"Workplace personal web usage (WPWU) is an employee’s activity in using internet for non-related
task during working hours. It is considered a counterproductive behavior when done excessively
because it can interrupt employee’s productivity, but it can increase creativity and eliminate boredom
when used in a rational amount. The objective of this study was to prove whether perceived
organizational injustice had influence on WPWU which affected work productivity. A total of 222
respondents working in various industries were gathered through web-survey. By using multinomial
logistic regression analysis, this study found that high level use of internet for unrelated jobs
between 2 to 4 hours a day was influenced by respondents’ perception of not getting fair treatment
and incentive for being good performer, which then caused them to perform very low completion of
tasks. There were two contrasting views regarding this result; organizations considered it as deviant
behavior because it reduced employees’ performance whereas employees regarded it as just short
breaks to get rid of stress. Hence, this finding suggested that companies should redesign its internet
policies to accommodate “Work-Life Blend”; blending work and personal lives, as a consequence of
cultural shift in the era of globalization and new technologies."

"ABSTRAK
Kemajuan teknologi telah menjadi perhatian yang menarik di dunia bisnis yang dapat meningkatkan produktivitas dan efisiensi. Selain membawa perubahan positif, kemajuan teknologi telah membuka peluang untuk berperilaku menyimpang. Hal ini dipercaya bahwa workplace personal web usage (WPWU) adalah perilaku yang tidak produktif.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh keadilan organisasi terhadap WPWU dan WPWU terhadap produktivitas kerja. Penelitian ini melibatkan 222 karyawan yang bekerja di Indonesia. Penelitian menggunakan kuesioner yang terdiri dari Endicott Work Productivity Scale (EWPS), indikator WPWU (Coker, 2011), dan indikator keadilan organisasi (Moorman, 1991). Analisis statistik yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode analisis deskriptif dan regresi multinomial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh negatif yang signifikan antara keadilan organisasi dengan WPWU. Selain itu, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh negatif yang signifikan antara WPWU dengan produktivitas kerja. Saran dari hasil penelitian ini diberikan untuk peraturan internet organisasi.

ABSTRACT
Technological advancements have become attractive attention in business world which can accelerate productivity and efficiency. Besides taking along positive alteration, technological advancements have opened up opportunities to misbehave. It is commonly believed that workplace personal web usage (WPWU) is a counterproductive behaviour. This study aims to analyse the influence of organizational justice towards WPWU and the influence of WPWU towards work productivity. This study involved 222 employees who work in Indonesia as respondents. This study used Endicott Work Productivity Scale (EWPS), Cokers?WPWU Indicator, and Moormans? Organizational Justice Indicator. Statistical analysis is performed by descriptive analysis and multinomial regression analysis. The result of the study shows that there is a significant negative influence of organizational justice towards WPWU. In addition, the result of the study shows that there is a significant negative influence of WPWU towards work productivity. Implication of this study findings is given for organizational internet policies."

"One out of four people in the world is a Moslem, and Indonesia ranks first on the biggest Moslem
population in the world. Hundreds of thousands of people go to Makkah each year to make Hajj
(pilgrimage). Hajj and Umrah travel agencies as providers of Hajj and Umrah packages are becoming
important in Indonesia, as their number is about two hundred agencies. However, there
has been little discussion about Hajj and Umrah, especially on Hajj and Umrah travel agencies.
The purpose of this paper is to identify the relationships of post-purchase perceived-value to relationship
quality, which consists of satisfaction, commitment, and trust, on Hajj and Umrah travel
agencies. This study finds that the post-purchase perceived-value significantly affects satisfaction
and trust but does not affect commitment. Moreover, satisfaction significantly affects trust and
commitment, while trust does not affect commitment."

"ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh dukungan atasan dan tempat kerja terhadap well-being karyawan perusahaan startup di Indonesia. Selanjutnya, penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan menyebarkan kuesioner kepada responden secara daring maupun luring. Alat ukur yang digunakan adalah 19 indikator dari penelitian Jang (2009). Metode pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah non-probability dengan purposive sampling, dengan syarat responden harus merupakan karyawan pada perusahaan startup yang memiliki kebijakan fleksibilitas dalam penjadwalan kerja. Setelah menyebarkan kuesioner selama 2 bulan didapatkan sebanyak 228 kuesioner namun hanya 224 kuesioner yang bisa di olah di tahap selanjutnya. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data menggunakan metode Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) menggunakan program Lisrel 8.8 diketahui bahwa dukungan atasan serta dukungan dari tempat kerja tidak dapat secara langsung memengaruhi well-being karyawan. Diperlukan adanya kebijakan baik berupa formal atau informal dari perusahaan yang dapat mendukung jalannya fleksibilitas penjadwalan kerja. Sehingga bagi karyawan yang menjalankan fleksibilitas tersebut merasa dapat menyeimbangkan antara pekerjaan dan kehidupan mereka. Dan pada akhirnya well-being karyawan dapat terpenuhi dengan baik. Selain hubungan mediasi, pada penelitian ini juga menguji hubungan satu-per-satu antar varibel, dan hasil uji untuk semua hipotesis dinyatakan positif signifikan atau dengan kata lain semua hipotesis diterima.

ABSTRACT
The aim of this study is to examine the effect of supervisory and workplace support on employee well-being at start-up companies in Indonesia. This study uses quantitative methods with a questionnaire. Questionnaires were distributed by offline and online. We use 19 indicators by Jang (2009) as a measuring instrument. The sample selection method is non-probability with purposive sampling. It specifically selected employees of start-up companies that have implemented flexible work schedule thus obtaining 228 respondents. After data cleaning, there are 224 questionnaires could be processed further with structural equation modelling (SEM) by using the Lisrel 8.80. The finding shows that supervisory and workplace support implementation would not directly effect employee well-being. They need formal or informal policies written by the company to support the flexibility of work schedule. If flexible work schedule is implemented properly, work-life balance could be enhanced. Employees who can balance their work and life will experience a significant increase in employee well-being. In addition, besides the mediation effect, this study also found the effect each relationship between variables, and results for all hypotheses were stated to be significantly positive."

"Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk menganalisis perilaku etis, kemampuan mendengarkan, kemampuan menjalin hubungan dan kemampuan mengelola dari sales executive berpengaruh positif terhadap keputusan pembelian pelanggan. Desain penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah desain riset konklusif deskriptif, dengan metode kuantitatif yang akan dilakukan satu kali dalam satu periode (single cross section), dengan unit analisis pelanggan Sales Executive Honda Mobil Indonesia.
Penelitian ini disebar dengan konteks sampel yakni 103 responden yang merupakan pelanggan yang pernah berkomunikasi dengan Sales Executive Honda Mobil Indonesia dalam periode 6 bulan dan telah melakukan keputusan pembelian. Teknik analisis yang digunakan dalam mengolah dan menganalisis data yang didapatkan dari kuesioner adalah perbandingan hasil uji Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) dengan menggunakan software Lisrel 8.51 dan uji regresi berganda dengan menggunakan software SPSS 22.
Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah perilaku etis, kemampuan mendengarkan dan kemampuan menjalin hubungan dari seorang sales executive Honda Mobil tidak berpengaruh secara positif terhadap keputusan pembelian. Kemampuan mengelola emosi dari seorang sales executive berpengaruh positif terhadap keputusan pembelian pelanggan.

The purpose of this research is to analyze the effects of sales executive’s ethical behavior, listening ability, relational skill and emotional intelligent towards consumer purchase decision. The research design used for this research is conclusive descriptive research design with a quantitative method which is executed one time at a time (single cross section) and the unit of analysis for this research is consumer of Honda Mobil Indonesia.
This research is distributed to 103 respondents who have purchased and communicated with the sales executive in the last 6 months. The analysis technique used in processing and analyzing the data are Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) (using Lisrel 8.51 software) and Regression (using SPSS 22 software).
The result of this research shows that the ethical behavior, listening ability and relational skill of Sales executive does not influence consumer purchase decision significantly. In the other side, the emotional intelligent of Sales Executive influences consumer purchase decision positively.

"Previous studies found that culture significantly affects innovation in different settings. Nevertheless, the extensive body of literature places greater emphasis on the presumption that a country's culture is unified across the nation. Hence, the examination of this research holds particular significance within the context of Indonesia, a multicultural nation comprises of numerous distinct ethnicities and sub-ethnicities. The aim of this study is to examine the influence of Hofstede’s cultural dimension on the entrepreneurial innovativeness (EI) of East Javanese and Sundanese entrepreneurs. This study applies Hofstede's cultural dimensions: power distance, masculinity, uncertainty avoidance, collectivism, long-term orientation, and indulgence on entrepreneurs. Using the sub-ethnicities East Javanese and Sundanese as cases in point, the data from online survey were analyzed using simple regression technique for partial influence and multiple regression for the simultaneous influence of the six dimensions. To have a more comprehensive outlook of the findings, the Mann-Whitney U test and crosstabs were applied to each sub-ethnicity cultural dimension.

Literatur yang ada telah menunjukkan bahwa budaya memiliki dampak yang signifikan terhadap inovasi pada suatu perusahaan atau negara. Namun, literatur yang ada lebih banyak fokus pada asumsi bahwa sebuah negara tersusun atas satu budaya yang sama. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini menjadi menarik untuk diteliti di negara multikultural seperti Indonesia yang memiliki ratusan etnik dan budaya berbeda. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh komparatif nilai budaya nasional terhadap entrepreneurial innovation (EI) pada pengusaha Jawa Timur dan Sunda. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori Hofstede yang meneliti kebudayaan nasional menggunakan enam dimensi, yaitu: power distance, masculinity, uncertainty avoidance, collectivism, long-term orientation, and indulgence. Dengan melakukan online survey pada para pengusaha Jawa Timur dan Sunda, data penelitian ini dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknis analisis regresi sederhana untuk melihat pengaruh aspek budaya secara parsial dan regresi berganda untuk melihat pengaruh aspek budaya secara nersama-sama terhadap EI. Uji beda berdasarkan tes Mann-Whitney dan tabel silang dilakukan terhadap masing-masing kelompok responden untuk memberikan pemahaman terhadap hasil yang lebih baik."

"Penelitian ini difokuskan untuk melihat hubungan antara pelaksanaan program K3 dengan produktivitas kerja karyawan pada divisi operasional PT Surveyor Indonesia, Jakarta. Penelitian ini menggunkan metode kuantitatif. Data dikumpulkan dengan cara survey, yang menggunakan kuesioner. Terdapat 5 dimensi untuk program K3 yang merupakan teori dari Mathis & Jackson dan 2 dimensi untuk produktivitas kerja karyawan dari teori Stephen P. Robbin. Adapun sampel yang digunakan adalah karyawan PT Surveyor Indonesia pada divisi operasional yang berjumlah 50 orang.
Peneliti menggunakan factor analisis untuk mengukur validitas dan Cronbach?s alpha untuk realibilitas. Untuk mengetahui ada atau tidaknya hubungan antara kedua variabel tersebut, maka digunakan teknik analisis spearman. Hasil dari pengukuran tersebut ditemukan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang kuat antara pelaksanaan program K3 dengan produktivitas kerja karyawan. Saran yang diusulkan dalam penelitian ini agar perusahaan lebih meningkatkan komitmen dan kebijakan K3, untuk dapat meningkatkan produktivitas kerja karyawannya.

This study focused on the relationship between occupational health and safety programme with employee productivity at the operational division of PT Surveyor Indonesia, Jakarta. This study use the quantitative method. Data were collected by survey, using questionnaires. There are five dimensions to occupational health and safety program that is the theory of Mathis & Jackson and two dimensions to the work productivity of employees of the theory of Stephen P. Robbin. Samples used the employees of PT Surveyor Indonesia on the operational divisions, amounted to 50 people.
Researchers used factor analysis to measure the validity and Cronbach's alpha for reliability. To find out whether there is any relationship between two variables, the analytical technique used spearman. The results of these measurements found that there is a strong enough relationship between occupational health and safety program with employee productivity. Suggestions proposed in this study in order to further enhance the company's commitments and policies occupational health and safety, to be able to increase employee productivity.

"Most areas in Indonesia are prone to natural disasters. Learning the lessons from the Aceh Tsunami in 2004, areas with high risks of natural disasters are in the process of preparing themselves for such an unexpected event, by increasing their resilience. The objective of this studyis to shed more lights on factors affecting the resilience from two sources namely, existing literatures and the application of disaster management in four disaster-prone areas in Indonesia -Padang, Sleman, Cilacap, and Palu. To enrich our analysis, we collect data from the field tocompare the preparedness and to get insights on people?s perceptions towards the factors of resilience in those areas. We employ IDI and FGD to identify the factors of resilience and the preparedness in the areas investigated. Thereafter, a preliminary survey is conducted to identify people?s perceptions towards the
aspects of resilience in the areas.
Results from the survey conducted to 800 households in Padang and Cilacap indicates that from the social aspect, community?s value cohesiveness is one of important factor affecting their resilience towards natural disaster. In addition, since almost 85 percent of their income was spending to fulfill their daily basic needs such as foods, clothing, and housing. Therefore, when disaster occurred, they heavily relied on the help of debt or selling some of their assets, as well as used cash in hand as emergency funds. In general, respondents in all sample cities are able to re-start their economic activities as soon as two weeks after the event of disaster. In addition, the survey found that most of respondents were aware that the government has programs to educate people on the disaster mitigation.
