"Fiber Optic Gyroscope adalah sensor optik yang dapat menentukan posisi sudut gerak sebuah benda. FOG bekerja bedasarkan efek Sagnac, yang menyatakan bahwa pergeseran fase antara dua gelombang berlawanan merambat dalam interferometri cincin berputar, sebanding dengan putaran kecepatan sudut. Salah satu indikator performansi sistem pengukuran yang baik adalah memiliki noise yang kecil. Angle Random Walk adalah kontribusi noise terbesar pada nilai error. Dalam penelitian ini telah dilakukan estimasi noise dari ARW. Performansi OFOG berdasarkan ARW telah dijelaskan pada simulasi ARW berdasarkan emisi foton dan jumlah data cuplik per waktu. Pengaruh ARW terhadap performasi dijelaskan pada grafik PDF. Teknik mereduksi eror dari nilai ARW juga telah dipaparkan untuk meningkatkan performansi OFOG. Telah dibangun protipe OFOG, eksperimen non noise dan analisis koreksi data output melaui simulasi, dimana data output hasil eksperimen hampir sama dengan simulasi koreksi di L = 1,5 km. Nilai ideal rentang pengukuran prototipe OFOG pada 0-5,5 ?/detik, dan nilai ARW di 4,56 x 10-2 ?/ radic;detik.

Fiber Optic Gyroscope is an optical sensor that can determine the position of the angle of motion of an object. FOG works based on the Sagnac effect, which states that the phase shift between two opposite waves propagates in the interferometry of the rotating ring, and proportional to the angular velocity. Goodness performance indicator of measurement system, is having a small noise. Angle Random Walk is the biggest noise contribution to the error value. In this research, noise estimation from ARW has been done. OFOG performance based on ARW has been described in the ARW simulation based on photon emission and the amount of data sampling per time. The effect of ARW on performance is explained on the PDF graph. Error reduction techniques from ARW values have also been presented to improve OFOG performance. Has developed OFOG prototype, non noise experiments and output data correction analysis through simulation, where the experimental output data is almost the same as the correction simulation at L 1.5 km. The ideal value of the OFOG prototype measurement range at 0 5.5 sec, and the ARW value at 4.56 x 10 2 radic sec."

"Universitas Indonesia menggunakan serat optik sebagai media transmisi dalam membangun Jaringan Universitas Indonesia Terpadu (JUITA). Serat optik mempunyai kapasitas transmisi yang besar, oleh karena itu jaringan serat optik diimplementasikan di JUITA. Guna meningkatkan layanan informasi yang cepat dan handal, Universitas Indonesia melakukan perluasan JUITA meliputi jalur trasnmisi serat optik dari Fakultas Teknik ke gedung CDC UI, Fakultas Teknik ke gedung proyek Rumah Sakit dan juga dari Fakultas Ilmu Keperawatan ke gedung PKM.
Perencanaan perluasan JUITA ini disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan Universitas Indonesia seperti: BER 10-10, kecepatan data 100 Mbps, panjang gelombang yang digunakan 1550 nm. Peralatan optik yang dipilih adalah serat optik singlemode jenis loose tube, detektor cahaya PIN photodioda, sumber optik laser dioda, dan konektor ST. Dari analisis power link budget didapat jarak maksimum tanpa menggunakan penguat optik sejauh 491,9 km, sedangkan dari analisis rise time budget didapat kecepatan maksimum sebesar 896 Mbps.

University of Indonesia was using fiber optic as transmission media of the University of Indonesia Network Integrated (JUITA). Fiber optic has high capacity transfer; therefore fiber optic network was implemented in the JUITA. University of Indonesia has developed JUITA to increase information services that more fast and high qualified that include transmition link from Engineering Faculty to CDC UI building, Engineering Faculty to hospital project building and FIK to PKM building.
Development of JUITA was adapted with University of Indonesia requirement likes: BER of 10-10, data rate of 100 Mbps, 1550 nm wavelength. Optical devices that used ware singlemode fiber optic loose tube type, PIN photodiode, laser diode and ST connector. The power link budget analysis was given maksimum length of fiber optic that can be used without optical amplifier 491.9 km. The rise time budget analysis was given data rate maximum of 896 Mbps.

"Random walk sederhana merupakan suatu proses stokastik yang memenuhi aturan rantai Markov. Pada random walk sederhana dapat dibentuk suatu variabel banyak singgah di suatu state pada satu putaran berhingga. State disini merupakan nilai dari jumlah kumulatif random walk. Dalam skripsi ini akan dibahas distribusi dari banyak singgah di suatu state pada satu putaran berhingga dari sebuah random walk sederhana. Distribusinya adalah distribusi geometri termodifikasi di nol. Distribusi banyak singgah akan diaplikasikan untuk melakukan uji kerandoman pada barisan bilangan biner berhingga.

Simple random walk is a stochastic process that meets the Markov chain property. In a simple random walk can be established a number of visits variable within an excursion to a given state. State here the value of the cumulative random walk. In this paper will discuss the distribution of the number of visits within an excursion of a simple random walk to a given state. The distribution of the number of visits is zero-modified geometric. The distribution of the number of visits is applied for testing randomness on a finite binary sequence."

"ABSTRACT
Investigating if the market is efficient is an old issue as market efficiency is imperative for channeling investments to best-valued projects and its importance endures. There is contradictory evidence in the literature provided by empirical researches. The primary purpose of this research has been to find out whether share prices are a random walk process by applying multiple unit root tests, Runs Test and newly developed State Space Model. The empirical findings of the study provide sufficient evidence that the stock prices of KSE 100 Index, S & P BSE 500 Index, and CSE All Share Index is not a random walk process and are thus weak form inefficient hypothesis. In this study, the concept of the random walk is examined considering only the stock markets while bypassing the other asset markets. This research supply exciting facts about independent samples from Pakistan, India, and Bangladesh and complement the existing literature on emerging markets."
