"ABSTRAKBlack Swan 2010 adalah sebuah film yang mengisahkan perjuangan seorang balerina, Nina Sayers, dalam memainkan peran utama balet Swan Lake, yang mengharuskan sang penari untuk memerankan dua karakter yang berlawanan: White Swan dan Black Swan. Film ini berfokus pada bagaimana Nina menghadapi kesulitan dalam memerankan karakter Black Swan, terutama mengenai konflik batin di dalam dirinya sendiri. Ada berbagai perspektif yang dapat digunakan untuk menganalisis film ini, seperti studi gender dan teori film, namun artikel ini akan menganalisis protagonis dari Black Swan dengan studi psikoanalisis. ABSTRACTBlack Swan 2010 is a movie that depicts the struggle of a ballerina, Nina Sayers, who strives to play the lead role of Swan Lake ballet, which requires the dancer to perform two contrasting characters: the White and the Black Swan. The movie focuses on how Nina encounters hardships in portraying the Black Swan, mainly on the inner conflicts within herself. Several perspectives can be used to analyze this movie, such as gender studies and film theories, but this article will analyze the protagonist with a psychoanalytical study. Even though this movie has been discussed from the perspective of psychoanalysis by a number of scholars, there is no existing research which has studied the main character rsquo;s issue of sexual repression through Freud rsquo;s psychoanalysis. The purpose of this article is to demonstrate how Nina Sayers rsquo; mind is associated with the complication of her sexual repression and how it contributes to her transition from the beginning until the end of the movie. This article will try to trace Nina rsquo;s sexual repression back to the concept of human rsquo;s structure of mind, defense mechanisms, and the splitting of ego. "

"Penulisan skripsi ini difokuskan pada konsep induksi dan teori black swan dalam ranah ekonomi, dimana keduanya mempermasalahkan kebiasaan cara berpikir manusia yang sering menggampangkan kemungkinan (probabilitas). Dalam ekonomi, orang berusaha mengukur tinggi rendahnya probabilitas kejadian dengan menggunakan angka-angka, sehingga dibentuklah sebuah model (modelling) guna memprediksi kondisi masa depan dengan berpijak pada fenomena di masa lampau (past occurence). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelusuran studi literatur dan refleksi kritis terhadap sumber-sumber kepustakaan dari tema yang akan berhubungan dengan pembahasan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah memperlihatkan bahwa induksi sebagai suatu metode, tidak memadai ketika digunakan dalam memproyeksikan fenomena ekonomi di masa depan, sebagai gantinya digunakan prinsip falsifikasi Popper sebagai kriteria penguji untuk mengontrol putusan-putusan ilmiah.

This thesis is focused on the concept of induction and the theory of black swan in the economic realm, where they question the habitual ways of thinking human beings who often oversimplify the possibiity (probability). In economy, people are trying to measure the height of the low probability of occurence with the use of numbers, so it formed a model to predict the future condition rests on the phenomenon of the past (past occurence). This research uses literature search and critical reflection on the literature sources of the themes that would relate to the discussion. The objective of this research was to show that the induction as a method, is insufficiency when used in projecting future economic phenomenon, but instead use Popper's falsification principle as a criterion test to control the scientific decisions."

"Penulisan ini bertujun untuk menganalisis proses identifikasi tokoh Nina Slayers yang berhubungan dengan fenomea psychosis dalam film Black Swan. Nina yang terobsesi dengan karakter Black Swan berusaha untuk menguasai karakter tersebut melalui proses identifikasinya terhadap Lily yang merupakan personifikasi dari Black Swan. Namun demikian, untuk mendapatkan untuk mendapatkan citra Black Swan, Nina harus membuang citra dirinya sebagai White Swan. Hal itu dilakukannya dengan memberontak terhadap kekuasaan ibu. Tekanan psikologis yang dialami Nina kemudian memperparah kondisi psikologis Nina. Kajian mengenai karakter Nina akan dilakukan menggunakan teori psikoanalisis Lacan dengan fokus terhadap mirror stage dan psychosis.

This writing aims to analyze the identification process of the character Nina Slayers, which is related to psychotic phenomenon in Black Swan movie. Nina who is obsessed with the Black Swan, tries to embody the character through her identification with Lily who is the personification of the Black Swan. However, to embody the image of Black Swan, Nina has to dispose of her image as the White Swan. This is done by rebelling to the omniscient mother. Psychological pressure which is experienced by Nina then deteriorates her psychological condition. The analysis of Nina Slayers will be done by using Lacanian psychoanalysis which focuses on the mirror stage and psychosis."

"Eksploitasi tubuh perempuan dalam film bukanlah hal baru untuk dibahas. Tubuh bertindak sebagai teks. Tubuh juga merepresentasikan pernyataan budaya dan harapan. Wanita dihadapkan dengan standard yang tidak realistis mengenai tubuh mereka. Dalam teori Freud (Penis Envy), tubuh perempuan digambarkan sebagai sesuatu yang mengerikan dan menjadi sumber berbahaya yang bisa mengarah neurosis. Makalah ini berpendapat bahwa representasi dari tubuh wanita di film Black Swan (2010) menantang teori Freud. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan menyelidiki bagaimana tubuh dan neurosis terkait memakai teori dari Karen Horney dan teori Bertoltch Brecth. Karakter-karakter yang ada di film ini kurang lebih tidak mengalami neurosis hanya karena tubuh mereka namun karena tekanan dari masyarakat (perempuan dituntut untuk bersikap pasif secara seksual di depan umum dan aktif di ruang privat). Kesimpulannya, tubuh perempuan bukan sesuatu yang mengerikan dan neurosis yang mereka alami lebih mungkin terjadi karena faktor luar seperti ide dari ideal yang dianut masyarakat.

The exploitation of women’s body in film is not a new thing to be discussed. Body acts as a text. It employs a cultural statement and expectation. Women are expected with unrealistic demand regarding their body. In Freud’s theory (Penis Envy), women’s body is depicted as monstrous and becomes a dangerous source of neurosis. This paper argues that the representation of the female body in Black Swan (2010) challenges the theory of Freud. This is proven by investigating how the body and neurosis are related in regard to Karen Horney's theory and Bertoltch Brecth's theory. The characters more or less do not experience neurosis only due to their body but due to society’s pressure(women are required to be sexually passive in public and active in private). This is also seen in the body movement against the surrounding. In conclusion, women’s body is not monstrous and the neurosis they experienced is more likely to happen due to outside factor such as society’s expectation."

Antifragile is a quality-based approach that tries to assess system vulnerability to determinate if the system concerned had a fragile, robust, or antifragile as quality. The purpose of this article is to introduce the concept of antifragile as a respond to the black swan using asymmetry and non-linearity. Further elaboration of this view is expected to show that there are two shortcomings within the said approach. First shortfall concerned with a difficulty to determinate the quality of system related to the type of black swan perceived. The second shortfall is showed by point a contradiction between antifragile idea and concept of black swan within Taleb previous discourse."
