"ABSTRAK
Tesis ini membahas mengenai kewajiban pustakawan di Perpustakaan UIN Alauddin Makassar terhadap profesinya yang diwujudkan dalam riset, reformasi dan hormat terhadap profesi. Tujuan diadakan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis kewajiban pustakawan di Perpustakaan UIN Alauddin Makassar terhadap profesinya. Adapun pendekatan yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian studi kasus. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi langsung, wawancara mendalam, dan analisis dokumen terkait kewajiban pustakawan di Perpustakaan UIN Alauddin Makassar terhadap profesinya. Hasil temuan pada penelitian ini adalah kewajiban pustakawan di Perpustakaan UIN Alauddin Makassar terhadap profesinya diwujudkan dalam riset, reformasi dan hormat terhadap profesi. Kegiatan riset di UIN Alauddin Makassar tidak terlihat signifikan. Reformasi di lingkungan pustakawan UIN Alauddin Makassar mencakup berbagai usulan seperti peningkatan mutu layanan perpustakaan, koleksi, dan minat pemustaka untuk berkunjung ke perpustakaan. Marwah profesi sebagai hal penting yang harus dijaga, diwujudkan oleh pustakawan di Perpustakaan UIN Alauddin Makassar melalui kepatuhan mereka terhadap kode etik pustakawan yang dijadikan acuan dalam melaksanakan pekerjaan sehari-hari.

ABSTRACT
This thesis discusses about the librarian 39 s obligations at UIN Alauddin Makassar Library to the profession which is realized in research, reformation and respect for the profession. The purpose of this research is to identify and analyze the obligations of librarians at UIN Alauddin Makassar Library to the profession. The approach used in this research is a qualitative approach with case study research. The data was collected by direct observation, in depth interview, and document analysis related to librarian 39 s obligations at UIN Alauddin Makassar Library to the profession. The results of this research are the obligations of librarians at UIN Alauddin Makassar Library to the profession embodied in research, reform and respect for the profession. Research activities at UIN Alauddin Makassar do not look significant. Reforms within UIN Alauddin Makassar librarians include various proposals such as improving the quality of libraries, collections and interests of the librarian to visit the library. Respect for the profession as the important thing to be maintained, manifested by librarians at UIN Alauddin Makassar Library through their compliance with the code of ethics librarians used as a reference in carrying out daily work."

"Skripsi ini membahas mengenai pemaknaan pustakawan di Perpustakaan The Japan Foundation Jakarta terhadap penyalahgunaan koleksi di perpustakaan meliputi vandalisme, mutilasi, peminjaman tidak sah dan pencurian. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan desain deskriptif. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode studi kasus.
Hasil penelitian ini yaitu pustakawan memaknai penyalahgunaan koleksi sebagai tindakan yang menyimpang. Penyalahgunaan koleksi juga merupakan suatu kerugian bukan hanya bagi perpustakaan tetapi juga bagi pengguna perpustakaan.

The focus of this study is the meaning of the librarians at The Japan Foundation's Library, Jakarta against abuse of library materials including vandalism, mutilation, theft and unauthorized borrowing. This research is qualitative descriptive interpretive.The method used is the case study method.
The results of this research is librarians meaning of the abuse of library material as a deviant act. Abuse of library materials is also a loss, not only for libraries but also for library users.

"[Skripsi ini menggambarkan bagaimana Jabatan Fungsional Pustakawan dipahami
dan diterapkan oleh pustakawan di Pusat Perpustakaan UIN Syarif Hidayatullah
Jakarta, serta mencari tahu apa saja kendala yang dihadapinya. Penelitian ini
menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Teknik
pengambilan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara, observasi, dan studi
literatur. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Maret-Juni 2015 di Pusat Perpustakaan
UIN Jakarta. Hasil penelitian menjelaskan bahwa pustakawan Pusat Perpustakaan
UIN Jakarta belum memahami secara menyeluruh mengenai Jabatan Fungsional
Pustakawan. Meskipun begitu, pihak perpustakaan telah mendukung penerapan
Jabatan Fungsional Pustakawan tersebut dengan beberapa cara. Namun, dalam

"Penelitian ini membahas mengenai persepsi pustakawan terhadap kegiatan layanan sirkulasi dan layanan rujukan dengan fenomena di Perpustakaan Universitas Indonesia. Penelitian ini merupakan perefleksian diri pustakawan. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan metode penelitian studi kasus. Tujuan penelitian ini, yaitu untuk mengidentifikasi bagaimana kegiatan layanan sirkulasi dan layanan rujukan sebagaimana yang di persepsikan oleh pustakawan itu sendiri. Lalu, menganalisis kendala yang dihadapi pustakawan dan usaha yang telah dilakukan dan yang harus dilakukan dari sudut pandang pustakawan itu sendiri. Hasil penelitian ini adalah pustakawan dapat memahami masalah, apa yang harus dilakukannya, pentingnya kegiatan layanan sirkulasi dan layanan rujukan di perpustakaan. Terdapat perbedaan di setiap persepsi pustakawan, yaitu antara pimpinan dengan pelaksana. Pustakawan sudah memaksimalkan pekerjaan mereka namun banyak kendala yang dipengaruhi oleh faktor dari luar diri mereka sendiri.

This research describes perception of librarians on activities of circulation services and reference services with the phenomenon in the Library of the University of Indonesia. This research talks about self-reflection of librarians. This research is qualitative research with study case method. The objectives of this research are to identify how the activities of circulation services and reference services as perceived by librarians in themselves. Then, analyzing the constraints faced by librarians and efforts that has been done and what should be done from the perspective of librarians. The results of this research are librarians can understand the problem, what to do, the importance of activities of circulation services and reference services in the library. There are differences in every perception of librarians, between leaders and implementers. Librarians are maximizing their jobs, but a lot of obstacles are influenced by some factors outside themselves."

"Tesis ini membahas aksesibilitas perpustakaan perguruan tinggi di lingkungan Universitas Indonesia dan Universitas Islam Negeri Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta terhadap penyandang disabilitas dalam konteks right based model. Penelitian ini mengunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan disain deskriptif Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui tingkat aksesibilitas perpustakaan perguruan tinggi dalam melayani penyandang cacat, juga untuk mengetahui pola pemanfaatannya serta kebijakan yang dibuat oleh pemegng kebijakan terkait dengan persoalan ini. Data diambil melalui wawancara, observasi dan analisis dokumen. Hasil penelitian mengusulkan agar perpustakaan perguruan tinggi lebih menyediakan akses yang lebih baik lagi dengan menyediakan sarana dan fasilitas yang mendukung aksesibilitas yang adaptable terhadap penyandang disabilitas.

The focus of this research was related to tlie accessibility of the tertiary institution library in served disabled person. The problem disabilities in this case were canried out by using the paradigm approach right based model. The aim of this research of knowing the level accessibility the tertiary institution library in serving the invalid, to know the pattem of the utilization of the library by them, and the policy that was made by stake holder was related to the problem disabilities. This research is qualitative descriptive interpretive. The data were collected by means of deep interview. The researcher proposed the library better improve the accessibility for disabled person that is by providing appropriate facilities with the condition disabilities, also provided technology that adaptive with them."

"Telah dilakukan penelitian pengaruh mutu layanan terhadap kepuasan pemustaka di perpustakaan Pusat UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang. Rumusan masalah penelitian adalah bagaimana pengaruh mutu layanan terhadap kepuasan pemustaka di Perpustakaan Pusat UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat mutu layanan, tingkat kepuasan pemustaka, dan pengaruh mutu layanan terhadap kepuasan pemustaka untuk mewujudkan layanan perpustakaan bermutu dan memuaskan.
Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei berbasis kuesioner. Sampel sejumlah 99 responden diambil dari populasi dengan tehnik Simple Random Sampling. Variabel bebas penelitian adalah dimensi berwujud, reliabilitas, daya tanggap, jaminan dan empati, sedangkan variabel terikatnya adalah kepuasan pemustaka. Data penelitian diperoleh dari responden menggunakan kuesioner berskala Likert. Analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis regresi berganda dengan bantuan program SPSS Ver.16.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tingkat mutu layanan Perpustakaan lebih dominan pada penilaian baik, tingkat kepuasan pemustaka lebih dominan pada penilaian puas, dan adanya pengaruh positif dan signifikan dimensi mutu layanan secara bersama-sama terhadap kepuasan pemustaka. Secara parsial, dimensi empati merupakan dimensi mutu layanan yang paling berpengaruh terhadap kepuasan pemustaka dibandingkan dimensi mutu layanan lainnya. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa dimensi mutu layanan menjadi faktor penentu dalam memberikan kepuasan pemustaka.

This research is about influence of service quality on State Islamic University of Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang library customer satisfaction. The research questions were how quality service influenced State Islamic University of Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang library customer satisfaction. The aims of the research were to analize the level of quality service, to analize the level of customer satisfaction and to analize the influence of service quality on customer satisfaction to contribute to the effort of enhancing library quality service and satisfaction.
The research employed quantitative approach, survey method for data gathering, and questionnaire as research instrument. The 99 research respondents were derived using simple random sampling technique. The independent variables of the research are tangibles, reliabilities, responsiveness, assurance and empathy. The dependent one is customer satisfaction. The research data were derived from the respondent using Likert scale questionnaire. Then, the data were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis and SPSS Ver.16.
The finding indicates that the level of service quality is considered good, the level of customer satisfaction is considered satisfied and there is positive and significant influence of service quality simultaneously on customer satisfaction. Partially, empathy, one of the service quality dimensions, has the greatest contribution to the customer satisfaction in comparison to the other dimension. This shows that the dimensions of service quality become a major factor in providing customer satisfaction.

"Skripsi ini berfokus kepada peran pustakawan, serta kendala yang dihadapi oleh pustakawan dalam renovasi gedung perpustakaan Unika Atma Jaya Jakarta. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus serta menggunakan wawancara dan observasi sebagai teknik penelitian. Hasil dari penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa pustakawan hanya berperan sebagai pemberi masukan dan tidak berperan aktif dalam tahap-tahap renovasi gedung perpustakaan Unika Atma Jaya Jakarta. Kendala yang dihadapi adalah kendala komunikasi diantara pihak yang bersangkutan.

This research focused on the librarian?s role as well as the constraints faced by librarians in renovation of library building at the Unika Atma Jaya library. This research is a qualitative research with a case study method and using interviews and observation as research techniques. The result of this research shows that the librarian would only serve as an adviser and do not play an active role in the stages of the renovation of the library building . The obstacles encountered was communication problems between concerned parties."

"Skripsi ini membahas mengenai persepsi pustakawan di Perpustakaan Universitas Indonesia terhadap Kode Etik Pustakawan Indonesia terkait dengan pemahaman dan implementasi kode etik pustakawan pada perilaku pustakawan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode fenomenologi. Hasil dari penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa sebagian besar perilaku pustakawan di Perpustakaan Universitas Indonesia sudah mencerminkan implementasi dari kode etik pustakawan walaupun para pustakawan kurang memahami isi kode etik pustakawan secara tekstual.

This thesis discusses the perceptions of librarians at the Library of the University of Indonesia towards Indonesian Librarian Code of Ethic related to the understanding and implementation of code of ethic on librarian behavior. This study uses a qualitative approach to the phenomenolgy method. The results of this study conclude that most of the librarians' behavior at the Library of the University of Indonesia have already reflected the implementation of code of ethic even though the librarians do not understand enough the content of code of ethic textually."

"Skripsi ini membahas proses peningkatan minat baca melalui pemberian penghargaan yang meliputi seleksi siswa, pengadaan buku untuk hadiah, dan piagam serta waktu penyerahan penghargaan di perpustakaan MP UIN. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus. Hasil penelitian menyarankan bahwa proses seleksi siswa diperketat dengan menanyakan isi dan pesan atau nilai yang terkandung dalam buku. Staf perpustakaan dalam melakukan pengadaan buku untuk hadiah perlu bekerjasama dengan staf sirkulasi. Waktu penyerahan penghargaan juga dilakukan kembali saat upacara.

This undergraduate thesis is studying about process of reading interest by award cover student selection, book stock as reward, charter stock and award surrender time at MP UIN library. The purpose of this study is to understanding process of reading interest by award in MP UIN library. This research is qualitative case studies. The data were collected by means of deep interview and observation. The researcher suggests that selection process must be tight by asking contents of book."
