ABSTRAK Jurnal ini membahas tentang analisis makna ?nim? dalam dua puisi karya Kim Sowol yang berjudul 님의
노래(Nimeui Norae, Nyanyian Kekasih) dan 님에게(Nimege,Untuk Kekasih). Kedua puisi ini menarik untuk diteliti
karena keduanya mengandung kata ?nim? yang dapat diinterpretasikan berbeda. Akan tetapi, jika ditelaah lebih
dalam, makna ?kekasih? dalam kedua puisi ini dapat memiliki makna yang berbeda dengan makna ?nim? yang
sebenarnya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam jurnal ini adalah close reading dengan pendekatan struktural
dan semiotik. Studi kepustakaan dilakukan untuk mengetahui latar belakang sosial masyarakat Korea dan penyair
saat kedua puisi ini ditulis. Analisis dalam jurnal ini dikaitkan dengan hakikat puisi, yaitu tema, perasaan penyair,
nada, dan amanat puisi, lalu menerjemahkan keseluruhan kedua puisi ini dengan berfokus pada makna ?nim?. Hasil
dari penelitian ini adalah makna ?nim? dalam puisi yang berjudul Nimeui Norae memiliki makna "negara" dimana
yang dimaksud di sini adalah Korea, sedangkan makna ?nim? dalam puisi yang berjudul Nimege memiliki makna
?kekasih?.
ABSTRAK This journal discusses about the analysis of ?nim??s meaning in two Kim Sowol?s poetries entitled 님의
노래(Nimeui Norae, Lover?s Song) and 님에게(Nimege, For Lover). Both of them are appropriate to study because
the contain of word ?nim? that could be interpreted differently. However, when they examined more deeply, the
word lover in both poetry?s can have different meaning to the"nim? in the real meaning which is interesting to study.
The method used in this journal is closed reading with structural and semiotic approaches. Literature study used to
determine the social background of the Korean and the poets when both them were written. Analysis in this journal
related to the theory of basic of poetry, which is the poetry?s theme, poet?s feeling, tone, and the message of the
poetry. Then, translate both of those poetries with more focus to the meaning of the "nim?. The results of this study
