ABSTRACT
This study aims to study the effect of personality factor of conscientiousness, personality factor of extraversion, and environmental factor of competition to group decision quality. Based on Big Five personality test, 240 undergraduate students consists of 175 girls and 65 boys were divided into 80 groups with each group consists of 3 people. 80 groups then divided into two groups of competition and non competition. In each of the 40 groups there are 10 group of high conscientiousness, low conscientiousness, extrovert, and introvert participants. The approach of this study is experimental with randomized between group design. Given to these groups is a task to make group decision in two setting variations, with and without competition. The groups receive the information through hidden profile distribution mechanism, where only one of the three group member gets the key information. Exact logistic regression results show that high conscientiousness personality characteristic increase the likelihood of a group to produce bad decisions. But extraversion personality characteristic and competition do not affect group decision quality. Statistical testing also found an interaction effect of conscientiousness and competition on the quality of group decisions. The probability of producing poor group decision will increase when high conscientiousness group are under competition situation. The implication of this research is that in order to put rdquo;the right person in the right place rdquo;, the organization must consider the personality factor conscientiousness in recruitment, placement, formulating team and training. In addition, organizations must create conducive environment to improve the quality of meetings within the organization."

The popularity of social commerce lead to consumer's dependence on the shopping experience of other consumers. The exchange of informational and emotional support encourages the interaction among users hence trust plays an important role on social commerce. This study was conducted to determine the effect of social support (emotional and informational support) on trust and its impact on intention to purchase to actual purchases made by users. This study examines trust in social commerce from a trust-transfer perspective where trust-transfer occurs from members to platform and from platform to seller. The respondents of this study are consumers who have done transactions through social commerce. Data was collected using an online survey which was distributed via social media. A total of 1,366 valid data were collected and processed with CB-SEM method using AMOS 24.0 program. The result shows that informational support has significant effect on trust towards members and trust towards sellers and emotional support on trust towards members. However, emotional support has no significant effect on trust towards seller. This research also found that trust-transfer was occurred from members to the platform and from the platform to the seller. In addition, trust has a significant effect on intention to purchase which also has a significant effect on actual purchases. "

This study discusses several factors that affect the access to finance among micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia. The study utilizes secondary data from World Bank Enterprise Survey and involved 881 MSMEs from nine provinces in Indonesia as the research sample. The hypothesis testing regarding the determinants of obtaining access to external finance is carried out using the binary logistic regression and cross section data. The results of this study indicate that the financial statements lending, the provision of collateral, firm age, firm revenues, and firm ownership significantly influence access to external finance of Indonesian MSMEs. This study also discusses the implications of the results both for policy makers, industry players, and academics."

"The increasing complexity of financial problems and the enormous volume of financial data often make it difficult to apply traditional modeling and algorithmic procedures. In this context, the field of computational intelligence provides an arsenal of particularly useful techniques. These techniques include new modeling tools for decision making under risk and uncertainty, data mining techniques for analyzing complex data bases, and powerful algorithms for complex optimization problems. Computational intelligence has also evolved rapidly over the past few years and it is now one of the most active fields in operations research and computer science. This volume presents the recent advances of the use of computation intelligence in financial decision making. The book covers all the major areas of computational intelligence and a wide range of problems in finance, such as portfolio optimization, credit risk analysis, asset valuation, financial forecasting, and trading."
