"Tujuan utama penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat hubungan antara parental support dan status identitas mahasiswa. Sampel penelitian ini merupakan 460 mahasiswa (172 laki-laki dan 288 perempuan) dengan usia terbanyak partisipan 21 tahun (34%). Para responden diminta untuk mengisi self-report pada The Extended Objective Measure of Ego Identity Status-Version 2 (EOM-EIS II) dan the revised Children's Report of Parental Behavior Inventory revised (CRPBI). Hasil analisis menggunakan Pearson's Correlation menemukan bahwa parental support berhubungan secara signifikan dengan status identitas foreclosure dan status identitas achievement. Selain itu, parental support tidak memiliki hubungan yang signifikan dengan status identitas diffusion dan status identitas moratorium. Pada kelompok mahasiswa perempuan ditemukan hubungan yang signifikan antara parental support dan status identitas foreclosure. Sedangkan pada kelompok laki-laki ditemukan hubungan yang signifikan antara parental support dan status identitas foreclosure serta status identitas achievement.

The main objective of this study is to see the relationship between parental support and identity status among undergraduate students in University of Indonesia. The sample of this study are 460 undergraduate students (172 male dan 288 female) with most of the participant's age being 21 years old (34%). The participants are asked to fill in a self-report on The Extended Objective Measure of Ego Identity Status-Version 2 (EOM-EIS II) and the revised Children's Report of Parental Behavior Inventory revised (CRPBI). The result of this study using Pearson's Correlation showed that parental support have a significant relationship with foreclosure identity status and also achievement identity status. Parental support does not have a significant relationship with diffusion identity status and moratorium identity status. With female students, it is found that there is a significant relationship between parental support and foreclosure identity status. In male students, it is found that there is a relationship between parental support and foreclosure identity status and also achievement identity status."

"Penelitian ini didasari oleh adanya perbedaan pembentukan identitas pada remaja yang kemudian berpengaruh kepada status identitas yang didapatkan oleh remaja terutama yang telah memasuki dunia perkuliahan. Perbedaan ini salah satunya dipengaruhi oleh hubungan antara orangtua dengan anaknya. Perilaku yang ditunjukkan orangtua kepada remaja dapat berbentuk parental psychological control yang merupakan salah satu dimensi utama yang paling berpengaruh terhadap keberfungsian anak. Pengukuran ini bertujuan melihat apakah terdapat hubungan antara parental psychological control dan status identitas diri pada mahasiswa Universitas Indonesia. Responden pada penelitian ini sebanyak 399 mahasiswa yang diperoleh dengan teknik accidental sampling. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara parental psychological control dan moratorium (r= 0,236, p<0,01, one tailed), foreclosure (r= -0,118, p<0,01, one tailed), dan diffusion (r= 0,169, p<0,01, one tailed). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, diharapkan orangtua dapat lebih berhati-hati dalam memilih perilaku yang ditujukan kepada anaknya supaya dapat mendukung anak dalam mencapai identitas.

This study was based on the phenomenon about the differences on adolescents identity formation that have an effect to one?s identity status, especially college student. This differences is being influence by the relationship between parents and their child. Parental psychological control is one of a key dimension of parenting that have the most effect on child functioning. This study aim to see is there any relationship between parental psychological control and self identity statuses among Universitas Indonesia college student. In this study we use 399 participants that we collect through accidental sampling technique. Result found that there is a relationship between parental psychological control and moratorium (r= 0,236, p<0,01, two tailed), foreclosure (r= -0,118, p<0,01, one tailed), and diffusion (r= 0,169, p<0,01, one tailed). Based on this study, we expect parents to be more careful when it comes to choose what parental behaviors will be used, so that they can help their children to achieved identity."

"Parental support dan psychological control merupakan dimensi dari perilaku orangtua yang umumnya digunakan untuk menjelaskan perilaku orangtua dalam konteks perkembangan anak. Parental support didefinisikan sebagai tingkat penerimaan atau kehangatan yang diekspresikan orangtua kepada anak (Bean, Barber, dan Crane, 2006) dan psychological control didefinisikan sebagai kendali oleh orangtua yang dapat menganggu perkembangan psikologis dan emosi pada anak (Barber, 1996). Perilaku orangtua memiliki peran penting dalam perkembangan identitas moral di masa remaja (Lapsley dan Stey, 2014) dan ditemukan dapat memprediksi identitas moral (Hart, 2005). Identitas moral didefinisikan sebagai tingkatan penting tidaknya menjadi bermoral bagi seseorang (Blasi, 1983). Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara parental support dan psychological control dengan identitas moral pada remaja akhir. Partisipan penelitian berjumlah 347 remaja akhir. Alat ukur Children’s Report of Parent Behavior (CRPBI) digunakan untuk mengukur parental support dan Psychological Control Scale-Youth Self-Report (PCS-YSR) digunakan untuk mengukur psychological control. Identitas moral diukur dengan Moral Identity Questionnaire (MIQ). Hasil penelitian menunjukan terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara parental support dan identitas moral pada remaja akhir (r = .186, p = .001) dan terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara psychological control dan identitas moral pada remaja akhir (r = -.178, p = .001). Hal tersebut menunjukkan pentingnya peran orangtua dalam pembentukan identitas moral di masa remaja akhir.

Parental support and psychological control are dimensions of parenting that generally used to explain parental behavior in child development context. Parental support defined as the level of acceptance or warmth that parents express toward their children (Bean, Barber, dan Crane, 2006) and psychological control defined as control attempts that intrude into the psychological and emotional development of the child (Barber, 1996). Parental behavior play an important role in moral identity development during adolescence (Lapsley dan Stey, 2014) and have been found to be predictive of moral identity (Hart, 2005). Moral Identity defined as the extent to which being moral is central or essential to one’s sense of self (Blasi, 1983). This research was conducted to find the relationship between parental support and psychological control with moral identity among late adolescence. Participants of this research were 347 late adolescents. Children’s Report of Parent Behavior (CRPBI) was used to measure parental support and Psychological Control Scale-Youth Self-Report (PCS-YSR) was used to measure psychological control. Moral Identity was measured using Moral Identity Questionnaire (MIQ). The result show significant correlation between parental support and moral identity among late adolescence (r = .186, p = .001) and also show significant correlation between psychological control and moral identity among late adolescence (r = -.178, p = .001). This results show parent has an important role in moral identity development in late adolescence."

"Kesehatan mental dibutuhkan mahasiswa psikologi terkait persiapan mereka untuk berkecimpung dalam helping profession. Dukungan sosial, terutama perceived social support, dan self-esteem dapat memengaruhi kesehatan mental (Taylor & Brown, 1988; Vinokur, Schul, & Caplan, 1987; Zimet, Dahlem, Zimet & Farley 1988). Berbagai penelitian menemukan semakin tinggi perceived social support seseorang, semakin tinggi self-esteem yang dimiliki. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara perceived social support dan selfesteem mahasiswa psikologi jenjang sarjana. Perceived social support diukur dengan Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (Zimet et al., 1988) dan self-esteem dengan Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale (Rosenberg, 1965). Dari 184 mahasiswa jenjang sarjana Fakultas Psikologi Universitas Indonesia yang menjadi partisipan, hasil yang didapatkan menunjukkan adanya hubungan positif yang signifikan antara perceived social support dan self-esteem pada mahasiswa psikologi jenjang sarjana (r = 0.274; p < 0.01). Berdasarkan hasil, pendidikan psikologi dapat memerhatikan perceived social support sebagai salah satu cara meningkatkan self-esteem mahasiswa, seperti dengan melakukan intervensi psikoedukasi.

Psychology students need good mental health to be a helping professional. Social support, especially perceived social support, and self-esteem found to influence mental health (Taylor & Brown, 1988; Vinokur, Schul, & Caplan, 1987; Zimet, Dahlem, Zimet & Farley 1988). Recent studies found that people with higher level of perceived social support are having higher level of self-esteem. This research was conducted to find the relation between perceived social support and self-esteem in undergraduate psychology students. Perceived social support was measured using Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (Zimet et al., 1988) and self-esteem was measured using Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale (Rosenberg, 1965). The participants of this research are 184 University of Indonesia undergraduate psychology students. The main results of this research show that perceived social support correlated significantly with self-esteem (r = 0.274; p < 0.01). Results of this study may be taken by psychology educational institution to increase the concern of perceived social support as one of the factor to increase their students’ self-esteem level, for example is by making a psychoeducational intervention."

Peran dan keterlibatan orang tua pada mahasiswa tingkat akhir, khususnya di budaya kolektivis, berpengaruh terhadap perilaku anak dalam mencari informasi mengenai karier dan hal ini berdampak pada tingkat kesulitan pengambilan keputusan karier anak karena kurangnya informasi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat peran career exploration dalam memediasi hubungan antara support dan interference parental career-related behavior dengan lack of information career decision-making difficulties pada mahasiswa tingkat akhir. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian non-eksperimental. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini adalah 413 mahasiswa tingkat akhir dari beberapa fakultas di Universitas Indonesia. Support dan interference parental career-related behavior diukur dengan Parental Career-Related Behavior Instrument (Dietrich & Kracke, 2009), career exploration diukur dengan Career Exploration Survey (Stumpf, Colarelli, & Hartman, 1983), dan lack of information career decision-making difficulties diukur dengan Career Decision-Making Difficulties Questionnaire (Gati & Saka, 2001). Hasil menunjukkan bahwa career exploration berperan secara parsial dalam memediasi hubungan antara support dan interference parental career-related behavior dengan lack of information career decision-making difficulties pada mahasiswa tingkat akhir. Penelitian ini memiliki implikasi bahwa perilaku orang tua terkait karier anak yang dirasa mendukung (support) atau terlalu banyak mengatur (interference) dapat berpengaruh terhadap perilaku mahasiswa tingkat akhir dalam mencari informasi mengenai karier sehingga berdampak pada tingkat kesulitan pengambilan keputusan karier mahasiswa karena kurangnya informasi. Selain itu, hasil penelitian ini memberikan beberapa manfaat bagi pusat pengembangan karier di perguruan tinggi.

The difficulties of career decision-making among senior year college student could have impact their future career success. In Indonesia, The difficulties of career decision-making among senior year college student are more caused by lack of information. The parents role and involvement among senior year college student, especially in collectivism culture, could affect their childrens behavior in searching information about career and this could have impacts to their career decision-making difficulties that caused by lack of information. This research was conducted to find the role career exploration in mediating the relationship between support and interference parental career-related behavior with lack of information career decision-making difficulties on senior year college student. This research is quantitative study with non-experimental study design. Participants of this research were 413 senior year college students from several faculties in Universitas Indonesia. Support dan interference parental career-related behavior were measured by Parental Career-Related Behavior Instrument (Dietrich & Kracke, 2009), career exploration was measured by Career Exploration Survey (Stumpf, Colarelli, & Hartman, 1983), and lack of information career decision-making difficulties were measured by Career Decision-Making Difficulties Questionnaire (Gati & Saka, 2001). The result shows that career exploration mediating partially the relationship between support and interference parental career-related behavior with lack of information career decision-making difficulties on senior year college student. This research has implication that parents behavior that related to childrens career which is perceived supporting or interfering affects senior year college students behavior in searching information about career so that gives impact on their level of career decision-making difficulties that caused by lack of information. Moreover, the results of this study give some benefits for career development center in university."

"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan antara preferensi pakaian dan status identitas pada remaja laki-laki dan perempuan. Dalam mencapai kejelasan identitas diperlukan eksplorasi dan komitmen. Perbedaan individu dalam melakukan kedua hal tersebut selanjutnya dikenal sebagai status identitas. Salah satu sarana yang dapat digunakan untuk melakukan eksplorasi adalah pakaian. Walaupun demikian, belum ada penelitian yang membahas hubungan dari preferensi pakaian dan status identitas. Dalam penelitian ini terdapat 82 partisipan laki-laki dan 104 partisipan perempuan yang dilibatkan. Alat ukur preferensi pakaian digunakan untuk menggambarkan preferensi pakaian partisipan dan Extended Version of the Objective Measureof Ego-Identity Status (EOM EIS II) digunakan untuk mengukur status identitas. Hasil utama penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara preferensi pakaian dan status identitas pada remaja laki-laki dan perempuan. Sementara, hasil yang sama juga terjadi pada pengujian hubungan antara status identitas dan subtahap usia remaja.

This study aimed to examine the relationship between clothing preference and identity status in adolescent boys and girls. In achieving identity, exploration and commitment is necessary. Individual differences in doing both of these are known as identity status. One of the tools that can be used to carry out exploration is clothing. However, no studies have addressed the relationship of clothing preferences and identity status. In this study, 82 male participants and 104 female participants were included. The clothing preference measuring tool used to describe clothing preference of the participants and EOM EIS II used to measure identity status. The main result of the study showed that there is no significant relationship between clothing preference and identity status in boys and girls adolescent. Meanwhile, the same result also occurs in testing the relationship between identity status and adolescence substages"

"ABSTRAK
Shame dan Identitas moral berperan memotivasi perilaku moral individu. Sebagai bagian dari identitas diri, identitas moral diduga dipengaruhi oleh shame, tetapi belum ada penelitian yang membuktikan hal tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memeriksa hubungan antara shame dan identitas moral. Variabel shame diukur dengan alat ukur Test of self-Conscious Affect-3 dari Tangney & Dearing, tahun 2002, yang telah diadaptasi ke konteks budaya Indonesia, sedangkan variabel identitas moral diukur dengan alat ukur Moral Identity Questionnaire dari Black & Reynolds tahun 2016, yang juga telah diadaptasi ke dalam Bahasa Indonesia. Partisipan penelitian merupakan mahasiswa dari berbagai daerah di Indonesia, berjumlah 520 orang partisipan. Hasil analisis statistik menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara shame dan identitas moral, (r=0,149; p<0,01). Penelaahan lebih lanjut terkait hasil tersebut kemudian dilakukan.

ABSTRAK
Individual moral behavior is motivated by shame and moral identity. As a part of self-identity, moral identity is assumed to be influenced by shame, but there is no research proving the assumption. This study aims to evaluate the relation between shame and moral identity. Test of Self-Conscious Affect-3 from Tangney & Dearing (2002) used to measure shame and Moral Identity Questionnaire from Black & Reynolds (2016) used to measure moral identity has been adapted to Bahasa Indonesia. The participants of the study were 520 students from different regions in Indonesia. The result showed small but significant relation between shame and moral identity (r=0,149; p<0,01). Further implications were discussed.

"Dunia pekerjaan yang saat ini terus berubah menuntut individu yang berada dalam masa transisi karier memiliki sumber daya untuk beradaptasi dalam dunia pekerjaan, terlebih pada mahasiswa tingkat akhir. Meski telah banyak ditemukan berpengaruh positif terhadap adaptabilitas karier, masih terdapat inkonsistensi hubungan antara dukungan sosial terhadap adaptabilitas karier. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat peran ketiga dimensi identitas vokasional, sebagai faktor internal individu, dalam memediasi hubungan antara dukungan sosial dan adaptabilitas karier. Partisipan penelitian merupakan 466 mahasiswa tingkat akhir di perguruan tinggi mengisi kuesioner Career Adapt-Abilities Scale-Indonesian Form, Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support, dan Vocational Identity Status Assessment. Analisis mediasi dengan PROCESS menunjukkan dukungan sosial memiliki hubungan signifikan dengan adaptabilitas karier (b = 0,40, t(466) = 3,16, p < 0,01). Analisis mediasi menunjukkan bahwa dua dari tiga dimensi identitas vokasional memediasi secara sebagian hubungan antara dukungan sosial dan adaptabilitas karier pada mahasiswa tingkat akhir, yakni dimensi career exploration (b = 0,19, 95% CI = [0,13-0,26]) dan dimensi career commitment (b = 0,18, 95% CI = [0,13-0,25]). Di sisi lain, tidak ditemukan peran mediasi dari dimensi career reconsideration dari identitas vokasional.

The everchanging world of work nowadays requires individuals who are in career transition period to have the resources to adapt, especially for final year students. Although many studies have found its positive role, there are still contradictory and inconsistent findings of the relationship between social support and career adaptability. This study was aimed to see the role of the three vocational identity dimensions, as individual internal factors, in mediating the relationship between social support and career adaptability. Participants in this study were 466 final year university students who filled questionnaires consisting of Career Adapt-Abilities Scale-Indonesian Form, Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support, dan Vocational Identity Status Assessment. Mediation analysis using PROCESS confirmed that social support had a positive and significant relationship with career adaptability (b = 0,40, t(466) = 3,16, p < 0,01). Mediation analysis revealed that two of the three dimensions of vocational identity played a mediating role in the relationship of social support and career adaptability, namely career exploration (b = 0,19, 95% CI = [0,13-0,26]) and career commitment (b = 0,18, 95% CI = [0,13-0,25]). However, mediating role of career reconsideration dimension were not proven in this study."

"Didasari oleh fenomena maraknya perilaku seks bebas pada remaja di Indonesia, peneliti mencurigai bahwa adanya hubungan antara perilaku seks bebas dan status identitas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan antara romantic attachment styles dan status identitas pada remaja akhir. Romantic attachment styles merupakan pola dari berbagai harapan, kebutuhan, emosi, dan perilaku sosial pada figur attachment (pacar) sebagai hasil dari pengalaman attachment pada masa lalu yang biasanya diawali dari hubungan dengan orangtua (Fraley dan Shaver, 2000). Status identitas diartikan sebagai adanya eksplorasi dan komitmen pada ranah pekerjaan dan ideologi (Marcia, 1993). Romantic attachment styles responden diukur dengan alat ukur Experience in Close Relationship-Short Form yang dikembangkan oleh Wei, Russell, Mallinckrodt, dan Vogel (2007) dan diadaptasi oleh Wardani (2015). Status identitas diukur dengan alat ukur Extended Objective Measure of Ego Identity Status yang dikembangkan oleh Adams & Benion (1994). Responden dalam penelitian ini adalah 184 remaja akhir berusia 18-21 tahun. Based on the phenomena of free sex among adolescents in Indonesia, researchers suspect that there is correlation between free sex and identity status. This study is aimed to examine the relationtionship between romantic attachment styles and identity status in late adolescents. Romantic attachment styles are patterns of expectations, needs, emotions, and social behavior in attachment figure as the results of the experience of attachment in the past which usually starts with the relationship with parents (Fraley and Shaver, 2000). Identity statuses were the presence of crisis and commitment in the areas of occupation and ideology (Marcia, 1993). Romantic attachment styles respondents was measured by using Experience in Close Relationship-Short Form which was developed by Wei, Russel, Mallinckrodt, and Vogel (2007) and had been adapted by Wardani (2015). Identity status was measured by using Extended Objective Measure of Ego Identity Status which was developed by Adams & Benion (1994). Respondents of this research were 184 late adolescents in aged 18 to 21 years old. The result of this research shows that there is a significant correlation between romantic attachment styles and identity status in the late adolescents.

"ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk melihat hubungan antara keterlibatan orang tua dan keterampilan pemahaman bacaan, baik tingkat kognitif maupun metakognitif, pada siswa SD kelas 3 dengan status sosial ekonomi rendah. Pengukuran keterlibatan orang tua dilakukan menggunakan alat ukur yang diadaptasi dari Parental Support for Learning Scale PSLS yang disusun oleh Rogers, Markel, Midgett, Ryan, dan Tannock 2014 . Pemahaman bacaan tingkat kognitif diukur menggunakan alat ukur Indonesia Membaca yang dikembangkan oleh Save the Children 2015 . Kemudian pemahaman bacaan tingkat metakognitif diukur dengan alat ukur milik Royanto 2012 dengan menggunakan protokol membaca dengan topik burung hantu. Partisipan pada penelitian ini adalah 31 siswa kelas 3 SD yang tinggal di Kabupaten Indamayu, Jawa Barat. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah partial correlation karena inteligensi anak merupakan variabel yang dikontrol. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada hubungan antara keterlibatan orang tua dan keterampilan pemahaman bacaan, baik pada tingkat kognitif maupun metakognitif. Selain itu, ditemukan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara lama belajar anak di rumah dan keterlibatan orang tua.

ABSTRACT
The objective of this research is to investigate the relationship between parental involvement and reading comprehension, in cognitive and metacognitive level, on elementary students grade 3 with low socioeconomic status. Parental involvement is measured with adaptation of Parental Support for Learning Scale PSLS which was created by Rogers, Markel, Midgett, Ryan, dan Tannock 2014 . Reading comprehension in cognitive level is measured with Indonesia Membaca scale created by Save the Children 2015 . Reading comprehension in metacognitive level is measured with reading comprehension scale created by Royanto 2012 which use reading passages to investigate metacognitive strategies. Characteristic of this research participant is 3rd grade elementary school in Indramayu Regency, West Java N 31 . This study is using partial correlation for statistical analysis because intelligence variable is being controlled. The result showed that there is no significant correlation between parental involvement and reading comprehension in cognitive and metacognitive level. Results also indicated that child rsquo s duration of study at home correlated with parental involvement. Further research will discuss about these variables."
