"Penelitian ini membahas tentang praktik diplomasi publik Jepang dalam melaksanakan sebuah program pertukaran pemuda antara Jepang dengan negara-negara anggota ASEAN bernama JENESYS. JENESYS sebagai alat diplomasi publik Jepang bertujuan untuk memengaruhi opini publik tentang Jepang, sehingga Jepang memiliki reputasi yang baik di kalangan khalayak internasional. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori diplomasi publik abad 21 yang dikemukakan oleh Gyorgy Szondi untuk menganalisis program JENESYS pada tahun 2007 hingga 2014 dengan kegiatan-kegiatan di dalamnya, dan menjelaskan hubungan antara JENESYS dengan nation branding. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif. Dalam penelitian ditemukan bahwa JENESYS berkepentingan untuk mempromosikan budaya Jepang sekaligus memengaruhi publik asing dalam meningkatkan reputasi Jepang.

This study discusses about the practice of Japan 39s public diplomacy in the implementation of JENESYS mdash a youth exchange program between Japan and the member states of ASEAN. JENESYS as a tool of Japanese public diplomacy aims to influence public opinion about Japan, so Japan has a good reputation amongst international audiences. This study uses the 21st century public diplomacy theory pointed out by Gyorgy Szondi in analyzing the JENESYS program from 2007 until 2014 and its activities, and explains the relationship between JENESYS and nation branding. Qualitative descriptive study is the method of this study. The result of this study indicates that JENESYS has a national interest to promote Japanese culture as well as to influence foreign public in enhancing Japan 39s reputation.

"Tesis ini membahas soft power Jepang yang disebarkan melalui tiga soft power currencies dalam program pertukaran pelajar JENESYS (Japan-East Asia Network of Exchange for Students and Youths). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuktikan bahwa ketiga soft power currencies tersebut berhasil meningkatkan citra Jepang di Indonesia. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kuantitatif, dan data dikumpulkan dengan cara in-depth interview. Responden adalah peserta JENESYS yang mengikuti program setelah lulus seleksi. Responden sebanyak 7 orang. Hasil dari penelitian adalah ketiga soft power currencies berhasil meningkatkan citra Jepang di Indonesia melalui program JENESYS, dan adanya kepentingan ekonomi Jepang dibalik meningkatnya citra positif tersebut.

This dissertation discusses Japan's soft power that is spread through three soft power currencies in a student exchange programme named JENESYS (Japan-East Asia Network of Exchange for Students and Youths). The aim of this research is to prove that the three soft power currencies can elevate Japan's image in Indonesia. The research uses quantitative method, and data are collected by using in-depth interview. Respondents are JENESYS's participants that took part in the programme through a selection. There are 7 respondents. The result of the research is that all three soft power currencies has elevated Japan's image in Indonesia through the JENESYS Programme, and that there are Japan?s economic interest behind the elevated image."

"Tesis ini membahas tentang fenomena idol group JKT48 sebagai bagian dari diplomasi publik Cool Japan Jepang yang muncul di Indonesia. Dengan menggunakan nilai-nilai ala Jepang, yang disadur dari sister group mereka yang berada di Jepang, AKB48, JKT48 menemukan popularitasnya di Indonesia. Fans-fans berat JKT48 pun bermunculan di Indonesia. Ini adalah pertanda dari berhasilnya diplomasi publik Cool Japan Jepang di Indonesia. Idol group JKT48 sebagai bagian dari diplomasi publik Jepang di Indonesia dianalisis menggunakan metode studi pustaka dan wawancara. Studi pustaka yang dilakukan sendiri berkenaan dengan diplomasi publik Jepang, soft power dari Joseph Nye, hingga idology dari Patrick Galbraith.

Idol group JKT48 is a part of Japanese?s Public Diplomacy dubbed as the Cool Japan Program. With the Japanese value extracted from their Japanese sister group, AKB48, JKT48 rise into popularity in Indonesia. This is one of the sign on how succesful Japan's Cool Japan diplomacy in Indonesia. The subject was analyzed using literature review and interviews. The literature review includes Joseph Nye's soft power and Patrick Galbraith's idology. This research conclude that the nature of Indonesian people are suitable for Japanese public diplomacy to spread nicely."

"Penelitian ini membahas diplomasi publik kebudayaan yang berkaitan dengan Agama. Republik Islam Iran adalah salah satu negara berdaulat yang melaksanakan diplomasi publik kepercayaan. Di Indonesia, mereka membuka Islamic Cultural Center sebagai suatu bentuk diplomasi publik yang ditujukan bagi diplomasi Indonesia. Sebelum penelitian ini, telah ada penelitian-penelitian tentang diplomasi publik atau kegiatan keagamaan di ICC. Akan tetapi, penelitian ini memberikan kebaruan dengan membahas diplomasi publik dan kegiatan keagamaan yang dikaitkan dengan diplomasi kepercayaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan konsep diplomasi publik, diplomasi kepercayaan, dan teori diplomasi kebudayaan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif. Pengambilan data akan dilaksanakan dengan cara observasi, wawancara, dan kajian literatur. Data yang didapatkan dianalisis menggunakan konsep dan teori yang digunakan. Dari penelitian ini, Islamic Cultural Center menjadi sarana diplomasi Publik Iran di Indonesia dengan kebudayaan yang dikenalkan dan ditekankan adalah Islam Syiah Imammiyah Itsna-Asyariah.

The research discusses a cultural public diplomacy and religion. The Islamic Republic of Iran is one of sovereign states that exercise faith public diplomacy. In Indonesia, they have opened the Islamic Cultural Center as their form of public diplomacy aimed to Indonesian public. The cultural diplomacy theory, with faith diplomacy and new public diplomacy concept are applicable in examining this type of diplomacy. As the result of a careful observation and analysis, some findings of this research are the organisational structure of ICC is directly under the Office of Supreme Leader of Iran or commonly known as the office of Vilayat e Faqih Twelver Shiism is related with ICC through its structure, Shiite educational activities, and religious festivities in spite of its structural position, ICC function as the facilitator between Iran ndash with its Shiisim ndash and Indonesian diverse society, and particularly Indonesian Shia Community. This research uses Qualitative Approach with observation, interview, and literature study methods.

"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana penerima beasiswa sebagai salah satu stakeholder kebijakan luar negeri Tiongkok mempersepsikan diplomasi publik dan citra negara Tiongkok selama pandemi COVID-19. Pertama, diplomasi publik yang dilakukan Tiongkok dalam kerangka informasional dan relasional diidentifikasikan. Diplomasi publik yang dilakukan Tiongkok sebagai alat komunikasi krisis juga akan dilihat melalui Image Repair Theory. Selanjutnya, wawancara mendalam dengan tiga penerima beasiswa dan narasumber ahli dilakukan untuk menganalisis persepsi mereka terkait diplomasi publik dan citra negara Tiongkok selama pandemi COVID-19, di mana citra negara terdiri dari empat aspek; fungsional, estetik, normatif, dan emosional. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Tiongkok telah melakukan networking, messaging, bolstering dan corrective action. Secara informasional, selain dari sumber informasi domestik Tiongkok, informan juga mencari informasi pada media sosial Kedutaan Tiongkok di Indonesia. Secara relasional, vaccine diplomacy dinilai efektif untuk memperbaiki citra negara Tiongkok, walaupun belum dieksploitasi secara maksimal. Dalam persepsi citra negara, hanya tiga aspek yang teridentifikasikan, di mana aspek normative merupakan aspek yang paling menonjol.

This study aims to analyze how scholarship recipients as one of China's foreign policy stakeholders perceive public diplomacy and the country image of China during the COVID-19 pandemic. First, China's public diplomacy in an informational and relational framework is identified. China's public diplomacy as a crisis communication tool will also be seen through the Image Repair Theory. Furthermore, in-depth interviews with three scholarship recipients and expert resource person were conducted to analyze their perceptions regarding public diplomacy and the China’s country image during the COVID-19 pandemic, where country image consists of four aspects; functional, aesthetic, normative, and emotional. The results showed that China had carried out networking, messaging, bolstering, and corrective action. Informationally, apart from Chinese domestic sources of information, informants also seek information on social media of the Chinese Embassy in Indonesia. Relationally, vaccine diplomacy is considered effective in improving the image of the Chinese state, although it has not been exploited to its full potential. Regarding perception of China’s country image, only three aspects were identified, of which the normative aspect is the most prominent aspect"

"ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif jenis deskriptif dengan metode studi kasus, dan menggunakan paradigma postpositivism. Objek penelitian adalah PT. XL. Axiata Tbk. Data diperoleh dari wawancara dan studi pustka. Sedangkan teknik keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi sumber.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perusahaan telekomunikasi telah melakukan tiga strategi marketing public relations yaitu push, pull dan pass. Strategi push tidak signifikan dalam membangun citra. Sedangkan strategi pull cukup berhasil mambangun citra positif produk dengan mengutamakan komunikasi dan hubungan baik kepada publik. Kemudian untuk strategi pass, perusaahan melakukan community relations dan memanfaatkan media sosial guna membentuk opini dan persepsi publik untuk membangun citra produk di mata publik.Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif jenis deskriptif dengan metode studi kasus, dan menggunakan paradigma postpositivism. ABSTRACT
Competition in 4G LTE, have an impact on the company 39 s strategy in the promotion and efforts to build the image of the product. This study uses a Marketing Public Relations as a perspective in investigating the promotional program of product qualiy dan service quality in building the image of the product. The purpose of this study to determine the marketing public relations strategies of the company in building the image of the product.This study used a qualitative approach with descriptive case study method, then the paradigm used is postpositivism. The object of research is PT. XL. Axiata Tbk. Techniques of data collection through interviews and studies Ref. While the validity of the data using a triangulation technique source.The results showed that the telecommunications company has made three marketing public relations strategies that push, pull and pass. Push strategy is not a significant in image building. While the pull strategy was quite successful, builds a positive image of a product with emphasis on communication and good relations between the public and the company. "ABSTRAK
Setelah melewati berbagai krisis, mulai dari kekalahan pada Perang Dunia II hingga krisis ekonomi, saat ini dapat dikatakan Jepang merupakan salah satu negara yang memiliki pengaruh cukup kuat di dunia, terutama di Asia. Hal ini berkaitan dengan produk-produk budaya populer Jepang seperti anime, manga, kuliner hingga fashion yang saat ini menjadi soft power Jepang. Dari produk-produk budaya tersebut kemudian Jepang menyusun sebuah strategi/kebijakan Cool Japan yang digunakan sebagai alat diplomasi budaya. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, tugas akhir ini akan membahas mengenai bagaimana pengaruh yang muncul dari kebijakan Cool Japan. Penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif menggunakan analisis dokumen dan studi literasi. Analisis akan dilakukan dengan menggunakan teori soft power dari Joseph S. Nye dengan memfokuskan pada konsep diplomasi budaya. Konsep diplomasi budaya yang digunakan untuk menganalisis tujuan, bentuk hingga sarana diplomasi budaya yang digunakan oleh Jepang. Berdasarkan data serta analisis yang dilakukan, diplomasi budaya yang digunakan memiliki dampak yang sangat signifikan bagi perkembangan Jepang dalam berbagai sektor seperti pariwisata dan juga memberikan citra yang baik bagi negara Jepang.

ABSTRACT
After suffered from many crisis situations before, from the defeat in World War II, until the crisis economy, now Japan has become one of the countries that has a strong influence in the world, especially in Asia. This is related to Japanese popular culture such as anime, manga, culinary, until fashion which currently has become a Japans soft power. From these cultural products, Japan developed a Cool Japan strategy / policy that was used as a tool for cultural diplomacy. Based on that issues, this final project will discuss how the influence that emerged from Cool Japan policy. The study used qualitative methods using document analysis and literacy studies. The analysis will be carried out using the soft power theory of Joseph S. Nye by focusing on the concept of cultural diplomacy. The concept of cultural diplomacy is used to analyze the purpose, form, and cultural diplomacy tools that Japan used. Based on data and results of analysis, cultural diplomacy that has been used, has a very significant impact on Japans development in various sectors such as tourism and also provides a good image for Japan."

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat objektifikasi yang terjadi pada perempuan penari dalam praktik budaya seni tari Joged Bumbung. Metode yang digunakan adalah etnografi feminis, yang bertujuan untuk melihat operasi gender dan distribusi kekuasaan yang terjadi di dalam masyarakat dan budaya di dalamnya. Ditemukan bahwa perempuan penari dalam kasus ini, terobjektifikasi secara seksual karena adanya sistem budaya patriarki, dan diperparah karena mekanisme pasar kapitalis. Temuan ini kemudian dilihat menggunakan perspektif feminis

perspective as the main theory and socialist feminist perspective as the supporting

"Meningkatnya jumlah investor di Indonesia harus diimbangi dengan perlindungan terhadap investor dari perbuatan curang pihak pihak yang tidak bertanggungjawab, dewasa ini kita dapat melihat di sosial media ada beberapa Public Figure yang rutin membagikan suatu promosi terhadap saham tertentu dilihat dari beberapa harga saham yang di promosikan oleh Public Figure pada saat promosi tersebut dilakukan mengalami kenaikan yang tidak wajar, lain hal di Amerika Serikat Securities Exchange Commission menuntut Andrew Murstein Seorang Pendiri dan Chief Operating Officer dari Medallion Financial Corp karena bersekongkol dengan beberapa pihak untuk mempromosikan saham MFIN, Securities Exchange Commission menuntut Andrew Murstein, karena terbukti melakukan “Illegal Touting”, karena promosi yang di lakukan oleh mereka menciptakan gambaran yang semu karena tidak sesuai dengan fakta material aslinya, untuk menjawab bagaimana menentukan suatu pelanggaran dalam “promosi saham” pada penelitian ini digunakan pendekatan komparatif yang membandingkan pengaturan pasar modal di Indonesia dan Amerika Serikat, hasil dari penelitian ini adalah promosi saham yang dilakukan Andrew Murstein merupakan promosi saham illegal karena menyebarkan informasi yang menyesatkan dan tidak sesuai dengan fakta material aslinya, sedangkan promosi saham yang dilakukan Public Figure melanggar ketentuan POJK No 7 POJK.04/2019 Tentang Promosi Pemasaran Efek Termasuk Iklan Brosur atau Komunikasi Lainnya Kepada Publik.

The increasing number of investors in Indonesia must be balanced with the protection of investors from fraudulent actions by irresponsible parties, nowadays we can see on social media there are Public Figures who routinely share promotions for certain stocks, the stock prices promoted by the Public Figures always experienced an unnatural increase at the time it was promoted, on the other hand in the United States the Securities Exchange Commission sued Andrew Murstein, a Founder and Chief Operating Officer of Medallion Financial Corp, for conspiring with several parties to promote MFIN stock, Securities Exchange Commission sued Andrew Murstein, because committed “Illegal Touting”, because the promotion carried out by them created a false information because it was not in accordance with the original facts, to answer how to determine a violation in “stock promotion” writer used a comparative approach that compares capital market Provisions in Indonesia and the United States, the result of this study is that the stock promotion carried out by Andrew Murstein is illegal because it spreads misleading information and is not in accordance with the original material facts, while the stock promotion carried out by Public Figures violates POJK provisions No 7 POJK.04/2019 Concerning Securities Marketing Promotions Including Brochure Advertisements or Other Communications to the Public."
