"ABSTRAKPenelitian ini dilakukan untuk menganalisis peranan kewirausahaan dalam pertumbuhan ekonomi regional di Indonesia untuk periode waktu 2008-2013. Analisis dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode estimasi panel data dengan pendekatan efek tetap. Pada penelitian ini penulis menggunakan self employment rate dari wirausaha total, wirausaha formal, wirausaha informal, wirausaha formal di sektor manufaktur, wirausaha formal di sektor konstruksi, dan wirausaha formal di sektor perdagangan, rumah makan dan jasa akomodasi, serta business ownership rate dari wajib pajak badan dan jumlah industri besar sedang di sektor manufaktur. Hasil estimasi menunjukkan bahwa kewirausahaan berdampak positif dan signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi regional di Indonesia dan masing-masing pengukuran produktivitas kewirausahaan juga memiliki pengaruh yang berbeda terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi di Indonesia. Hal ini disebabkan karena kewirausahaan berperan dalam mekanisme knowledge spillover.

ABSTRACT

This research is aimed to analyze the role of entrepreneurship in regional economic growth in Indonesia for time period of 2008-2013. Analysis is done by using fix effect panel data estimation method. In this research the author uses self-employment rate from total entrepreneur, formal entrepreneur (manufacturing sector, construction sector and trade, restaurant, and service sector) and informal entrepreneur, also business ownership rate from corporates tax payer and large and medium industry from manufacturing sector. The estimation results showed that entrepreneurship has a positive and significant impact to the Indonesian regional economic growth, and each of the entrepreneurship productivity measurement has a different influence to the economic growth. This is caused by the role of the entrepreneurship in facilitating the knowledge spillover mechanism."

Ukuran dari entrepreneurship menggunakan konsep dan definisi dari Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) yang diterapkan pada data Survei Angkatan Kerja Nasional (Sakernas) dari Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS). ABSTRACTThis study aims to determine the role of entrepreneurship on economic growth in Indonesia by using a regency/municipality level analysis unit. The size of entrepreneurship uses the concepts and definitions of the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) which is applied to National Labor Force Survey (Sakernas) data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS). The empirical method uses panel data regression with fixed effect models and the period 2013-2018. The results of the study show that entrepreneurship of different sizes will have different effects on economic growth. Nascent entrepreneurship has not had an impact on economic growth, while the Owner manager of a new business and Total Early Stage Entrepreneurship Activity has a positive impact on economic growth."

"[ABSTRAKMakalah ini menyelidiki apakah kualitas tata kelola (governance)pemerintahan berkorelasi dengan pembangunan ekonomi di tingkat Kabupaten diIndonesia. Menggunakan analisis cross-sectional, penelitian ini meneliti dampakdari indikator pemerintahan di kabupaten terhadap kinerja ekonomi. Selain itu,metode variabel instrumental digunakan untuk menyelidiki masalah kausalitasantara tata kelola dan pertumbuhan ekonomi. Penelitian ini menggunakan surveiTata Kelola Ekonomi Daerah sebagai variabel untuk tata kelola pemerintahan danjumlah kecamatan sebagai variabel instrumental. Temuan utama penelitian iniadalah bahwa interaksi pemerintah dengan pihak swasta, biaya transaksi dan tatakelola infrastruktur merupakan faktor penting untuk meningkatkan kinerjaekonomi. Penelitian ini juga menemukan indikasi bahwa terdapat hubungan positifdari tata kelola terhadap kinerja ekonomi.
