"In recent years, social innovation has experienced a steep career. Numerous national governments and large organisations like the OECD, the European Commission and UNESCO have adopted the term. Social innovation basically means that people adopt new social practices in order to meet social needs in a different or more effective way. Prominent examples of the past are the Red Cross and the social welfare state or, at present, the internet 2.0 transforming our communication and cooperation schemes, requiring new management concepts, even empowering social revolutions. The traditional concept of innovation as successful new technological products needs fundamental rethinking in a society marked by knowledge and services, leading to a new and enriched paradigm of innovation. There is multiple evidence that social innovation will become of growing importance not only concerning social integration, equal opportunities and dealing with the greenhouse effects but also with regard to preserving and expanding the innovative capacity of companies and societies. While political authorities stress the social facets of social innovation, this book also encompasses its societal and systemic dimensions, collecting the scientific expertise of renowned experts and scholars from all over the world. Based on the contributions of the first world-wide science convention on social innovation from September 2011 in Vienna, the book provides an overview of scientific approaches to this still relatively new field."

"Kebebasan adalah kodrat manusia sebagai individu. Namun pajak sebagai kebijakan dari negara tidak relevan dengan kebebasan individu karena sifatnya yang memaksa individu membayar kepada negara yang kemudian juga menimbulkan problem ketidakadilan dalam hubungannya dengan bentuk-bentuk dan tujuan pajak. Robert Nozick memberikan gagasan minimal state sebagai konsep negara yang fungsinya sebatas menjamin kebebasan, keamanan, dan hak-hak individu di dalamnya dengan redistribusi untuk fungsi tersebut dan keadilan distributif via market sebagai landasan supaya keadilan bisa diterapkan. Dengan dua gagasan tersebut keadilan akan signifikan dengan kesejahteraan masyarakat dalam kebebasannya.

Freedom is human’s nature as an individual. However, tax as the policy of the state is not relevant to individual freedom because it is forcing people to pay to the state which then also lead to problem of injustice in relation to the forms and tax purposes. Robert Nozick provide a notion about minimal state as the concept of state which limit it function to guarantee freedom, security, and the rights of individuals in it with the redistribution and also a notion about distributive justice via market as a foundation so that justice can be applied. With these two notions, justice will be significant to the welfare of society in freedom."

"Dalam beberapa tahun terakhir, media animasi anak-anak tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai hiburan. Mereka mengalami perubahan drastis selagi menjadi lebih kritis terhadap isu-isu yang terjadi di masyarakat. Misalnya, penggambaran karakter wanita di masa lalu tidak sama dengan penggambaran wanita di media animasi saat ini. Begitupun juga dengan penggambaran laki-laki. The Loud House, salah satu serial televisi animasi anak-anak yang juga mengikuti tradisi mengeksplorasi isu-isu saat ini, mencoba merekonstruksi hubungan laki-laki dengan alam dengan menunjukkan bahwa mereka memang bisa peduli terhadap alam. Dengan menggunakan analisis tekstual yang dikombinasikan dengan konsep gender, kekuasaan, dan ekomaskulinitas, penelitian ini bermaksud memeriksa hubungan antara relasi kuasa berbasis gender di antara tokoh-tokoh utama dan perilaku mereka terhadap alam. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa The Loud House berhasil menghilangkan dualitas gender penindas-tertindas dan juga melengkapi kritik ekofeminisme dengan menunjukkan bahwa laki-laki juga dapat memiliki hubungan yang dekat dengan alam.

In recent years, children`s animated media do not only serve as a form of entertainment. They have undergone drastic change as they become more critical towards issues occurring in society. For instance, the portrayal of female characters in the past is not the same as the portrayal of women in today`s animated media. The same applies to the representation of men. The Loud House, one of the children`s animated television series also following the tradition of exploring current issues, tries to reconstruct men`s relationship with nature by demonstrating that they can indeed care for it. Using textual analysis combined with the concept of gender, power and ecomasculinity, this research intends to examine the correlation between the gender-based power relations among major characters and their behaviour towards nature. The result of this research shows that The Loud House succeeds in eliminating gendered oppressor-victim dualities and also complementing ecofeminists` critique by demonstrating that men can have closer relationship with nature"
