"The effectiveness of transportation demand management policy depends on how commuters respond to it. This study attempts to comprehend commuter behavior in choosing routes based on electronic road pricing (ERP) policy implementation on the Sudirman and Kuningan corridors. The experiments were conducted using the data collections from a stated preference experiment in which each commuter makes a route choice with an alternative representing a hypothetical situation with a combination of tariffs and travel time in ERP policy implementation. Logit models found that the individual and household variables influence route divert behavior. A commuter with a higher income or more family members living together is more likely to have less flexibility in diverting route. In addition, the distance of the trips affected their route divert behavior and influenced an individual trip chain constrained in time-space prism."

"The aim of this study
was to examine and compare psychological factors influencing car drivers? and
motorcycle riders? speeding intentions (IN), using the Theory of Planned
Behaviour (TPB). The psychological factors modules included Attitude (AT),
Subjective Norm (SN) and Perceived Behavioural Control (PBC). These were
employed to explain speeding intentions in urban road environments. A sample of
188 car drivers and 174 motorcycle riders were collected from the two
universities within Khon Kaen, Thailand. The Structural Equation Model (SEM)
was used to examine and explain speeding intentions. The results indicated that
the TPB could explain 33% and 41% of the variance of intentions by car drivers
and motorcycle riders, respectively. The most significant psychological factor
for car drivers was determined by attitude (AT), while the speeding intention
of motorcycle riders was attributed to perceived behavioural control (PBC). The
authorities in Khon Kaen Province should determine safety policies that can
improve these psychological factors, which could have various effects or
outcomes on changing car drivers? and motorcycle riders? speeding intentions.
The outcome of this study could help to understand car drivers? and motorcycle
riders? speeding intentions in urban road environments and it could be useful
for development of safety measures."

"The aim of this study
was to examine and compare the psychological factors influencing driver
speeding behavior in 3 cities in Southeast Asia, focusing on developing
counties, using the Theory of Planned Behaviour (TPB). Data was collected from
570 respondents in the urban areas of Khon Kaen in Thailand, Vientiane in Laos
and Phnom Penh in Cambodia. The psychological factors of TPB include attitude
(AT), subjective norm (SN) and perceived behavioral control (PBC). These
factors were employed to explain speeding intentions in urban road
environments. The Structural Equation Models (SEM) was used to examine and
explain speeding intentions. The results indicated that the TPB could explain
the variance by intentions of drivers in Khon Kaen, Vientiane and Phnom Penh at
33%, 46%, and
84%, respectively. The most significant of the psychological factors for Khon
Kaen drivers was determined by AT, while the speeding intentions of Vientiane
drivers and Phnom Penh drivers were determined by PBC. From this data, the
authorities of each city should create and implement safety policies that can
improve these psychological factors, which could have a positive effect on
drivers?speeding intentions in urban road environments. The outcome of this
study could be useful for understanding the speeding attitudes of drivers in
three different countries and would be beneficial for the development and
introduction of preventative safety measures in these countries as well."

"The Aluminum 7075 (Al 7075) alloy is a precipitation hardening material instead of a strain hardening material. These mechanical properties are of a particular microstructure obtained by thermo-mechanical treatments. Among other things, this is a complicated microstructure which is responsible for the mechanical performance. The evolution of the mechanical properties of aluminum alloys is dependent on aging time parameters after heat treatment. In this study, the material has undergone a tempering heat treatment followed by a series of tensile tests. The experimental data (tensile curves in three directions during maturation time) is used to describe the evolution of the mechanical characteristics in terms of loading directions and maturation time, denoted respectively as: Ψ and t. The tensile curves are the source of data to begin the problem of identifying the behavior law of studied material using Barlat?s model and Hollomon?s isotropic hardening law. Thus, from the identified parameters (anisotropy coefficients and hardening coefficients), the evolution of the Lankford coefficient, deformation rate and load surfaces during the maturation time for three load directions (0°: rolling direction, 45° and 90°) are described. This study allows optimizing the response of the aluminum alloy to plastic strains, resulting from forming processes measured against the best time during maturation and the best load direction."

"3D sound is a new trend in various media, such as movies, video games, and musicals. Interpolated head-related transfer functions (HRTFs) are a key factor in its production, due
to real-time system limitations in storing measured HRTFs. In addition, the
interpolation of HRTFs can reduce the need to measure a large amount of HRTFs and
the associated effort. In this research, we used the PKU-IOA HRTF Database and
covered three interpolation techniques, namely bilinear rectangular, bilinear
triangular, and tetrahedral. Bilinear interpolations can be used to compute
weights in interpolating measured HRTFs in a linear fashion, with respect to
azimuth and elevation angles. Such interpolations have been proposed for three
measurement points that form a triangle or for four measurement points that
form a rectangle, surrounding the HRTF at a desired point. These geometrical
approaches compute weights from a distance of the desired point from each
measurement point. Tetrahedral interpolation, meanwhile, is a technique for
HRTF measurements in 3D (i.e. azimuth, elevation, and distance) using barycentric weights. Based on our experiments, 3D tetrahedral
interpolation results in the best average mean square error (MSE) of 3.72% for minimum phase head related impulse responses (HRIRs) and best average spectral distortion (SD) of
2.79 dB for magnitude HRTFs, compared to 2D bilinear interpolations (i.e.
rectangular and triangular interpolation). Regarding the latter, bilinear
rectangular interpolation generally performs better than the triangular
variety. Additionally, the use of minimum phase HRIRs as input data results in
more optimal interpolated data than magnitude HRTFs. We therefore propose an
optimal framework for obtaining estimated HRIRs by interpolating minimum phase
HRIRs using tetrahedral interpolation. Such HRIRs have been simulated to
produce virtual 3D moving sound in a horizontal plane with a difference of 2.5o
of azimuth angle. The simulated moving sound that is heard moves naturally in a
clockwise direction from an azimuth angle of 0o to 360o."

"The objective of this research was to study the effects of highly moist inlet air conditions such as temperature, relative
humidity, and frontal air velocity on the value of the Lewis number (Le) in the cooling and dehumidifying process of air. A finned tube cooling coil was tested
under ranges of temperature, relative humidity and frontal velocity. It was
found that the Lewis number (Le) varied within the range of 0.92-1.62 and that the increase in inlet air relative humidity tends to
decrease the Lewis number (Le). Based on the
experimental, a correlation for predicting the Lewis number (Le) was also established in this article. The
correlation has the mean absolute error (MAE) of 3.04% and covers 98.07% of the data where a discrepancy within ± 10%."

"The choice among modes of intercity transport depends on conditions of not only intercity transport modes but also intracity transport in both the departure city and the arrival city. Intracity transport conditions might be advantageous for one intercity mode and disadvantageous for others. Intercity and intracity transport conditions are complex and need to be approached systemically. This study proposes an approach based on the passengers? preferences. The logit model was adapted to evaluate the transport modes? choices in competition. This model is called the ?Adapted Mixed Multinomial Logit Model? (AMML). It was applied on the Jakarta-Bandung corridor in both directions. It contributes to a complete approach for intercity transport mode choice by considering the influence of the intracity transport conditions in both the departure and arrival cities. The results proved that the choice of intercity transport mode depends not only on its own quality of service but also, importantly, on that of the intracity transport systems."

This thesis discusses the implementation of the policy diffusion for environmental technologies in Serpong and agro technology in Lembang and the factors that influence it. This research uses a positivist approach to the descriptive data analysis. Primary data in the form of in-depth interviews are conducted to the performer of the diffusion of environmental technology in Serpong and agro technology in Lembang.
Results of analysis showed the existence of implementation gaps between guidelines and the factual implementation. The indication is the approach used is centralized and top-down, there is not synchronous technology needs and determination of technological R & D results in the diffusion right and the lack of local government involvement in program implementation. The factors that influence the policy implementation are: goals and objectives are unclear, the target group that has not been precise and consistent, implementing policies that have not fully committed, communication between an organization that has not been intensive, social, economic and political, as well as the participation rate people who lack the implementation of technology diffusion.
In order for technology diffusion policies can be implemented well, then at the stage of policy formulation is required the involvement of the parties that will be involved (stakeholders) in the implementation of policies that include concepts, objectives and a clear strategy to be easily understood correctly by executors. Communication and coordination among organizations should be further enhanced to realize synchronization and synergy in the implementation. In addition the approach taken should be more demand oriented or bottom-up considering the benefits for adopters and also consider environmental factors: social, economic and political.
