"Beberapa penelitian mengenai budaya fan menunjukkan bahwa demokratisasi kebudayaan tengah terjadi. Demokratisasi kebudayaan adalah proses transformasi perilaku konsumen, keberkuasaan konsumen atas media, juga hubungan hirarkis antara produsen dan konsumen. Selama proses transformasi ini berlangsung, produsen dan konsumen memiliki kekuasaan yang semakin setara terhadap media melalui budaya partisipasi. Fenomena ini juga terpantau pada masyarakat Jepang bilamana hubungan dialogis antara produsen dan konsumen ini mulai terjadi pada beberapa fandom di Jepang. Dengan menggunakan metode projected interactivity, penelitian ini berupaya mendefinisikan hubungan antara produsen dan fan dalam fandom grup musik Jepang, Sound Horizon, sebagai salah satu fandom yang menunjukkan gejala demokratisasi kebudayaan.

Some studies on fan culture indicated that the democratization of culture is taking place. Democratization of culture is a transformation in consumer rsquo s behavior, consumer rsquo s authority upon media, and the hierarchical relationship between producer and consumer of media. During this transformation, producer and consumer are approaching an equal standing in front of media through the participatory culture. This phenomenon is also taking place in Japanese society, where the dialogical producer fan relationship is observable in some Japanese fandoms. By employing the projected interactivity methodology, this research leads to a greater understanding of producer fan relationship within a fandom for the Japanese musical band, Sound Horizon, as one of the Japanese fandoms which show the signs of democratization of culture.

"Komunitas penggemar budaya populer Jepang adalah salah satu komunitas fandom yang aktif dalam memproduksi produk budaya baru berdasarkan interpretasi mereka mengenai budaya Jepang. Di Indonesia, kebutuhan untuk berinteraksi dan berekspresi sebagai penggemar menyebabkan terselenggaranya konvensi atau festival bertema budaya populer Jepang yang dikenal dengan sebutan “event Jejepangan”. Mangga Dua Square, sebuah pusat perbelanjaan di Jakarta, telah konsisten memberikan ruang berekspresi untuk komunitas penggemar budaya populer Jepang sejak tahun 2015, dan banyak komunitas “event Jejepangan” yang lahir di sana. Pada tahun 2022, Mangga Dua Square memberikan nama Mangdu J-Pop Zone untuk menyebut konvensi budaya populer Jepangnya. Seluruh pengumuman event, poster publikasi, dan interaksi secara daring antara komunitas dan penyelenggara event dilakukan melalui akun media sosial Instagram @mangdujpopzone. Tugas akhir ini membahas bagaimana praktik pemberian ruang untuk berekspresi bagi komunitas “event Jejepangan” dilakukan oleh penyelenggara konvensi budaya populer Jepang Mangdu J-Pop Zone dan bagaimana persepsi komunitas “event Jejepangan” terhadap praktik pemberian ruang ekspresi tersebut. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif yang dilakukan dengan dua metode, yaitu observasi media sosial dan wawancara dengan komunitas “event Jejepangan”. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa terjalin hubungan mutualisme antara Mangdu J-Pop Zone dan komunitas “event Jejepangan”. Mangga Dua Square menyediakan ruang berekspresi untuk komunitas melalui Mangdu J-Pop Zone dan komunitas mempromosikan dan mengonsumsi produk yang ada di Mangga Dua Square.

The Japanese popular culture fan community is one of fandom communities that is active in producing new cultural products based on their interpretations of Japanese culture. In case of Indonesia, they organize Japanese popular culture-themed conventions or festivals known as "event Jejepangan" (Japanese culture events) to interact and express themselves as fans. Mangga Dua Square, a shopping mall in Jakarta, has consistently been providing a space for the Japanese popular culture fan community to express themselves as fans since 2015, and many "event Jejepangan" communities have been born there. In 2022, Mangga Dua Squaregave the name Mangdu J-Pop Zone to refer to its Japanese popular culture convention. All publications of the event announcement, posters, and online interactions between the community and event’s organizer are done through Instagram account, @mangdujpopzone. This research discusses how the practice of providing space for expression for the "event Jejepangan" community is carried out by the organizers of the Mangdu J-Pop Zone Japanese popular culture convention. Furthermore, it also tries to find how the "event Jejepangan" community perceives such practices by the event organizer. This qualitative research uses social media observation and interviews with the "event Jejepangan" community as methods. The findings show a mutual relationship between Mangdu J-Pop Zone and the "event Jejepangan" community. Mangga Dua Square offers an expression space for the community through Mangdu J-Pop Zone and in return, the community promotes and consumes products in Mangga Dua Square."

"[ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat objektifikasi yang terjadi pada perempuan penari dalam praktik budaya seni tari Joged Bumbung. Metode yang digunakan adalah etnografi feminis, yang bertujuan untuk melihat operasi gender dan distribusi kekuasaan yang terjadi di dalam masyarakat dan budaya di dalamnya. Ditemukan bahwa perempuan penari dalam kasus ini, terobjektifikasi secara seksual karena adanya sistem budaya patriarki, dan diperparah karena mekanisme pasar kapitalis. Temuan ini kemudian dilihat menggunakan perspektif feminis
radikal sebagai teori utama dalam menjelaskan fenomena yang ditemukan dan perspektif feminis sosialis sebagai teori pendukungnya

by the capitalistic market. This findings was analyzed using the radical feminist
perspective as the main theory and socialist feminist perspective as the supporting

"Penelitian ini membahas tentang budaya kontrol lingkungan di Keraton Kasepuhan dan Keraton Kanoman. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan metode pengumpulan data melalui wawancara dan observasi lapangan. Penelitian ini membandingkan keadaan ruang penyimpanan pada Keraton Kasepuhan dan Keraton Kanoman. Di dalam penelitian ini, pengukuran keadaan ruangan menjadi salah satu cara untuk melihat hal-hal yang telah dilakukan oleh keraton dalam menjaga keadaan lingkungan ruang penyimpanan. Ditemukan dalam penelitian ini bahwa kontrol lingkungan dalam penyimpanan naskah masih belum dilakukan dengan baik. Budaya keraton adalah salah satu latar belakang atas tindakan penyimpanan naskah di dalam keraton. Kearifan lokal menjadi salah satu bentuk tindakan yang dilakukan dalam menjaga ruang penyimpanan. Tindakan yang dilakukan antara lain berbentuk peng-ukup-an, hal tersebut dilakukan untuk menciptakan ruangan yang bebas dari serangga. Kendala-kendala yang menjadi penghambat kegiatan pemeliharaan ruang juga disebabkan oleh budaya keraton.

This thesis discusses about environment control culture in Kasepuhan palace and Kanoman palace. This study is a qualitative research. Method of collecting data is conducted through interviews and field observations. This study compares condition of storage space at Kanoman and Kasepuhan palace. Measurement of the condition of the room is one way to look at how thing have been done by these two palaces in maintaining the environmental condition of storage space. This study found that enviroment control in the storage room is still not done well this is due to the background culture of the palace. Indigenous approach is done to keep the storage space namely peng-ukup-an (giving certain scent) done, in order to free from insects. The constraints in enviroment control activities is caused by palace’s culture."
