"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat kualitas tata kelola yang terdapat di NGO lingkungan yang juga berperan sebagai donor atau grant making organization. Aspek yang dinilai adalah visi misi, struktur organisasi dan pengambilan keputusan, leadership dan regenerasi, perencanaan, implementasi, hingga evaluasi program, personalia, kode etik, pengendalian internal, akuntabilitas dan transparansi, serta legitimasi. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode studi kasus di Yayasan KEHATI. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kualitas tata kelola di Yayasan KEHATI sudah cukup baik kecuali di aspek leadership dan regenerasi.

This study aims to assess the quality of governance in environmental NGO which also acts as donor or grant making organization. Observed aspects are vision and mission, organizational structure and decision making, leadership and regeneration, planning, implementation, and evaluation of programs, human resource, code of ethics, internal control, accountability and transparency, and legitimacy. The case study was performed using KEHATI Foundation as sample. The outcome of the study indicates that the quality of governance in Yayasan KEHATI is quite good except in leadership and regeneration aspects."

"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh struktur kepemilikan terhadap hubungan efektivitas dewan komisaris dan nilai perusahaan pada perusahaan yang listing di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Total sampel sebanyak 180 perusahaan untuk masing-masing tahun, yakni 2008 dan 2009. Dengan menggunakan alat ukur berupa kuesioner dari IICD untuk mengukur efektivitas dewan komisaris, ditemukan bahwa efektivitas dewan komisaris mempengaruhi nilai perusahaan, akibat pengawasan yang telah dilakukan untuk memaksimalkan kekayaan pemegang saham. Selain itu, ditemukan bahwa terjadi alignment effect pada perusahaan dengan konsentrasi kepemilikan medium, yang diindikasikan oleh kepemilikan terkonsentrasi medium dan tinggi cenderung memiliki nilai perusahaan yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan konsentrasi rendah namun untuk konsentrasi tinggi ditemukan tidak berbeda signifikan terhadap konsentrasi medium. Hal lainnya, identitas pemilik, yakni asing, ditemukan menghasilkan nilai perusahaan yang lebih tinggi. Selanjutnya, tidak ada variabel kontrol yang ditemukan mempengaruhi nilai perusahaan.

This study is designed to determine the effect of ownership structure in relationship of board of commissioner effectiveness and firm value to listing firm on Indonesia Stock Exchange. Total sample of this study consist of 180 companies in each year, which is 2008 and 2009. Using questionnaire of IICD as a measurement tool to asses the effectiveness of board of commissioner, this study found that effectiveness of board of commissioner affect positively on firm value, as a result of monitoring activity done by them on management in order to maximizing shareholder wealth. In addition, this study found the alignment effect in the company. It can be shown that medium- and high-concentrated ownership firm tend to have higher value compared to that of lower, but firm value tend not to differ statistically significant between medium- and high-concentrated ownership firm. Moreover, companies having foreign investor tend to have higher value than other type. Finally, there is no control variablefound significantly influencing firm value."

"Tata kelola perusahaan telah menjadi salah satu topik utama yang dibicarakan oleh banyak peneliti sejak dimulainya krisis ekonomi global pada tahun 2008. Perbankan memiliki peran penting dalam perekonomian suatu negara, sehingga diperlukan tata kelola perusahaan yang baik. Penelitian ini mengacu pada penelitian sebelumnya oleh de Andres dan Valellado (2008) yang juga menguji pengaruh dewan direksi terhadap kinerja perbankan. Penelitian ini menganalisis pengaruh dewan direksi yaitu ukuran dewan direksi, pihak luar, dan rapat setiap tahun terhadap kinerja perusahaan perbankan yang diukur dengan proksi return on asset, return pasar pemegang saham, dan toin's q. Penelitian ini menggunakan data sekunder yang diambil dari laporan tahunan 20 bank yang terdaftar di BEI periode 2011-2017. Analisis statistik deskriptif dan regresi data panel menggunakan model fixed effect digunakan peneliti sebagai metode analisis dalam penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa board size dan outsiders tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap variabel kinerja bank yaitu ROA, SMR, dan Q, sedangkan pertemuan tiap tahun berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja bank yaitu terhadap ROA.

Corporate governance has become one of the main topics discussed by many researchers since the onset of the global economic crisis in 2008. Banking has an important role in a country's economy, so good corporate governance is needed. This study refers to previous research by de Andres and Valellado (2008) which also examined the effect of the board of directors on banking performance. This study analyzes the effect of the board of directors, namely the size of the board of directors, outsiders, and annual meetings on the performance of banking companies as measured by proxies of return on assets, shareholder market returns, and toin's q. This study uses secondary data taken from the annual reports of 20 banks listed on the IDX for the 2011-2017 period. Descriptive statistical analysis and panel data regression using the fixed effect model were used by researchers as a method of analysis in this study. The results of this study indicate that board size and outsiders do not have a significant effect on bank performance variables, namely ROA, SMR, and Q, while the annual meeting has a significant effect on bank performance, namely on ROA."
