Pendapatan nonbunga cenderung mengalami tren meningkat.

(2010 ? 2014). Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa di negara ? negara
berkembang seperti Indonesia dan Thailand, masih ditemukan manfaat
dari kegiatan diversifikasi yaitu nilai market to book yang tinggi namun
hanya sampai titik tertentu, setelah itu maka hubungan diversifikasi
dengan kinerja menjadi berlawanan. Penelitian ini juga menemukan bahwa
dampak diversifikasi aset lebih signifikan mempengaruhi kinerja
dibandingkan dengan diversifikasi pendapatan. Selanjutnya ditemukan

ABSTRACT
This study aims to examine the impact of non-traditional banking activities
such as diversification of income and assets, and the market structure on
stock market response and performance in Indonesia and Thailand. This
study uses panel data methodology using annual data for 5 years period
after the crisis of 2009 (2010-2014). The results of the study show that
developing countries are benefiting from diversification, since they
achieve higher market-to-book value but only up a to certain point, beyond
that point the relation between diversification and performance turns out to
be contrary. This study also find that asset diversification has significant
impact on performance.

This study aims to analyze the influence of woman on boards on bank earnings management of listed banks in the Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand stock exchanges. This study uses the system Generalized Methods of Moments (GMM) method on 73 listed banks in these countries from 2013-2018. Both linear and non-linear effects of woman on board on earnings management are examined in this study, and bank earnings management is measured using discretionary loan loss provisions. This analysis is divided into countries that have one-tier and two-tier corporate governance systems.
Our findings suggest that there are insignificant results for the influence of woman on board and woman on board squared on bank earnings management for one-tier and two-tier countries. Meanwhile, there is a different result from previous studies that the presence of three women directors has a significant and positive influence on bank earnings management in two-tier countries. The results of one-tier and two-tier countries can be different because the absolute value of the error term of the two-tier countries is higher than the one of one-tier countries which indicate higher DLLP values.

ABSTRACT

This research investigates the impact of financial integration toward market-value leverage in emerging market, controlled by firm size, asset tangibility, growth opportunities, and profitability. This research use ordinary least square (OLS) method and find that in 200 non financial and non utilities firms in Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, and Thailand in 2005-2010, equity market integration more affects firm's market-value leverage than credit market integration. Size, asset tangibility, growth opportunities, and profitability affect market-value leverage significantly. As integration proceeds to higher level, high-growth firms use equity financing than low-growth firms."
