"ABSTRAKTren fashion kontemporer Korea telah banyak mengalami perubahan dan menjadi sangat dinamis seiring dengan berjalannya waktu. Perubahan dalam tren fashion kontemporer Korea terjadi secara siginifikan karena adanya pengaruh dari berbagai faktor baik faktor internal maupun faktor eksternal. Penelitian ini menjelaskan tentang bagaimana perubahan tren fashion kontemporer Korea terjadi. Dengan metode penelitian kualitiatif melalui pendekatan eksternal secara deskriptif, studi ini ditujukan untuk menunjukan adanya perubahan tren fashion kotemporer Korea yang cukup siginifikan. Adapun kesimpulan dari studi ini adalah perubahan tren fashion di Korea periode 1990 hingga 2000 dipicu adanya faktor internal dan eksternal. Kebijakan-kebijakan pemerintah mengenai ekspansi budaya yang diterapkan mulai tahun 1990an hingga 2000an menjadi awal perubahan tren fashion sebagai bagian dari konten budaya unggulan Korea. Sedangkan faktor eksternalnya adalah westernisasi budaya dan gaya berpakaian Barat yang masuk ke Semenanjung Korea sejak masa kolonialisasi Jepang. Faktor lain yang mempengaruhi perubahan tersebut adalah budaya subkultur di kalangan kaum muda melalui budaya musik populer

ABSTRACTAs the time goes by South Korea contemporary fashion trend has undergo many changes and has become very dynamic. The change in South Korea contemporary fashion trend happened significantly because of the various influence both from the internal or from the external. This research explains about how the change of Korea contemporary fashion trend happened. Using a qualitative research method with external prespective and a descriptive explaination, the goal of this study is to show and explain the siginificant change happened in Korea contemporary fashion trend. The conclusion shows that the change of Korea contemporary fashion tren during the 1990 until 2000 is caused by an internal and external factors. Government cultural policy about culture expansion in 1990s until 2000s become the outset change of fashion trend as a part of South Korea high end cultural content. On the other hand, the external factor is the westernization of western cluture and fashion style which entered the Korea Peninsula during Japanese colonization period. The other factor that influlenced the change is the growth of subculture culture in between young people through popular music. "

"ABSTRAKGenerasi Sampo merupakan salah satu istilah yang muncul pada awal 2010an untuk menggambarkan keadaan masyarakat usia dewasa muda dalam periode tersebut. Istilah ini menunjukkan adanya masyarakat yang menyerah untuk memiliki kekasih, menikah, dan memiliki anak yang disebabkan oleh satu dan lain hal. Padahal, ketiganya merupakan hal yang dipikirkan dan dilakukan oleh manusia sejak dahulu. Pandangan mereka mulai berubah karena adanya berbagai masalah yang dihadapi, tingginya standar hidup, dan gaya hidup masyarakat modern di Korea Selatan. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui asal mula Generasi Sampo dan memaknainya dikaitkan dengan gaya hidup masyarakat Korea Selatan modern. Karya tulis ini disusun dengan metode deskriptif analisis untuk menjelaskan munculnya Generasi Sampo sebagai sebuah fenomena sosial di Korea Selatan. Setelah dilakukan analisis, ditemukan bahwa fenomena ini terjadi karena adanya impitan ekonomi dan gaya hidup masyarakat modern Korea Selatan.

ABSTRACTSampo Generation is a term that appeared in early 2010s to depict young adults at that time. This term shows that there are some people who give up on having a romantic partner, be married, and having children because of some circumstances even though this practice had been done since long time ago. Their views about it had been change because of problems they faced, high standard of living, and lifestyle that the modern society take. This research was conducted to find out the origin of Sampo Generation and to comprehend it after associating this phenomenon with the lifestyle of South Korean modern society. This paper is written based on descriptive analysis method to explain how Sampo Generation emerged as a social phenomenon in South Korea. After a thorough analysis, the authors discovered that this phenomenon happened because of economical stress and lifestyles that the South Korean modern society faced."
