"Visual search for compound patterns was examined in observers aged 6, 8, 10, and 22 years. The main question was whether age-related improvement in search rate (response time slope over number of items) was different for patterns defined by short- versus long-range spatial relations. Perceptual access to each type of relation was varied by using elements of same contrast (easy to access) or mixed contrast (hard to access). The results showed large improvements with age in search rate for long-range targets; search rate for short-range targets was fairly constant across age. This pattern held regardless of whether perceptual access to a target was easy or hard, supporting the hypothesis that different processes are involved in perceptual grouping at these two levels. The results also point to important links between ontogenic and microgenic change in perception (H. Werner, 1948, 1957)."

This thesis aims to find out how virtual space, in this case in video game, can be formed and understood by humans without experiencing space directly with their bodies. Because of the limited senses used, it requires visualization of virtual space to convey space information, so that the sense of sight becomes an important factor for the user to be able to understand the virtual space that is being experienced by the avatar. How we see in virtual space is different from how we do in the real world. In the virtual space, there is a change point of view from perspective and field of view that affects how much information about the space is delivered to the user. Laying the point of view of virtual space is adjusted by conveying the composition of the shape and color of the object that has been arranged according to its function. By changing the point of view, user can gather information of virtual space from what we see and evoke users emotion. User can see the spaces that is being visited and those around the avatar, so user can navigate even though virtual space is a space that never been visited and unknown by the user. Therefore, changing the point of view in virtual space is important because it affects how much information will be received so user can understand the space from the objects that are composed."

"Information security analytics gives you insights into the practice of analytics and, more importantly, how you can utilize analytic techniques to identify trends and outliers that may not be possible to identify using traditional security analysis techniques.
Information security analytics dispels the myth that analytics within the information security domain is limited to just security incident and event management systems and basic network analysis. Analytic techniques can help you mine data and identify patterns and relationships in any form of security data. Using the techniques covered in this book, you will be able to gain security insights into unstructured big data of any type.
The authors of information security analytics bring a wealth of analytics experience to demonstrate practical, hands-on techniques through case studies and using freely-available tools that will allow you to find anomalies and outliers by combining disparate data sets. They also teach you everything you need to know about threat simulation techniques and how to use analytics as a powerful decision-making tool to assess security control and process requirements within your organization. Ultimately, you will learn how to use these simulation techniques to help predict and profile potential risks to your organization."

The increasing development of information and communication technology massively has accelerated the spread of various information, including information disorders, especially on the internet. By using the annotated bibliographic method, the author attempts to find out the behavior patterns of social media users in spreading information disorders. The way to find out the behavior patterns of social media users in spreading information disorder itself can be seen from the forms of information disorder itself such as disinformation, misinformation, and malinformation. Knowing the behavior patterns in the spread of information disorder can help us to find mitigation solutions to the spread of information disorder. From the various literature that offers efforts to overcome information disorder, the authors find that the digital world is a dynamic ecosystem that keeps continuing to process so it becomes very vulnerable. In the end, the authors conclude that the mitigation solution is a process of mitigating the spread of information disorder itself."
