, with the value of moisture content at termination compartment. In the bay, with the value of moisture content at bay transformer 1 (termination). Therefore, its necessary to replacement the absorbent and reclaimed SF6 gas at the bay transformer 1 and bay transformer 3 in GIS Pegangsaan, and bay transformer 1 in GIS Marunda. In addition, it is necessary to measure the partial discharge and reclaimed SF6 gas at bay transformers 2 and bay transformers 3 in GIS Pegangsaan. And replacement absorbent and reclaimed SF6 gas on every compartment which has a poor quality in purity and moisture content."
