"ABSTRACT
Litter productivity of forests within Cibodas Botanical Gardens area was 9510.04 ton/ha/year with the largest litter composition derived from leaves and then followed by stems and twigs, barks, fine litter, fruits and flowers respectively. There were totally 89 species of leaf litter consisting trees, shrubs, herbs, epiphytes, ferns and mosses found in Cibodas Botanical Garden forests. Leaf Utter was dominated by Altingia excelsa and then followed by Ficus involucrata, Villebrunea rubescens and Neonauclea lanceolata respectively. Flowers and fruits litter productivity data were representation of plant phenology."

"ABSTRACT
Inventory of plant species was conducted in area surrounding Wamena Biologi Botanic Gardens in 2013. Observation and interview, completed with literature study was carried out to enrich our understanding about these species utilisation by local community. This study found 28 species grew in the surrounding area of Wamena Biologi Botanic Garden was utilized by local community in Wamena as foods, fuel, crafts and daily tools, house and fence construction, traditional medicines and antiseptics as well as ornamental plants."

"The genus Huperzia is an epiphitic fern of the family lycopodiaceae which has potential value as an ornamental plant. However, information on its usage, cultivation, and conservation aspects are still limited. Bogor Botanic Garden as an ex-situ conservation institution plays an important role in conserving the genus. Exploration activities have been done in many places in Indonesia. Until now, Bogor Botanic Garden has collected several specimens from North and West Sumatra and Maluku."

Syzgium pycnanthum belongs to Myrtaceae family. This species is potential for oranmental plant because the flower and the fruit are very attractive and also the canopy structure looks interesting, especially for garden plant. This is climber plant and become weed in Bogor Botanical Garden because their population growing very fast and invasive to other plant collection. "ABSTRAK
Gaharu is a fragrant wood that has been used in religious, medicinal and aromatic properties. Six genera (24 species) of the family Thymelaeaceae (Aetoxylon, Aquilaria, Enkleia, Gyrunops, Gonystylus, Gyrinops, and Gonystylus (9 species) are cultivated in the Bogor Botanical Garden. All species og Aquilaria and Gyrinops were listed in appendix II of the CITES. "

Besides reputed for its beauty, Paphiopedilum is recognized as rare orchids due to intensive destruction of its habitat. Propagation of Indonesian Paphiopedilum had been conducted at Bogor Botanic Garden. Strong, healthy plantlet of Paphiopedilum glaucophyllum, P. superbiens, and P. primunilum were derived from seeds sown on 0.8 Knudson-C medium. "

"ABSTRAK
Organic waste matter is a basic material for compost production. Compost can be made from fallen leafes which are produced from abscission metabolism plant. Bogor Botanical Garden has a compost processor unit that can be used to grind litter leaves from the garden. There are three main step that are collecting litter leaves, fermenting, and filtering. Composting metode is applied in two different condition that are aerob and anaerob. Compost organic mature is used to fertilize plant collection in the garden including nursery, reintroduction, plat selling and ecopark. Quality of compost in Bogor Botanical Garden is under standard and its capacity is not sufficient to support for each unit needs. Technical composting process in Bogor Botanical Garden is presented in this article."

"Amorphophallus borneensis is endemic species from Kalimantan, belongs to the Araceae family. It is included as one of the giant Amorphophallus. This species is indicated by the unique pattern of the petiole and peduncle which resembles the comple patterns of lihen on the stem. The distribution of A. Borneensis was only known from soutern of Kalimantan. The new localities have been found during Kebun Raya exploration in Central and East Kalimantan."
