"Pada tahun 1990, berbagai perusahaan industri konstruksi mulai menyadari bahwa manajemen proyek adalah bukan sebuah pilihan melainkan sebuah kebutuhan. Oleh karena itu perlu dilakukan analisis faktor risiko dalam aspek manajemen proyek. Referensi utama manajemen proyek pada skripsi ini adalah PMBOK (Project Management Body of Knowledge). Penelitian kali ini dilakukan dengan penyebaran kuisioner yang dilanjutkan dengan analisis menggunakan metode AHP dan SNI risiko. Setelah analisis selesai maka dilakukan pembahasan mengenai penyebab, dampak, respon preventif dan korektif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa faktor risiko yang paling berpengaruh terhadap cost overrun terletak pada kelompok proses manajemen perencanaan. Apabila perencanaan dilakukan dengan baik dan matang maka eksekusi, pengawasan, dan penutupan akan berjalan dengan baik sehingga kinerja biaya proyek akan baik. Keberhasilan kinerja proyek 60% tergantung pada perencanan.

In 1990, companies began to realize that the construction industry project management is not an option but a necessity. Therefore it is necessary to analyze the risk factors in the project management aspects. The main reference for project management of this final report is the PMBOK (Project Management Body of Knowledge). The research was conducted by distributing questionnaires, followed by analysis using AHP and SNI risk. Once the analysis is completed, then continued with discussions for the causes, effects, preventive and corrective response. Results of this study showed that the risk factors that most affect the cost overrun is planning management process group. If planning did well and properly, the execution, monitoring, and closure will run well so that the performance of the project cost would be good. The successful performance of the project 60% depending on the planning."
