"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui korelasi antara asupan karbohidrat, protein dan lemak dengan kadar C-Reactive Protein pada pasien kanker paru stadium IIIB-IV. Progresivitas kanker paru dipengaruhi oleh sistem kekebalan tubuh, faktor genetik dan respon inflamasi. CRP sebagai salah satu marker inflamasi dapat diandalkan sebagai salah satu parameter untuk memprediksi perkembangan kanker. Subjek didapatkan melalui consecutive sampling yang melibatkan 49 subjek kanker paru stadium IIIB ndash; IV yang tidak sedang menjalani terapi di RS Kanker 'Dharmais'. Hasil penelitian didapatkan rerata usia 55,82 12,26 tahun, sebanyak 63,3 berjenis kelamin laki-laki. Nilai median CRP yaitu 23,82 0,30 - 207,29 mg/L. Pada penelitian ini tidak ditemukan adanya korelasi yang bermakna antara asupan karbohidrat dengan kadar CRP serum p = 0,919 , asupan protein dengan kadar CRP serum p = 0,257 dan asupan lemak dengan kadar CRP serum p = 0,986 . Kesimpulan: pada penelitian ini tidak didapatkan korelasi antara asupan karbohidrat, protein dan lemak dengan kadar CRP serum sebagai penanda perkembangan kanker.

The aim of the study was to determine the correlation between carbohydrate, fat and protein intake with the serum C Reactive Protein level in lung cancer patients stage IIIB ndash IV. The progression of lung cancer is influenced by immune system, genetic factors and inflammatory response, therefore CRP can be relied as one of the parameters for predicting cancer cell growth. Subjects were recruited by consecutive sampling, 49 subjects with lung cancer stage IIIB IV who currently not receving any treatment in Dharmais Cancer Hospital participating in this study. The mean age of subject was 55,82 12,26 years old and 63,3 were male. The median value of CRP was 23,82 0,30 207,29 mg L. This study did not showed significant correlation between carbohydate, protein and fat intake with serum CRP value p 0,919 p 0,257 p 0,986, respectively. "Proses inflamasi pada kanker kepala dan leher menyebabkan peningkatan sitokin proinflamasi dan sintesis protein fase akut c-reactive protein, CRP yang kemudian menyebabkan perubahan metabolisme dan anoreksia pada penderitanya. Seng merupakan zat gizi yang memiliki peran penting dalam menekan inflamasi, namun dilaporkan sekitar 65 pasien kanker kepala dan leher mengalami kekurangan seng. Penelitian potong lintang ini bertujuan mengetahui korelasi antara asupan seng dan kadar seng serum dengan kadar c-reactive protein CRP sebagai upaya menekan inflamasi sehingga dapat mengurangi morbiditas dan mortalitas pasien kanker kepala leher. Dari 49 subyek yang dikumpulkan secara konsekutif di Poliklinik Onkologi RS Kanker Dharmais, 67,3 adalah laki-laki, rentang usia subyek 46 ndash;65 tahun. Frekuensi terbanyak 65,3 adalah kanker nasofaring dan 69,4 berada pada stadium IV. Seratus persen subyek memiliki asupan seng dibawah nilai angka kecukupan gizi. Rerata kadar seng serum subyek adalah 9,83 2,62 mol/L. Sebanyak 51 subyek memiliki kadar CRP yang meningkat. Terdapat korelasi negatif yang lemah antara kadar seng dengan kadar CRP subyek r =-0,292, p =0,042, namun tidak terdapat korelasi antara asupan seng dengan kadar CRP subyek p =0,86.

The inflammatory process of head and neck cancer leads to increase the proinflammatory cytokines and the synthesis of c reactive protein CRP , which then causes metabolic alteration and anorexia in the patients. Zinc is one of nutrient that has an important role in suppressing inflammation. It is reported that about 65 of head and neck cancer patients have zinc deficiency. The aim of this cross sectional study is to determine the correlation between zinc intake and serum zinc levels with CRP level as an effort to reduce inflammation to reduce the morbidity and mortality of head and neck cancer patients. Subjects were collected by consecutive sampling in the Oncology Polyclinic Dharmais Cancer Hospital, from 49 subjects 67,3 were men, most subjects were in the age range between 46 ndash 65 years. The highest frequency 65,3 is nasopharyngeal cancer and 69,4 are already in stage IV. All subjects in this study have a zinc intake below the recommended dietary allowance RDA in Indonesia. The mean serum zinc level of the subjects was 9.83 2.62 mol L. Most subjects have elevated CRP levels. There was a weak significant negative correlation between zinc concentration and CRP levels of subjects r 0.292, p 0.042, but there was no correlation between zinc intake and CRP levels of subjects p 0.86. "

"Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui korelasi antara penilaian risiko malnutrisi menggunakan skor PG-SGA dengan kadar CRP serum sehingga dapat digunakan untuk memprediksi tingkat inflamasi pada pasien kanker kepala dan leher stadium I_IV guna mencegah terjadinya kaheksia. Malnutrisi hingga kaheksia pada kanker terjadi karena interaksi faktor tumor, faktor pejamu dan faktor-faktor lainnya. Faktor tumor berupa sitokin pro-inflamasi akan memicu respons pejamu untuk memproduksi protein fase akut seperti CRP. Protein fase akut memerlukan sejumlah substrat yaitu asam amino yang berasal dari otot rangka. Otot rangka akan mengalami degradasi sehingga menyebabkan wasting otot rangka. Oleh karena itu, CRP selain dapat digunakan sebagai marker inflamasi sistemik juga dapat digunakan sebagai salah satu indikator faktor risiko yang berperan dalam terjadinya malnutrisi dan kaheksia. Efek wasting otot rangka yang ditimbulkan secara tidak langsung oleh CRP dapat dinilai dengan terdapatnya penurunan BB maupun berkurangnya massa otot yang juga merupakan komponen dalam penilaian PG-SGA. Penelitian ini merupakan studi potong lintang dengan menggunakan consecutive sampling yang melibatkan 51 subjek kanker kepala dan leher stadium I_IV yang belum mendapatkan terapi. Hasil penelitian didapatkan rerata usia 46,6 13,9 tahun, sebanyak 76,5 berjenis kelamin laki-laki. Kanker nasofaring merupakan kanker terbanyak 80,4 , dan stadium terbanyak yaitu stadium IVA. Rerata indeks massa tubuh IMT yaitu 20,6 4,0 kg/m2, dan sebanyak 37,3 subjek berada pada IMT normal. Berdasarkan skor PG-SGA sebanyak 64,7 subjek berisiko tinggi malnutrisi dengan rerata skor PG-SGA 11,7 6,2. Nilai median CRP yaitu 6,4 0,4_170,4 . Penelitian ini memperoleh korelasi positif yang signifikan antara skor PG-SGA dengan kadar CRP serum dengan kekuatan korelasi lemah r = 0,372; p = 0,007.

The purpose of this study was to determine the correlation between the malnutrition risk assessment using PG SGA score with serum CRP levels so that it can be used to predict the levels of inflammation in head and neck cancer patients stage I IV to prevent cachexia. Malnutrition and cancer cachexia occurs due to the interaction of tumor factors, host factors and other factors. Tumor factors such as pro inflammatory cytokines will trigger a response of the host to produce acute phase proteins such as CRP. Acute phase protein which require a number of amino acids derived from skeletal muscle. Skeletal muscles will be degraded, causing skeletal muscle wasting. Therefore, CRP can be used as a marker of systemic inflammation and can be used as one indicator of the risk factors also that contribute to malnutrition and cachexia. Effect of skeletal muscle wasting which caused indirectly by the CRP can be assessed by the weight loss and reduced muscle mass which is a component in the assessment of PG SGA also. This study is a cross sectional study using consecutive sampling, 51 subjects head and neck cancer stage I IV who had not received treatment participated in this study. Data showed the mean age of subjects was 46.6 13,9 years, and 76 were male. Most cancer sites were as nasopharyngeal 80,4, and mostly in stage IVA. The mean body mass index BMI is 20,6 40 kg m2, with most of the BMI is normal 37,3. Based on PG SGA score 64,7 of the subjects at high risk of malnutrition, and the PG SGA mean score is 11,7 6,2. The median value of CRP is 6,4 0,4 170,4. The result of this study showed a significant positive correlation between PG SGA score with serum CRP levels with the strength of correlation is weak r 0,372 p 0,007. "

"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui aktivitas laktat dehidrogenase LDH serum dan korelasinya dengan asupan karbohidrat pada pasien kanker paru stadium lanjut di Rumah Sakit Kanker Nasional Dharmais Jakarta. Pada sel kanker terjadi efek Warburg yaitu kecenderungan sel kanker untuk melakukan glikolisis anaerob. Enzim LDH berfungsi sebagai katalisator untuk mengubah piruvat menjadi laktat pada keadaan anaerob. Peran laktat pada pada sel kanker meliputi inisiasi pertumbuhan tumor, menjaga kelangsungan sel kanker, proliferasi, angiogenesis, dan metastasis. LDH dapat digunakan sebagai marker diagnostik, penentu prognosis, sensitivitas dan resistensi tumor terhadap terapi, dan target potensial untuk kemoterapi. Subjek didapatkan melalui consecutive sampling yang melibatkan 56 subjek kanker paru stadium lanjut. Rerata usia hasil adalah 56,98 10,36 tahun, sebanyak 55,4 berjenis kelamin laki-laki. Asupan karbohidrat berdasarkan food recall 1 x 24 jam adalah 57,64 10,85 , sedangkan berdasarkan food frequency questionnaire FFQ semikuantitatif adalah 57,98 10,50 . Nilai median aktivitas LDH adalah 541,5 164 ndash;6539 IU/L yang sebanyak 60,7 aktivitasnya meningkat. Pada penelitian ini didapatkan korelasi negatif yang bermakna dengan kekuatan sedang p = 0,017, r = - 0,317 antara asupan total karbohidrat per hari dalam gram berdasarkan metode food recall 1 x 24 jam dengan aktivitas LDH serum. Tidak didapatkan korelasi yang bermakna antara total karbohidrat per hari dalam gram berdasarkan metode FFQ semikuantitatif dan asupan karbohidrat terhadap total energi dengan aktivitas LDH baik berdasarkan metode FFQ semikuantitatif dan food recall 1 x 24 jam.Kesimpulan: Asupan karbohidrat dalam 24 jam berkorelasi negatif bermakna dengan aktivitas LDH serum pada pasien kanker paru stadium lanjut.

The aim of this study is to determine serum lactate dehydrogenase LDH activity and its correlation with carbohydrate intake in advanced lung cancer patients at Dharmais National Cancer Hospital Jakarta. Cancer cells are characterized by increase anaerobic glycolysis termed the Warburg effect. LDH enzyme catalyzes the convertion of lactate to pyruvate in anaerobic condition. Activity of lactate in cancer influences on tumor growth initiation, tumor survival, proliferation, angiogenesis and metastasis. Serum LDH activity can be used as a diagnostic marker, prognostic marker, predictive marker for tumor sensitivity and resistancy to therapy, and potensial target for chemotherapy. 56 subjects of advanced lung cancer are recruited by consecutive sampling. The mean of age subjects is 56,98 10,36 years old and 55,4 were male. Carbohydrate intake based on food recall 1 x 24 hours is 57,64 10,85 , while based on food frequency questionnaire FFQ semiquantitative is 57,98 10,50 . The median of LDH activity is 541,5 164 ndash 6539 IU L and 60,7 is increse. This study show medium negative significant correlation p 0,017, r 0,317 between total carbohydrate intake per day in grams based on food recall 1 x 24 hours with LDH serum activity. There is no significant correlation between total carbohydrate intake per day in grams based FFQ semiquantitative and carbohydrate intake of total energy with LDH serum activity based on food recall 1 x 24 hours and FFQ semiquantitative. In conclusion, there is medium negative significant correlation between carbohydrate intake in 24 hours with LDH serum activity in advanced lung cancer patients."

"Homeostasis protein berperan penting dalam memperlambat proses malnutrisi dan dalam mempertahankan massa bebas lemak pasien kanker. Kehilangan signifikan massa bebas lemak terutama massa otot skelet akan mengurangi mobilitas fisik, kapasitas fungsional, dan skor kualitas hidup pasien kanker. Penelitian ini merupakan studi potong lintang yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui korelasi antara asupan protein dengan massa bebas lemak dan kapasitas fungsional pada pasien kanker paru di poli onkologi RS Persahabatan Jakarta. Didapatkan 52 subjek laki-laki dengan rerata usia 55,63 6,77 tahun. Jenis dan stadium kanker yang terbanyak ditemukan adalah adenokarsinoma 63,5, stadium IV 65,4. Status nutrisi kurang berdasarkan IMT ditemui pada 21,2 subjek, dan berdasarkan kadar albumin serum didapatkan 30,8 subjek dengan hipoalbuminemia. Lebih dari 50 subjek dengan asupan energi dan protein dibawah rekomendasi asupan untuk pasien kanker. Pada pemeriksaan komposisi tubuh didapatkan rerata massa bebas lemak 47,20 6,28 kg, dengan 48,1 indeks massa bebas lemak rendah, massa otot rerata 44,74 5,98 kg dengan 40,4 massa otot tergolong kurang. Nilai kapasitas fungsional skala Karnofsky.

The homeostasis of protein plays an important role in decreasing the process of malnutrition and in maintaining fat free mass in cancer patients. The significant loss of fat free mass, especially skeletal muscle mass could decrease physical activity, functional capacity, and quality of life of cancer patients. This was a cross sectional study aimed to investigate the correlation of protein intake, fat free mass and functional capacity in lung cancer patients in the Oncology Unit of Persahabatan Hospital Jakarta. Obtained 52 male subjects with a mean age of 55,63 6,77 years old. The most cancers type were adenocarcinoma 63,5 and most of subjects were at stage IV 65,4 . Nutritional status of the subjects 21,2 were in undernutrition based on body mass index parameter, and 30,8 of the subjects were in hypoalbuminemia. More than 50 of the subjects had low energy and protein intake. The mean of fat free mass was at 47,20 6,28 kg, that 48,1 of fat free mass index were in low categorized, and 40,4 of muscle mass were also in small categorized, that the mean was at 44,74 5,98 kg. Functional capacity Karnofsky scale of the subjects 26,9 showed less than 70. The data showed that the subjects had nutrition problems. This study showed positive and significant correlations between protein intake with fat free mass index r 0,379, p "

Latar Belakang : Inflamasi kronik berhubungan dengan tumor dan menyebabkan prognosis yang buruk pada pasien kanker. Salah satu penanda inflamasi yang meningkat pada tumor adalah C-Reactive Protein (CRP). Kadar CRP meningkat pada lebih dari 50% pasien keganasan. Peningkatan CRP berhubungan kuat dengan keparahan penyakit pada beberapa kanker. Salah satu zat gizi dalam inflamasi adalah asam lemak omega-3. Asam lemak omega-3 dapat meningkatkan pembentukan specialized pro-resolving mediators (SPM) yang berfungsi meningkatkan mediator antiinflamasi, melindungi blood brain barrier, menurunkan sitokin proinflamasi, menurunkan apoptosis neuron. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menilai hubungan asupan asam lemak omega-3 dengan CRP pada pasien tumor sistem saraf pusat.
Metode : Studi potong lintang ini dilakukan pada subjek berusia 18-65 tahun di RSUPN Cipto Mangunkusumo pada bulan November hingga Desember 2023. Pengukuran CRP menggunakan metode immunoturbidimetric assay. Pengambilan asupan asam lemak omega-3 menggunakan Food Frequency Questionnaires semikuantitatif. Analisis bivariat digunakan untuk menilai hubungan antara variabel bebas dan terikat.
Hasil : Dari total 63 subjek penelitian, sebanyak 35 subjek (55,6%) pada kelompok asupan asam lemak omega-3 < 2 g/hari dan 28 subjek (44,4%) pada kelompok asupan asam lemak omega-3 ≥ 2 g/hari. Nilai median CRP 8,3 (0,6 – 71,5) mg/L. Tidak terdapat hubungan yang bermakna (p = 0,714) antara asupan asam lemak omega-3 dengan CRP pada pasien tumor sistem saraf pusat.
Kesimpulan : Tidak terdapat hubungan bermakna antara asupan asam lemak omega-3 dengan CRP pada pasien tumor sistem saraf pusat.

Background: Chronic inflammation is associated with tumors and causes poor prognosis in tumor patients. One of the inflammatory markers that increase in tumors is C-Reactive Protein (CRP). CRP levels are elevated in more than 50% of patients with malignancies. Elevated CRP is associated with disease severity in some cancers. One of the nutrients in inflammation is omega-3 fatty acids. Omega-3 fatty acids can increase the formation of specialized pro-resolving mediators (SPM) which function to increase anti-inflammatory mediators, protect the blood brain barrier, reduce pro-inflammatory cytokines, reduce neuron apoptosis. This study aims to assess the relationship between omega-3 fatty acid intake and CRP in patients with central nervous system tumors.
Methods: This cross-sectional study was conducted on subjects aged 18-65 years at Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital from November to December 2023. CRP measurement using immunoturbidimetric assay method. Omega-3 fatty acid intake was collected using semiquantitative Food Frequency Questionnaire. Bivariate analysis was used to assess the relationship between independent and dependent variables.
Results: From the total 63 research subjects, 35 subjects (55,6%) in the omega-3 fatty acid intake group < 2 g/day and 28 subjects (44,4%) in the omega-3 fatty acid intake group ≥ 2 g/day. The median CRP value was 8.3 (0.6 - 71.5) mg/L. There was no significant relationship (p = 0,714) between omega-3 fatty acid intake and CRP in patients with central nervous system tumors.
Conclusion: There is no significant relationship between omega-3 fatty acid intake and CRP in patients with central nervous system tumors.

"Malnutrisi dan Tuberkulosis (TB) memiliki hubungan bidireksional, dimana saling berinteraksi satu sama lain. Pada kondisi infeksi kronis, terjadi ketidakseimbangan antara pemecahan protein dan sintesis protein yang ditandai dengan menurunnya massa bebas lemak. Malnutrisi juga menyebabkan atrofi timus sehingga terjadi penurunan proliferasi limfosit. Kondisi malnutrisi pada pasien TB akan menurunkan kualitas hidup. Kualitas hidup yang baik akan meningkatkan keberhasilan pengobatan, menurunkan mortalitas dan morbiditas. Short Form-36 (SF-36) merupakan kuesioner untuk menilai kualitas hidup yang dapat menilai 2 komponen yaitu komponen fisik (PCS) dan mental (MCS).  Penelitian potong lintang ini bertujuan untuk menilai hubungan asupan protein, massa bebas lemak dan hitung limfosit total dengan kualitas hidup pada pasien TB paru fase intensif di 12 puskesmas yang dipilih secara random di Kota Pekanbaru, Riau. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara consecutive sampling, dan didapatkan 72 subjek yang memenuhi kriteria penelitian. Hasil penelitian didapatkan nilai tengah usia adalah 33 tahun dengan usia terendah 18 tahun dan tertinggi 59 tahun. Sebanyak 56,9% subjek adalah laki-laki, sebagian besar berpendidikan menengah dengan pendapatan kurang, perokok aktif dan dengan status gizi kurang (underweight). Sebanyak 59,7% subjek memiliki asupan protein yang kurang, 86,1% dengan massa bebas lemak yang rendah, dan 88,9% subjek memiliki hitung limfosit yang normal. Sebagian besar subjek memiliki kualitas hidup PCS dan MCS yang baik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat korelasi dengan kekuatan lemah yang bermakna secara statistik antara massa bebas lemak dengan PCS (r = 0,239, p = 0,044), sedangkan asupan protein dan hitung limfosit total tidak ditemukan adanya korelasi baik terhadap PCS maupun MCS.

Introduction: Malnutrition and Tuberculosis (TB) have bidirectional relationship, which interact between each other. In chronic infection, there is an imbalance between protein degradation and protein synthesis which marked with the loss of fat free mass (FFM). Malnutrition can cause the atrophy of thymus gland resulted in the reduction of lymphocyte production. Malnutrition in TB patients will reduce quality of life. On the other hand, a good quality of life will increase treatment success rate and decrease the risk of morbidity and mortality. Short Form-36 (SF-36) is a questionnaire used to assess quality of life consists of two different components, physical component score (PCS) and mental component score (MCS).
Methods: This cross-sectional study aimed to assess correlation between protein intake, fat free mass, and total lymphocyte count with quality of life among intensive phase lung tuberculosis patients. Data collected from May to July 2019 in 12 primary health centers chosen randomly in Pekanbaru, Riau Province. Samples selected using consecutive sampling method and 72 subjects fulfilled all research criteria. Interview was used to collect basic characteristic data, dietary intake data, and quality of life score. Anthropometric measurement (body weight, body height, and fat free mass) and laboratory examination (total lymphocyte count) were done. Spearman, Pearson, Mann-Whitney, and Kruskall Wallis test were used in this study.
Results: Research showed median age subjects was 33 years old (18-59 years old). Most of the subjects were male (56.9%), had middle level of education, had low income, were active smoker with underweight nutritional status. Around 59.7% subjects had low protein intake, 86.1% subjects had low fat free mass, and 88.9% subjects had normal lymphocyte count. Most of the subjects had good physical and mental component score of quality of life assessment.
Conclusion: There was a statistically significant weak correlation between fat free mass with PCS (r = 0.239, p = 0.044). However, there was no correlation found between protein intake or total lymphocyte count with PCS or MCS.

"Latar belakang: Psoriasis adalah penyakit inflamasi kulit kronik yang diperantarai sistem imun, dengan etiologi multifaktor. Stres telah diidentifikasi sebagai penyebab maupun faktor eksaserbasi psoriasis. High sensitivity c-reactive protein hs-CRP merupakan penanda sensitif untuk inflamasi. Stres maupun psoriasis dapat meningkatkan kadar hs-CRP serum. Data tingkat stres dan kadar hs-CRP serum pada pasien psoriasis terbatas dan belum ada penelitian mengenai korelasi antara stres dengan kadar hs-CRP serum pasien psoriasis Indonesia. Tujuan: Mengetahui hubungan korelasi antara stres dengan derajat keparahan psoriasis dan high sensitivity c-reactive protein. Metode: Pada studi potong lintang ini, pemilihan sampel dilakukan secara consecutive sampling dengan jumlah sampel 33 pasien. Derajat keparahan psoriasis diukur dengan metode Psoriasis Area and Severity Index PASI , penilaian stres dengan kuesioner Perceived Stress Scale PSS , dan kadar hs-CRP serum sebagai penanda inflamasi. Hasil: Didapatkan rerata usia 40,12 13,04 tahun dengan median skor PASI sebesar 4,7 0,9-22,4 . Didapatkan median skor kuesioner PSS sebesar 22 8-30 dan median kadar hs-CRP pada SP sebesar 2,38 0,53-12,06 mg/L. Ditemukan nilai korelasi antara stres dengan derajat keparahan psoriasis r= 0,30;p=0,046 , derajat keparahan psoriasis dengan kadar hs-CRP serum r = 0,363; p = 0,019 , dan stres dengan kadar hs-CRP serum r= 0,236; p= 0,093 . Simpulan: Ditemukan korelasi bermakna antara stres dengan derajat keparahan psoriasis dan derajat keparahan psoriasis dengan kadar hs-CRP serum. Namun tidak didapatkan korelasi bermakna secara statistik antara stres dengan kadar hs-CRP serum. Hasil ini mungkin dikarenakan faktor perancu yang dapat memengaruhi stres maupun kadar hs-CRP serum. Identifikasi dan tatalaksana stres dapat bermanfaat bagi terapi psoriasis.

Background Psoriasis is a multifactorial immune mediated chronic inflammatory skin disease. Stress is identified as a trigger and precipitating factor for psoriasis. High sensitivity c reactive protein hs CRP is a sensitive marker for inflammation. Stress and psoriasis may cause an increase in hs CRP serum. There are limited studies on stress and hs CRP levels in Indonesian psoriatic patients and there are no reported studies on the correlation between stress and hs CRP levels in Indonesian psoriatic patients. Objective To determine the correlation between stress and psoriasis disease severity and high sensitivity c reative protein levels. Method Sample selection for this cross sectional study was done by consecutive sampling. The Psoriasis Area and Severity Index PASI was used to measure disease severity, the self reporting Perceived Stress Scale PSS was used as a measure for stress, and hs CRP serum was used as a marker for inflammation. Results A total 33 subjects were enrolled to the study, with the median age of 40, 12 13, 04 years old and median PASI score of 4,7 range 0,9 22,4 . The median PSS score was 22 range 8 30 with a median hs CRP serum level of 2,38 range 0,53 12,06 mg L. We found correlation coefficients between stress and psoriasis severity r 0,30 p 0,046 , psoriasis severity and hs CRP serum levels r 0,363 p 0,019 , and stress and hs CRP serum levels r 0,236 p 0,093 . Conclusion We found a statistically significant correlation between stress and psoriasis severity and between psoriasis severity and hs CRP serum levels. However, no statistically significant correlation was found between stress and hs CRP serum levels. This may be caused by confounding factors influencing stress or hs CRP levels. However, identification and management of stres maybe beneficial for psoriatic patients. "
