"Budaya makan bersama menjadi salah satu ciri khas dari nilai budaya masyarakat Korea. Khususnya di dalam budaya perusahaan Korea, budaya makan bersama ini ditunjukkan melalui budaya hoesik. Nilainilai kebersamaan di dalam budaya makan bersama ini bersumber dari ajaran Konfusianisme yang secara tradisi telah menjadi pedoman nilai dan etika masyarakat dalam berperilaku dan bersikap. Seiring dengan perkembangan zaman, pertumbuhan solo economy di masyarakat Korea telah menciptakan tren gaya hidup honbap yang turut mempengaruhi aspek sosial masyarakat Korea dan budaya hoesik. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh tren honbap terhadap perubahan gaya hidup masyarakat Korea dengan studi kasus budaya hoesik di Korea. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif-analisis berdasarkan sumber data studi pustaka. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa perkembangan tren honbap yang terjadi pada masyarakat Korea menyebabkan perubahan pola perilaku para pekerja terhadap budaya hoesik. Dengan dilatarbelakangi berbagai alasan, para pekerja kini lebih memilih honbap dibandingkan mengikuti kegiatan hoesik.

The culture of eating together becomes one of an identity of the cultural value in Korean society. Especially in Korean corporate culture, the culture of eating together is demonstrated through hoesik culture. The value of togetherness in eating together culture is derived from Confucian teaching which traditionally has become a guideline of the values and ethics in societies to behave. Along with the times, the growth of the solo economy in Korean society has created the honbap lifestyle trend, and it affects the Korean social aspect and the hoesik culture as well. Therefore, the study aims to analyze the influence of honbap trend on Korean society`s lifestyle change through a case study of hoesik culture. The research method used in this writing is descriptive-analysis research methods based on library research data sources. The results showed that the evolution of honbap trend in Korean society has led to the changing of workers behavior patterns toward hoesik culture. Due to various reasons, workers nowadays prefer doing honbap over participating in hoesik events."

"Tulisan ini membahas mengenai pergeseran makna cantik dalam masyarakat Korea Selatan dari zaman Joseon menuju zaman modern. Korea merupakan suatu negara yang terletak di Asia Timur dan termasuk kedalam ras Mongoloid yang mempunyai sejarah panjang dan karena derasnya arus globalisasi dan modernisasi yang berkembang dengan cepat di negara tersebut, masyarakat Korea mulai menerima ideologi dan juga perspektif baru yang banyak mendapat pengaruh dari bangsa Barat. Termasuk di dalamnya adalah apa yang disebut cantik di dalam masyarakat Korea Selatan sendiri. Penelitian yang dilakukan memakai metode kualitatif, dengan menggunakan beberapa acuan ilmiah yang berkaitan dengan topik pembahasan yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui perubahan pandangan tentang cantik dalam masyarakat Korea Selatan. Dari hasil analisis diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa Barat mempunyai pengaruh yang sangat besar terhadap nilai kecantikan dalam Masyarakat Korea.

This reseach study is about the shifted meaning of beauty in South Korea rsquo s Society from Joseon era to modern times. South Korea is a country that is located in East Asia and it belongs to Mongoloid race that has a long history but due to the rapid flow of globalization and rapidly growing modernization in the country, Korean society began to accept new ideology as well as new perspectives which strongly influenced by western and that includes the meaning of beauty in South Korea rsquo s society. This research done by using qualitative method and aims to determine the changing views about beauty in South Korea rsquo s society and the result of the analysis shows that the West has a very big impacts or influence on the value of beauty in the current South Korea rsquo s society."
