Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif analitis. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui bagaimana upaya pelestarian budaya dan sejarah melalui pariwisata di Korean DMZ. Korean DMZ memiliki kekayaan budaya dan sejarah berupa berbagai peninggalan perang serta lingkungan alam yang asri dengan beragam flora dan fauna serta menjadi destinasi wisata yang populer di kalangan wisatawan mancanegara. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pariwisata merupakan motivasi dan sumber dana untuk mengembangkan daerah wisata yang bertujuan untuk melestarikan budaya, sejarah, dan alam.

ABSTRACT<>br>This thesis discusses the preservation of the cultural and historical heritage through tourism in case of the Korean DMZ. The method used is qualitative method with descriptive analytic approach. This study was conducted to determine how the cultural and historical preservation efforts through tourism in the Korean DMZ. Korean DMZ has a rich culture and history in the form of various war relics and beautiful natural environment with diverse flora and fauna as well as being a popular tourism destination among foreign tourists. These results indicate that tourism is the motivation and the resources to develop a tourist area that aims to preserve the culture, history, and nature."

"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi bagaimana representasi visual warisan budaya dan tradisi Jepang melalui medium budaya populer Jepang, khususnya animasi Jepang atau yang lebih dikenal dengan anime, menjadi salah satu upaya oleh Studio Ghibli dalam menginspirasikan pelestarian budaya tradisional Jepang di tengah arus globalisasi dan modernisasi. Penelitian ini akan melakukan analisis terhadap dua film ikonik yang disutradarai oleh Hayao Miyazaki, yaitu "Spirited Away" dan "My Neighbor Totoro" dengan menggunakan teori representasi Stuart Hall untuk melihat penggambaran ikonografi Jepang dalam kedua film tersebut. Peneliti akan menggunakan adegan-adegan yang memiliki ikonografi yang berbeda dari kedua film tersebut dan mengeksplorasi bagaimana representasi tersebut dapat dianggap sebagai warisan budaya Jepang. Melalui pemeriksaan terhadap bagaimana film-film ini menggambarkan elemen-elemen budaya, cerita rakyat, dan nilai-nilai tradisional, peneliti berusaha untuk memahami bagaimana Studio Ghibli dapat berkontribusi terhadap pelestarian dan penafsiran ulang warisan budaya dalam konteks Jepang kontemporer.

This research aims to explore how the visual representation of Japanese cultural heritage and traditions through the medium of Japanese popular culture, especially Japanese animation or better known as anime, is one of the efforts by Studio Ghibli in inspiring the preservation of traditional Japanese culture in the midst of globalization and modernization. This research will analyze two iconic films directed by Hayao Miyazaki, namely "Spirited Away" and "My Neighbor Totoro" by using Stuart Hall's representation theory to see the depiction of Japanese iconography in both films. The researcher will use scenes that have distinct iconography from both films and explore how these representations can be considered Japanese cultural heritage. Through an examination of how these films depict cultural elements, folklore, and traditional values, we seek to understand how Studio Ghibli can contribute to the preservation and reinterpretation of cultural heritage in the contemporary Japanese context."

"Tesis ini membahas tentang konflik kepentingan dalam pemanfaatan kawasan yang terjadi pada zona inti Kawasan Cagar Budaya Muarajambi yang beberapa tahun belakangan ini kondisinya semakin semrawut. Bertumpuknya berbagai macam aktivitas pemanfaatan pada areal zona inti menyebabkan areal ini menerima beban yang cukup berat dan berdampak pada terancamnya pelestarian Cagar Budaya dalam kawasan ini. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini mencoba untuk memetakan konflik kepentingan yang terjadi, mencari inti penyebab konflik dan menemukan kebijakan yang tepat untuk mengurangi konflik kepentingan yang terjadi pada zona inti Kawasan Cagar Budaya Muarajambi. Penelitian yang menggunakan pendekatan mix method ini melakukan dua kegiatan dalam pengumpulan datanya, yaitu berupa wawancara dan pengisian kuisioner oleh para expert. Hasil dari penelitian ini memperlihatkan bahwa model pengelolaan yang masih sepenuhnya dipegang oleh pemerintah saat ini dianggap tidak lagi cocok untuk diterapkan karena akan menimbulkan banyak konflik antarstakeholder. Oleh karena itu perlu dibentuk Badan Pengelola yang bersifat co-management yang mampu menampung berbagai kepentingan stakeholders yang masing-masing memiliki perbedaan sasaran dan tujuan, dengan demikian konflik pemanfaatan pada zona inti Kawasan Cagar Budaya Muarajambi dapat diminimalkan.

This tesis discussed about the conflict of interests in the area utilization that occurred in the core zone of Muarajambi Cultural Heritage Area of which condition has been even more chaotic in these last few years. The accumulation of various utilization activities in the core zone area has caused the area being quite overloaded and has threatened the preservation of the Cultural Heritages in the area. Hence this research attempted to map the occurring conflict of interests, to seek the nucleus cause of the conflict and to find the right policy to lessen the occurring conflict of interests in the core zone of Muarajambi Cultural Heritage Area. The research used mix method approach and carried out two activities in its data collection, namely interviews and questionnaires filled by the experts. The result of this research showed that the management model that was still fully held by the government was currently considered as unsuitable to be applied because it would cause many conflicts among the stakeholders. Therefore a co management natured Management Board needed to be established. This Management Board should be capable to accommodate various interests of the stakeholders, each of whom had different goals and purposes. Hence the utilization conflict in the core zone of Muarajambi Cultural Heritage Area could be minimalized. "

"Skripsi ini membahas bangunan GKI Kwitang ditinjau dari segi arsitektur dan pemugaran dalam rangka pelestarian bangunan cagar budaya. Gereja ini merupakan salah satu bangunan peribadatan peninggalan masa kolonial. Bangunan gereja mengadaptasi gaya arsitektur klasik Eropa dan menyesuaikan dengan iklim di Indonesia. Beberapa bagian bangunan mengalami perubahan seiring dengan perkembangan zaman maka dilakukan penelitian dalam upaya pelestarian. Pada penelitian ini metode yang digunakan terbagi dalam tiga tahap yaitu pengumpulan, pengolahan, dan penafsiran data. Pada tahap pengumpulan dilakukan deskripsi mulai dari bagian luar hingga bagian dalam, kemudian pada tahap pengolahan, hasil deskripsi diolah dengan menganalisa komponen arsitektur dan perubahan beberapa komponen bangunan. Tahap selanjutnya, hasil yang diperoleh ditafsirkan bahwa gaya yang diterapkan pada bangunan GKI Kwitang adalah gaya Art Deco dan Art Nouveau.

This study discusses the building of GKI Kwitang viewed in terms of architecture and restoration in a bid to the preservation of cultural heritage buildings. This church is one of the religious buildings of the colonial era relics. Church building adapting European classical architectural style and adapt to climate in Indonesia. Some parts of the building undergoes changes along with the times then conducted research in preservation efforts.

On the research methods employed are divided into three phases: collection, processing, and interpretation of data. At the stage of gathering is carried out starting from the outside of the description to the inside, then in the stage of processing, the results processed by analyzing the component description of architecture and changes in several components of a building. The next stage, the results obtained are interpreted that the style is applied to the building of GKI Kwitang is Art Deco style and Art Nouveau."
