"Pantai merupakan kenampakan muka bumi yang bersifat dinamis disebabkan oleh proses-proses yang berasal dari daratan maupun lautan. Perubahan garis pantai merupakan pergeseran letak garis pantai dari kedudukan semula. Jenis perubahan garis pantai berupa abrasi dan akresi yang disebabkan oleh faktor alami dan manusia. Pesisir Teluk Jakarta terdapat banyak muara sungai, diantaranya tiga sungai besar yaitu Ci Sadane dibagian barat, Ci Liwung dibagian tengah dan Ci Tarum dibagian Timur, serta berkembang berbagai aktivitas manusia sepanjang pesisir Teluk Jakarta. Permasalahan yang dikaji yaitu bagaimana perubahan garis pantai di Teluk Jakarta.Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui perubahan garis pantai dan faktor yang mempengaruhi perubahan tersebut serta penggunaan tanah pada wilayah yang mengalami abrasi dan akresi. Dengan metode overlay peta, selanjutnya melakukan analisis perubahannya pada zona barat, zona tengah dan zona timur. Secara keseluruhan berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data tahun 1970-2009 (39 tahun) proses perubahan yang terjadi adalah akresi sebesar 2000 - 2100 Ha dan abrasi sebesar kurang dari 1000 Ha. Akresi dengan luasan yang besar berada di zona timur yaitu pantai sekitar muara Ci Beel dengan kondisi laut yang dangkal yaitu di daerah Babelan, Bekasi. Penggunaan tanah di wilayah yang mengalami abrasi dan akresi umumnya adalah tambak.

The coastline is a land form that is dynamic because of the processes which come from the sea as well as from the land. Change in the coastline is the shifting position of the beach from its former place. There are many types of changes in the movement of coastlines that are caused by many factors whether they are natural or human factors. The coastline of Jakarta Bay consists of many estuaries from streams, which includes the Ci Sadane in the west, Ci Liwung in the center, and Ci Tarum in the east, as well as developments of human activity across the coastline. The problem at this research is how the coastline changes in Jakarta Bay.

The aim of this study is know the changes of the coastline and the influencing factors and the land use in areas that are experiencing abrasion and accretion. Using the overlay mapping method, the study is then continued by analyzing the changes in the west zone, central zone, and east zone. Overall, according to the results of the data processing from 1970-2009 (39 years) the change occurring indicates accretion as large as 2000-2100 hectares and abrasion less than 1000 hectares. The largest accretion process with the largest area is in the east zone that is the coast around outfall Ci Beel with the condition of shallow sea in the Babelan area, Bekasi. Land use in the area that experiences abrasion and accretion in general is the pond area."
