"Childrens development of executive functions and the impact of these cognitive processes on childrens lives from the preschool to the upper elementary school years are reviewed in light of current research findings. Chapters in Part One of the text discuss prefrontal brain networks affiliated with executive functions; issues that concern the behavioral measurement of executive functions in clinical populations; the relationship between executive functions and other cognitive (theory of mind) and language processes (plurilingualism) that are emerging in young children; and how executive functions support the transition of children from home to school contexts. Chapters in Part Two of the book focus on individual differences in executive functions among children with disorders such as ASD and ADHD and how these findings can be used to inform intervention. Throughout the text, a focus is placed on exploring the influence of executive functioning on the lives of children at home as well as in school and community contexts."

dilakukan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pretest and post-test design. Peneliti
(p<0,05).

Abstract
The objective of the research is to observe effectiveness of the Mediated Learning
Experience (MLE) technique in increasing interaction the caregiver with children
aged 24-36 months during dressed activity. The study employed pre-test and posttest
design. The data on the subject (i.e. caregiver) was taken twice, i.e. before
and after training by observation method. Training was conducted through
several methods comprising lecture, discussion, brainstorming and role play. The
findings indicated that MLE technique was effective in increasing quality of
interaction between caregiver and children aged 24 - 36 months during dressed
activity. Statistical Wilcoxon Signed-Ranks Test showed significant difference
from the pre-test and post-test scores by the value of p = 0,039 (p<0,05)."

ABSTRACT
This study aims to increase emotion regulation in 9 years old child using Resource
Developmental and Installation (RDI) technique as a psychological stabilization phase.
The study was done in a total of 4 sessions with each session runs for more or less 60
minutes. RDI technique served as activating agent in order to activate positive resources
and develop a sense of security. The results is show that participant was able to
successfully develop a sense of security and positive resource. Participant indicates
behavioral changes that were reflected in the Child Behavioral Checklist (CBCL),
interview and observation, and aggression scale scores pre and post intervention."

This study aims to know whether drawing acts as emotion regulation strategy for Papuan children who are attending school away from home, by looking at the effect of drawing to distract in changing their emotional valence, considering their respective age groups and drawing preference. Forty children aged 10-15 randomly assigned to two groups, free-hand drawing (n=23) and copying shapes (n=22), were first given negative mood induction by asking them to recall a negative experience before completing drawing task. Results showed that emotional valence was changed significantly in the free-hand drawing group more than the copying shapes group (F(1,43) = 6,237; p < 0,05; one-tailed). Age group did not have an effect on the change (F(1,41) = 0,741; p > 0,05), so was drawing preference (F(2,42) = 3,805; p > 0,05; R2 = 0,005). Compared to the copying shapes group, emotional valence of the free-hand drawing group increased more and they also found more enjoyment in the task, for freedom to create is able to elevate individual?s emotional valence positively, without any differences found between age groups and level of drawing preference. Subsequently, based upon the collected data, the grouping of Papuan children?s artistic development and the themes found in their stories are discussed."
