"ABSTRAKJurnal ini membahas tentang ?? Ch ng 39; , sebagai mitos dewi bulan dalam mitologi Cina. Dewi bulan merupakan salah satu dari sekian banyak dewi yang dipercaya oleh masyarakat Cina. Dalam mitos Cina, Chang rsquo;E dikisahkan sebagai manusia biasa yang terbang ke bulan setelah meminum obat keabadian. Malam pertengahan musim gugur dianggap sebagai malam dengan bulan purnama paling terang sepanjang tahun. Oleh karena itu, setiap tahun pada pertengahan musim gugur selalu dilakukan pemujaan pada dewi bulan. Pemujaan tersebut diwariskan secara turun-temurun sejak masa dinasti, sehingga saat ini sudah menjadi tradisi dalam masyarakat Cina. Pemujaan dewi bulan dilakukan karena dipercaya dapat membawa kemakmuran.

ABSTRACTThis journal examines the myth of Chang rsquo E as moon goddess in Chinese mythology. Moon Goddess is one of the Goddesess that is worshipped by most of Chinese people. In Chinese mythology, Chang 39 E was a human who flew to the moon after drinking the immortal elixir. A full moon night in the Mid Autumn is believed to be the brightest full moon among others. Therefore, every full moon night in the Mid Autumn, Chinese people always do a ritual in order to worship Moon Goddess. The ritual is done from generation to generation since the dynasty period in China, hence it is already become a tradition among Chinese people. These days, this ritual is still done by many people because they believe that it can bring prosperity to their life. "

"ABSTRAK Film adalah salah satu dari banyak sarana komunikasi masyarakat yang digunakan untukmenyampaikan pesan melalui simbol-simbol yang ada di dalam film. Film juga seringdijadikan sebagai sarana untuk melestarikan budaya, legenda, dan mitologi yang dimiliki dandipercayai oleh masyarakat tertentu. Film The Sorcerer and The White Snake adalah salahsatu film yang menjadi visualisasi dari legenda ular putih yang ceritanya telah begitu terkenal,baik di kalangan orang Cina hingga orang luar Cina. Melalui pendekatan semiotik, penulisanjurnal ini bermaksud untuk menjelaskan dan menganalisis simbol tokoh ular putih yangmerupakan tokoh utama dalam film ini dan kaitannya dengan mitologi dan kepercayaan Cina. "Makalah ini membahas tentang peran Dewa Dapur dalam kehidupan kaum Tionghoa. Dewa dapur merupakan salah satu dari sekian banyak dewa yang dipercaya oleh masyarakat Cina. Dewa Dapur memiliki peranan yang penting dalam kehidupan mereka. Dewa dapur dipercaya sebagai penentu kemakmuran sebuah keluarga. Oleh karena itu setiap tahun selalu diadakan pemujaan kepada dewa dapur. Kepercayaan ini diwariskan secara turun-temurun oleh masyarakat Cina dari jaman dinasti hingga masa kini. Begitu pula dengan kaum Tionghoa di Indonesia yang masih memegang teguh tradisi dan kepercayaan leluhur mereka. Mereka percaya bahwa warisan leluhur tersebut harus terus dilestarikan. Oleh karena itu hingga saat ini di antara mereka masih ada yang percaya dan terus melakukan ritual pemujaan terhadap Dewa Dapur.

This paper discussed about the role of Kitchen God in the life of the Tionghoa people. Kitchen God is one of the many gods are believed by the Chinese people. Kitchen God has an important role in their lives. Kitchen God believed to be the determinant of a prosperous family. Therefore the ritual worship of Kitchen God always held every year. This belief passed down through the generations by the people of China from dynasty period to the present time. Similarly, Tionghoa people in Indonesia who still adhere to the traditions and beliefs of their ancestors. They believe that the heritage should continue to be preserved. Therefore to this day among them there are those who believe and continue to perform the ritual worship of the Kitchen God."

"ABSTRAKTujuan penulisan skripsi ini adalah untuk mengungkapkan dengan lebih jelas lagi tentang seorang tokoh se_jarah Cina Zheng Ho dalam kaitannya dengan sejarah hu_bungan Cina-Indonesia. Zheng Ho adalah seorang kasim sekaligus pelayar dan navigator yang paling terkenal dalam sejarah kedi_nastian Cina. Semasa hidupnya (1371-1434), laksamana dari Yunnan ini telah mengelilingi hampir separuh dunia dengan ekspedisi--ekspedisi maritimnya. Dengan ketujuh pelayarannya ini Zheng Ho telah menyumbangkan peranan yang cukup besar dalam mengantarkan dinasti Ming ke gerbang kejayaannya di bawah pemerintahan kaisar Yong Lo {1403-1424). Atas jasa-jasanya yang besar ini ia kemudian mendapat gelar San Bao Taijian (Kasim Agung San Bao). Salah satu negara yang kerap kali dikunjungi armada Zheng Ho adalah Indonesia, khususnya pulau Jawa dan Sumatra. Akibatnya Zheng Ho dikenal pula oleh penduduk pribumi maupun masyarakat keturunan Cina di Indonesia_
