"What knowledge, skills, and values do psychologists need to consult in the performing arts? As with sport psychology, clinicians in this subspecialty often use cognitive-behavioral techniques that enhance performance. However, performing arts consultation differs in several important ways. First, because peak performance cannot be measured by a "perfect score," performing arts consultants focus on the art form's esthetic and technical requirements. Common occupational pressures, resulting in physical and mental stress, also are addressed. Finally, effective interventions are tailored to art-specific issues for each performer. The present article's intent is to encourage participation in performing arts consultation by providing basic practice information."

"Kawasan Prinsen yang dulunya adalah tempat kesenian masyarakat disebut Taman Hiburan Rakyat (THR) Lokasari yang melahirkan penampilan seni seperti Komedie Stamboel (1890an), Malayan Opera dan Band Jazz Black and White (1920an), Teater Kelompok Orion dan Dardanella (1925-1926), serta Band Melody Makers (1930an). Di tengah area Prinsen pun disediakan ruang dansa. Kesenian ini lambat laun menghilang seiring dengan peremajaan kawasan menjadi area Lokasari. Untuk mengubah stigma Prinsen menjadi lebih positif, perlu adanya rehabilitasi sosial yang menyenangkan. Didukung dengan masifnya pengembangan kawasan berorientasi transit, peluang untuk mengubah stigma tersebut cukup besar. Tanpa menghilangkan unsur sejarahnya, perancang berusaha mempertahankan nilai sosial dan budaya yang dulu kental di kawasan ini dengan dikemas menjadi sebuah desain pada bangunan pertunjukan. Harapannya dengan adanya bangunan ini dalam kawasan tidak hanya mengubah gaya hidup ex-tuna susila menjadi lebih positif, namun juga dapat menjadi wadah masyarakat untuk berkarya.

The Prinsen area which was formerly a place for community art was called the Lokasari Amusement Park (THR) which gave birth to artistic performances such as Comedie Stamboel (1890s), Malayan Opera and Black and White Jazz Band (1920s), Theater Group Orion and Dardanella (1925-1926), as well as Band Melody Makers (1930s). In the middle of the Prinsen area there is also a dance hall. This art gradually disappeared along with the rejuvenation of the area into the Lokasari area. To change Prinsen's stigma to be more positive, there needs to be fun social rehabilitation. Supported by the massive development of transit-oriented areas, the opportunity to change this stigma is quite large. Without losing its historical elements, the designers tried to maintain the social and cultural values that used to be strong in this area by packaging it into a design in a performance building. The hope is that the existence of this building in the area will not only change the lifestyle of ex-prostitutes to be more positive, but also become a place for the community to work."

"Latar Belakang: Tahun pertama tahap pendidikan merupakan fase yang cukup berat bagi mahasiswa kedokteran. Seleksi mahasiswa menjadi tugas yang sulit dalam menyaring calon mahasiswa yang diprediksi dapat optimal mengikuti proses pendidikan sejak tahun pertama hingga tahap akhir pendidikan. Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Malahayati (FK UNIMAL) melaksanakan ujian tulis sebagai seleksi mahasiswa. FK UNIMAL melakukan pemeriksaan psikologi (instrumen SPM) sebagai tambahan (data formatif) setelah mahasiswa diterima untuk mengetahui potensi mahasiswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah hasil seleksi ujian tulis dan hasil pemeriksaan psikologi mahasiswa dapat menjadi prediktor performa mahasiswa FK UNIMAL angkatan 2013 pada tahun pertama. Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kohort retrospektif menggunakan data seluruh mahasiswa FK UNIMAL angkatan 2013 (total sampling). Data terdiri atas hasil seleksi ujian tulis, hasil pemeriksaan psikologi (instrumen SPM), dan performa mahasiswa tahun pertama (Indeks Prestasi /IP semester 1, IP semester 2 dan IP Kumulatif /IPK tahun pertama). Data yang diperoleh di analisis secara univariat dan bivariat menggunakan uji komparatif Mann-Whitney dan uji korelasi Spearman. Hasil: Data yang diperoleh secara lengkap sejumlah 431. Terdapat hubungan dengan korelasi yang lemah antara hasil seleksi ujian tulis dengan IPK tahun pertama (r=0.100, p=0.039) dan dengan IP semester 1 (r=0.122, p=0.011). Terdapat hubungan antara hasil pemeriksaan psikologi (instrumen SPM) dengan seluruh performa mahasiswa pada tahun pertama (p<0.001). Terdapat hubungan antara asal sekolah dengan IPK tahun pertama (p=0.017). Terdapat hubungan antara jenis kelamin dan asal sekolah dengan IP semester 2 (p<0.05). Kesimpulan: Hasil pemeriksaan psikologi (instrumen SPM) merupakan prediktor positif terhadap seluruh performa mahasiswa FK UNIMAL angkatan 2013 pada tahun pertama. Penelitian lebih lanjut perlu dilakukan untuk mengetahui hubungannya dengan performa mahasiswa pada tahap pendidikan tahun berikutnya hingga menjadi dokter.

Background: The first year of medical education is a difficult phase for medical students. Student selection is a difficult task to screen candidates that are predicted to be able optimally to follow the educational process from the first year until the final stage of education. Faculty of Medicine, University of Malahayati (FK Unimal) has implemented a written entry test as student selection. FK Unimal also implemented psychological test using standard progressive matrics (SPM) instruments as a supplement (formative data) to the students who are accepted, to determine the potential of students. This study aims to determine wether the result of the written selection test and the psychology test can be a predictor for the performance of first year medical students batch 2013of Malahayati University.

Method: This study is a retrospective cohort study using data of all students of FK Unimal batch 2013 (total sampling). The data consists of the written test selection results, psychology test results (SPM instruments), and first year medical student performance (gradepoint index, or Indeks Prestasi/IP of semester 1, IP of semester 2, and a first-year grade-point average/IPK). The data obtained are analyzed using univariate and bivariate analysis using the Mann-Whitney comparative test and Spearman correlation test.

Result: The complete data are obtained from 431 students. There is weak correlation between the written test selection results with the first-year IPK (r=0,100, p=0,039) and with IP of semester 1 (r = 0.122, p = 0.011). Correlation is also seen between the psychology test results (SPM instruments) with the whole performance of students in the first year (p <0.001). There is correlation between school origin with the first-year IPK (p = 0.048). Correlation is also seen between gender and school origin with IP on semester 2 (p <0.05).

Conclusion: The psychology test results are positive predictor of first year medical student performance FK Unimal batch 2013. Further study is required to determine the correlation with medical student performance in the following years until graduation as a doctor."

"Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis tingkat risiko kredit Mikro ditinjau dari Non Performing Loan pada PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk Unit Sarua Cabang Ciputat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pendekatan kuantitatif. Obyek Penelitian pada penelitian ini yaitu Risiko kredit mikro pada PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk .Tipe Penelitian yang dipakai dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian Deskriptif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah kredit Macet dan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah Laporan Perkembangan Unit (LPU) periode januari sampai Desember 2012. Penelitian ini hanya melibatkan satu variabel sebagai obyek penelitian yaitu Tingkat Risiko kredit. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian di atas maka tingkat risiko PT. Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Unit Sarua Cabang Ciputat berada pada kategori sedang.

The purpose of this research is to analyze micro-loan risk level reviewed by Non-Performing Loan at PT. Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Limited Company) Tbk of Sarua Unit, Ciputat Branch-Office. This research used the method of quantitative approach. The object of research is the risk of Micro Loan at PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk. Type of research applied is descriptive research. Population on this research is non-performing loan and the sample of this research is Unit Progress Report for period of January - December 2012. This research just involves one variable as research object namely Loan Risk Level. Based on the result of result abovementioned, then risk level of PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk of Sarua Unit, Ciputat Branch Office stands is on medium/middle category."
