"ABSTRAKDelivery of pharmacological doses of proteins to people has raised concerns of inducing immune responses, especially when the protein is provided in multiple doses over an extended period of time. Immune responses could impact the therapeutic exposure and efficacy of the protein itself. In addition, there have been fears of anaphylaxis or autoimmunity. This review summarizes the available literature regarding the measurement and evaluation of immune responses observed during clinical assessment of recombinant human proteins. Immune responses have ranged from none at all to inactivation and/or accelerated clearance. Presence of antibodies does not necessarily impact therapeutic viability. While responses are related to frequency and route of delivery, there is no clear relationship that enables one to predict the clinical experience. "

"The five-toed jerboas of genus Allactaga Cuvier, 1837 have been distributed in arid and semi-desert regions throughout northern Africa, Iranian Plateau and Central Asia to Mongolia. This genus has 12 species of which five have been so Jerboa (A. williamsi), Euphrate's Jarboa (A. eupharica); Hotson's Jerboa (A. hotsoni) and Firouz Jarboa (A. firouzi). The Toussi Jerboa (Allactaga toussi sp. Nov) is reported for the first time from the steppe regions of north east Iran. This new species if different in external, cranial and molars morphological and morpjometric characteristics from its parapatric species i.e. Allactaga elater, and other Iranian five-toed jerboas. Multivariate analyses also confirm that Allactaga toussi sp. nov. is significantly distinct from other species."

"The purpose of this presentation is to share the theoretical framework of our collaborative research entitled "Migrant Networks as a Survival Strategy for Minorities in the Global Transborder Migration of Minorities in Mainland Southeast Asia".Our multidisciplinary research group aims to determine how globalization affects the life course of minorities by focusing on the extension of their transborder migration networks. This three-year project comment in June 2012 and is scheduled to end in January 2015. The research group consists of five researches: Prof. Masami Fujimaki (Japan), Dr. Nisakorn Klanarong (Thailand), Dr. Suttiporn Bunmak (Thailand), Dr. Mala Rajo Sathian (Malaysia), and Kayoko Ishii (Japan), who is the group's organizer."
