"Penelitian ini membahas mengenai persepsi risiko bahaya kimia pada pekerja sektor informal tahun 2014. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif dengan menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif yang menggunakan kuesioner ceklis untuk menilai variabel-variabel independen. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk melihat gambaran persepsi terhadap risiko bahaya kimia beserta gambaran faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan persepsi risiko bahaya kimia, diantaranya pengalaman, kesukarelaan, ketakutan, pengendalian, potensi dampak, dan kondisi lingkungan kerja. Penelitian ini juga dilakukan untuk melihat gambaran perbandingan persepsi pekerja terhadap risiko bahaya kimia di kedua tempat industri informal yaitu industri penyamakan kulit dan industri sablon.
Hasil penelitian menggambarkan bahwa secara umum persepsi risiko bahaya kimia pada pekerja sektor informal sudah baik, walaupun masih ada beberapa pekerja yang memiliki persepsi yang buruk terhadap risiko bahaya kimia. Berdasarkan lokasi kerja, persepsi risiko bahaya kimia pada pekerja sablon lebih baik dibandingkan dengan pekerja penyamakan kulit. Persepsi yang baik pada pekerja dikedua tempat ini didapatkan karena : pekerja sudah memiliki pengalaman yang baik terkait kejadian risiko bahaya kimia, sukarela menerima risiko bahaya kimia, memiliki ketakutan terhadap risiko bahaya kimia, pekerja merasa mampu mengendalikan risiko bahaya kimia, menilai risiko bahaya kimia sebagai risiko yang berpotensi katastropik, dan menilai lingkungan kerja sudah aman dari risiko bahaya kimia.

This research describes risk perception of chemical hazard on the informal sector worker 2014. This is a descriptive study that uses quantitative research methods with quesionnaire checklist as research instrument. Quesionnaire checklist used to assess the independent variabels. The purpose of this study is to see the overview of risk perception of chemical hazard and factors related to perception, such as experience, voluntary, dread, control, effect, and work environment. This study also looked at differences in workers perception between leather industry and shirt screen printing industry.
The result of this study show that generally risk perception of chemical hazard on informal sector is good, although there are some workers who still have bad risk perception of chemical hazard. Based on the work location, the risk perception of chemical hazard to shirt screen printing worker is better than leather worker. Workers’ good perception can be achieve because they have good experience about chemical hazard, voluntarily accept the risks of chemical hazard, they are afraid of the risk of chemical hazard, workers assume that they can control the risk of chemical hazard, they assume the risk of chemical hazard as a result of catastropic, and they also assume that their working environment was safe from the risk of chemical hazard.

"Tujuan dari tesis adalah untuk mengetahui apakah dimensi dari kompetensi personil SHE mempengaruhi proses capturing knowledge akar penyebab kecelakaan yang terjadi di PT.XYZ dan kemudian bagaimana rancangan intervensi yang tepat untuk meningkatkan capturing knowledge akar penyebab kecelakaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif. Pengumpulan data primer dikumpulkan kuesioner kompetensi. Kuesioner ini disusun dari lima dimensi kompetensi (motives, traits, self-concept, knowledge, skill) untuk menggambarkan faktor yang paling berperan terhadap proses knowledge capturing. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa dimensi yang mempengaruhi knowledge capturing personil SHE adalah dimensi trait, dan intervensi yang dilakukan untuk meningkatkan dimensi tersebut sehingga dapat meningkatkan kompetensi personil SHE adalah Gathering (at Annual Mgt. Meeting), Internal Site Gathering, Training, Coaching, Work Design, and Performance Appraisal.

The purpose of these Thesis is to discover whether the dimension of SHE?s personnel competency affects in process knowledge capture of incident root cause at PT.XYZ and what is the correct intervention design to enrich the knowledge capture of incident root cause. This research is using the quantitative method and the collection of primary data is by competency questionnaire. The questionnaire was prepared from five dimension of competency (motives, traits, self-concept, knowledge, skill) to describe the factors that most contribute in knowledge capture process. Results of the research stated that dimension which affecting in knowledge capturing of SHE?s personnel is trait dimension, and intevention that needed to enrich those dimension with the result of increasing the SHE?s personnel competency is Gathering (at Annual Mgt. Meeting), Internal Site Gathering, Training, Coaching, Work Design, and Performance Appraisal.

"Manajemen suatu perusahaan memiliki peran utama dalam mewujudkan kecelakaan kerja nihil (zero accidengi di tempat kerja. Upaya tersebut harus dilaksanakan melalui sebuah kesisteman yang dikenal sebagai Sistem Manajemen Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (SMK3). Selain komitmen manajemen, untuk mencapai tujuan secara optimal daiam pelaksanaan SMK3 juga diperiukan dukungan karyawan, diantaranya dengan selalu berupaya untuk berperilaku selamat dan mencegah adanya perilaku tidak selamat. Perilaku tidak selamat diyakini merupakan faktor utama penyebab terjadinya kecelakaan kerja. Untuk itu, penting dilakukan kajian atau studi tentang perilaku tidak selamat sehingga dapat dilakukan intervensi program Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja.
Penelitian tesis ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan perilaku tidak selamat karyawan bagian produksi dan pemeliharaan Iapangan panas bumi Gunung Salak tahun 2007. Desain peneiitian ini adalah dengan pendekatan cross-sectional. Jumlah sampel dalam peneiitian ini adalah sebanyak 75 responden.
Dari hasil peneiitian didapatkan kesimpulan bahwa perilaku tidak selamat karyawan bagian Produksi dan Pemeliharaan Iapangan panas bumi Gunung Salak masih perlu dikurangi dan dicegah secara terus-menerus. Faktor internal yang berhubungan dengan perilaku tidak Selamat adalah persepsi terhadap risiko kerja, motivasi berperilaku tidak Selamat, dan kepatuhan terhadap peraturan; sedangkan pengetahuan tentang bahaya di tempat kerja dan faktor eksternal (meliputi pelatihan K3, komunikasi tentang bahaya dan pengawasan dari supervisor) tidak terbukti memiliki hubungan bermakna_ dengan perilaku tidak Selamat di tempat kerja.
Disarankan perlu adanya upaya yang berkelanjutan untuk mencegah munculnya perilaku tidak Selamat dengan lebih memperhatikan aspek motivasi, persepsi, dan kepatuhan terhadap peraturan, sebagai contoh melalui program rewards dan punishment, pelatiahn dan sosialisasi peraturan, dan program pengembangan Budaya K3 di tempat kerja secara terus menerus. Selain itu, diharapkan bahwa penerapan program behavior-based safety dapat meningkatkan motivasi, persepsi, dan kepatuhan karyawan untuk berperilaku Selamat.

A company management has a main role to achieve a zero incident in the workplace. The efforts shall be done through implementation of an Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHS-MS). Beside management commitment, to achieve a successful implementation of an OHMS. workers' support will always be critical, such as with always enforcing safe behavior and preventing unsafe behavior. Unsafe behavior is the main factor causing workplace incident. Therefore, a study or research on unsafe behavior is critical, so that intervention program, may then be needed.
The objectives of this study is to explore factors relates to unsafe behavior of employees of Production and Maintenance departments of the Gunung Salak geothennal field in 2007. This study design is an analytical survey with a cross- sectional method. The number of sample is 75 respondents.
The study results that unsafe behavior exists in the Production and Maintenance department of Gunung Salak geothennal Held, and needs to be eliminated and or prevented. lntemal factors that contribute to the unsafe behavior are perception of job-risk, motivation for working unsafe, and compliance to policy and procedure; whereas, the knowledge of hazard/risk, as well as extemal factors (i.e. safety training, hazard/risk communication, and supervision) are proved not to have signihcant contribution or relation, to the unsafe behavior.
lt would then be recommended to develop a program on preventing unsafe behavior that emphasizes on motivation, perception, and compliance assurance aspects; such as rewards and punishment, training and socialization of policies and procedures, as well as building a HES culture continuously and sustainably. It is also believed that the implementation of Behavior-based Safety program would help improve the motivation, perception, and compliance ofthe employees to work safely.

"Tren penggunaan tenaga kerja kontraktor sebagai pelaksana kerja terus meningkat, terutama pada sektor migas. Hal ini juga memperbesar tingkat resiko kesehatan dan keselamatan kerja yang dihadapi oleh kontraktor, sehingga diperlukan sebuah program untuk mengelola Kesehatan dan Keselamatan Kerja serta Lindung Lingkungan pada perusahaan kontraktor. PT Z telah menjalankan program ini yang dinamakan Contractor Health, Environment and Safety Management (CHESM). Data tahun 2010-2011 menunjukkan kecenderungan peningkatan pada rating CHESM kontraktornya, yang dapat diartikan bahwa perusahaan kontraktor yang digunakannya semakin baik dalam melakukan pengelolaan K3LL di dalam perusahaannya. Untuk mengetahui sejauh mana efektifitas program ini dalam meningkatkan kemampuan kontraktornya itu, perlu dilakukan evaluasi mengenai pelaksanaan program tersebut oleh PT Z. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan tujuan utama untuk mendeskripsikan suatu keadaan secara objektif. Jenis data yang digunakan adalah data primer dan sekunder, sedangkan pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, observasi lapangan, studi literatur dan telaah dokumen. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui terdapat kesenjangankesenjangan dalam pelaksanaan tahapan-tahapan program, yang mempengaruhi efektifitas dari program itu sendiri. Kesenjangan lebih banyak terjadi pada saat pelaksanaan tahapan program di lapangan.

The trends using contractors manpower to carry out the work inclines from time to time, especially in oil and gas sector. This condition gives greater risks to the health and safety of contractor’s manpower, so that they need a special program to manage the health and safety of contractor’s manpower. PT Z has run this program which is called Contractor Health, Environment and Safety Management (CHESM). There was a tendency the inclination of CHESM rates of the contractors which mean the contractors have managed HES better in their working activities. It is necessary to evaluate the realization of PT Z program to know how far the effectiveness of the program in increasing the contractors ability. The Author manages descriptive research using qualitative method to describe the situation objectively as the main reason. The primary and secondary data are collected by interviewing employees, field observation, library studies and document analyses. Based on the result of the research, it is found the gaps between the theories and the realization of the program stages. It really influences the effectiveness of the program. The gaps happen more when they carry them out in the field.

"Banyaknya proyek konstruksi memunculkan potensi meningkatnya masalah keselamatan pekerja. Kecelakaan kerja di sektor konstruksi yang melibatkan banyak tenaga kerja memiliki risiko kecelakaan kerja yang lebih tinggi. Namun, perlindungan terhadap para pekerja pada sektor jasa konstruksi dinilai belum maksimal, ditandai dengan banyaknya kecelakaan kerja dan belum terpenuhinya standar keselamatan kerja. Peningkatan budaya keselamatan kerja menjadi salah satu kunci pengendalian kecelakaan kerja. Integrasi budaya keselamatan kerja di perusahaan dapat dilakukan melalui pendekatan prinsip-prinsip manajemen, salah satunya adalah pendekatan sistem kepemimpinan. Kepemimpinan yang kuat, efektif, dan visible merupakan faktor penting dalam mewujudkan lingkungan kerja yang sehat dan aman.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dimensi sistem kepemimpinan keselamatan yang diperlukan terhadap budaya keselamatan kerja, serta mengetahui hubungan budaya keselamatan kerja dan sistem kepemimpinan keselamatan melalui indikator-indikatornya. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan memanfaatkan instrumen penelitian berupa kuesioner untuk mengumpulkan data selama proses penelitian dan diolah menggunakan program SPSS data univariate dianalisis secara deskriptif menggunakan metode analisis faktor. Melalui analisis data yang dikumpulkan diperoleh keterkaitan antara dimensi sistem kepemimpinan keselamatan dan budaya keselamatan pada objek penelitian Perusahaan Konstruksi BUMN.

The number of construction projects shows the potential for increased safety issues for workers. Work accidents in the construction sector involving many workers have a higher risk of work injury. However, the protection of workers in the construction services sector is considered not maximal, marked by amount of workplace accidents and not yet fulfillment of safety standards. Increasing occupational safety culture is one of the keys to work accident control. Integration of work safety culture in company can be done by approach of management principles, one of them is the approach of leadership system. Strong, effective, and visible leadership is an important factor in creating a safety healthy environment.
This study aims to analyze the dimensions of the safety leadership system required for safety culture, as well as to know the safety culture relationship and the safety leadership system through its indicators. This research was conducted by using research instruments in the form of questionnaires to collect data during the research process and processed using SPSS data univariate program, analyzed descriptively using factor analysis method. Through analysis of collected data obtained the relationship between the dimensions of safety leadership system and safety culture on the object of research of BUMN Construction Company.
