0.19, respectively. The magnetoresistance decreases with increasing values of Cu, i.e. 75%, 72%, 64%, and 35% for x = 0, 0.06, 0.10, and 0.13
respectively. Samples in accordance
with the model of crystalline metal Ln R
vs. 1/T are compared to Mott insulator models Ln R vs. 1/T0.25. Based on the magnetization curve, a
paramagnetic to ferromagnetic transition is observed at Curie temperature, TC,
of ~ 196 K, 170 K, 140 K, 137 K, and 113 K for x = 0, 0.06, 0.10, 0.13, and 0.19 respectively."

"Barium strontium titanate (BST) or Ba1-xSrxTiO3 with x=0-1 possesses superior dielectric properties, which are widely used in many applications like in communication technology, electronic instrumentations, and various electrical devices. In this paper, the characterization of the particle and crystallite size of Ba1-xSrxTiO3 (x: 0; 0.3; 0.7) is described. A two-step refinement commenced: first by mechanical milling, and then a further refinement under ultrasonic irradiation in a high power sonicator was applied to Ba1-xSrxTiO3 (x: 0; 0.3; 0.7) particles. The crystalline powders were obtained through mechanically alloyed standard research grade BaCO3, TiO2, and SrCO3 precursors in a planetary ball mill.The powders were first found heavily deformed after 60 hours of milling and then went through a sintering process at 1200°C for 4 hours to form multicrystallite particles. The presence of a single phase in the three samples was solidly confirmed in their respective X-ray diffraction (XRD) patterns. The changes of multicrystallite particles into monocrystallite particles were obtained only after crystalline powders were irradiated ultrasonically in a high power sonicator. The processing variable during ultrasonic irradiation was limited to the duration time of irradiation and particle concentration in the exposed media. It is shown that the average sizes of BST particles at x=0; 0.3; 0.7 before ultrasonic irradiation were 353, 348, and 385 nm, respectively. These respective sizes decreased drastically to 52, 35, and 49 nm, respectively, after 12 hours of ultrasonic irradiation. These particle sizes are almost identical with that of their crystallite size. Hence, the synthesis of monocrystallite particles has been achieved. As the particle concentration of media takes effect, it is shown that an exposed media with a higher particle concentration tends to form multicrystallite particles."

"Compositesof montmorillonite (MMT) - lithium salts have been prepared using a simple process of powders mixing followed by heating. The powders resulting from this method are expected to beionic conductors with a high ionic conductivity characteristics. This characteristics is also further improved by employing gamma-ray irradiation technique at specified irradiation doses. The best results were obtained for the (LiCl)0.5(MMT)0.5 composite with a room temperature ionic conductivity of 2.192 mS/cm, which then increases to ~5 mS/cm after gamma irradiation at a dose of 400 kGy. This value is equivalent to the value of the ionic conductivity of current commercial rechargeable lithium battery, which is ~10 mS/cm. However the commercial battery system is still employing an unsafe organic electrolyte. By employing this lightweight,inexpensive and high-temperature resistant ceramic montmorillonite, the final result of this Research and Development workt is expected to provide an alternative solid electrolyte system for rechargeable battery which is safer and more inexpensive especially for secondary battery technology development in Indonesia.

Dampak Suhu Panas dan Iradiasi Sinar - - pada Konduktivitas Ion (LiCl)x(Montmorillonite)1-x. Pembuatan bahan elektrolit padat dilakukan dengan proses sederhana berupa pencampuran serbuk yang diikuti dengan pemanasan yang diharapkan dapat membentuk komposit montmorillonite (MMT)-garam Litium yang memiliki karakteristik konduktivitas ionik yang tinggi. Karakteristik ini juga dicoba ditingkatkan lebih jauh dengan menggunakan iradiasi sinar gamma dengan pengaturan dosis radiasi. Hasil terbaik diperoleh untuk komposit (LiCl)0.5(MMT)0.5 dengan nilai konduktivitas ionik pada suhu ruang mencapai 2,192 mS/cm yang meningkat menjadi ~5 mS/cm setelah iradiasi gamma dengan dosis 400 kGy. Nilai ini seorde dengan nilai konduktivitas ionik baterai isi ulang yang ada saat ini yang bernilai ~10 mS/cm namun masih menggunakan elektrolit organik yang kurang aman. Dengan penggunaan keramik montmorillonite yang ringan, murah serta memiliki kemampuan untuk bertahan pada kondisi suhu tinggi, hasil dari litbang ini diharapkan memberikan prospek salah satu alternatif sistem elektrolit padat baterai isi ulang yang aman dan ekonomis terutama untuk pengembangan teknologi baterai di Indonesia."

"Tahap tanggap darurat bencana banjir di DKI Jakarta awal tahun 2013 lalu, menghambat proses pembangunan sosial dan menimbulkan berbagai permasalahan kesejahteraan sosial. Maka untuk itu melalui pendekatan kualitatif, penelitian tesis ini bermaksud mendeskripsikan apakah relasi triple helix terbangun dalam tahap tanggap darurat bencana banjir awal tahun 2013 lalu. Berdasarkan hasil temuan dilapangan, ternyata tidak terbangun relasi triple helix. Padahal relasi triple helix saat tahap tanggap darurat bencana banjir awal tahun 2013 lalu dapat terbangun karena adanya beberapa faktor pendukung seperti: (a) semangat kemanusiaan; (b) lokasi yang berdekatan; (c) kemampuan SDM dalam bidang tanggap darurat; dan (d) kemampuan finansial. Namun memang faktanya relasi triple helix ini tidak dapat terbangun secara sempurna saat tahap tanggap darurat bencana banjir awal tahun 2013 lalu karena ada beberapa faktor penghambat seperti: (a) ketidakpercayaan; (b) prosedur birokrasi yang ketat; dan (c) ego sektoral.

Emergency response Phase of floods disaster in DKI Jakarta on early 2013, impede the process of social development and creates various social welfare issues. Through a qualitative approach, this thesis is intended to describe the triple helix relations in the emergency floods in early 2013. Based on the findings at the field, it did not wake triple helix relation. Though triple helix relations in current flood emergency response phase in 2013 could be developed due to several contributing factors such as: (a) humanity spirit; (b) adjacent locations; (c) human resource capabilities in emergency response, and (d) the financial capability. But in the fact a triple helix relations can not be developed completely when the emergency phase of floods in early 2013, because there are several inhibiting factors such as: (a) distrust, (b) strict bureaucratic procedures, and (c) sectoral ego."
