Hasil dari metode PLS-SEMmenunjukan tantangan terkait human resources management, coordination, dantechnology mempunyai hubungan positif dan signifikan dengan kesuksesan proyek.Penelitian ini dapat berfungsi untuk mengantisipasi tantangan yang terjadi padapenerapan Agile sehingga dapat mencapai kesuksesan proyek.

Agile project management is one of the methodologies used by organizations to

manage software development projects. The method allows processes to adapt

quickly and respond to customer expectations. Nevertheless, agile method

utilization has its challenges in software development projects. It is crucial to

identify the relevant challenges of agile software development to attain project

success. This study aims to (1) identify agile software development (2) identify

most common challenges and most impact challenges (3) identify impact of

challenges related to project success. Nineteen challenges and map the challenges

into five categories are identified using the systematic literature review and Delphi

method. The result of survey was conducted on Agile practitioners in Indonesia

showed the most common challenge in implementing Agile is organizational

culture, meanwhile the challenge that has the greatest impact is resistance to change

using Henry Garret’s ranking and z-score ranking. The results of PLS-SEM method

show that the challenges related to human resources management, coordination, and

technology have a positive and significant impact on project success. This study can

serve to anticipate the challenges that occur in agile implementation to lead into

project success."

"Survei yang dilakukan oleh Project Management Institute dan VersionOne memaparkan bahwa pengembangan proyek menggunakan pendekatan agile telah berkembang sangat pesat. Kerangka kerja enterprise agile atau scaling agile diharapkan dapat menangani problem yang lebih kompleks pada saat organisasi beralih dari pendekatan tradisional ke agile. Meskpun saat ini terdapat metode-metode scaling agile yang populer memiliki praktik-praktik yang diajukan, tidak semua praktik dan metode tersebut cocok untuk organisasi. Oleh karena itu, memilih metode dan praktik agile dari beberapa metode dibandingkan adaptasi satu metode secara keseluruhan dapat dipertimbangkan sebagai strategi untuk pemilihan praktik yang diperlukan. Penelitian oleh scrum.org menyebutkan bahwa 49% organisasi tidak memiliki kerangkan kerja untuk penerapan scaling agile mereka, sedangkan pemilihan kerangka kerja merupakan salah satu proses yang penting. Saat ini, belum ada penelitian yang membahas mengenai kerangka kerja yang bersifat general untuk enterprise agile. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membangun kerangka kerja enterprise agile berdasarkan konsep The Essence SEMAT Kernel dan general theory of software engineering. Design Science Research (DSR) digunakan sebagai metodologi penelitian, karena karakteristiknya yang sesuai dengan tujuan penelitian ini. Penelitian ini menghasilkan luaran berupa kerangka kerja enterprise agile yang sudah dilakukan proses uji coba pada beberapa organisasi di Indonesia. Proses evaluasi berdasarkan konsep DSR sudah dilakukan sampai beberapa kali iterasi. Evaluasi dilakukan pada setiap proses desain dan setelah tahapan uji coba. Evaluasi oleh para pakar, praktisi dan pakar internasional dilakukan menggunakan metode wawancara daring menggunakan video conference, focus group discussion (FGD) dan structured-interview dengan formulir daring. Untuk kontribusi akademik, penelitian ini memberikan rujukan kepada penelitian lainnya pada bidang enterprise agile. Berdasarkan Software Engineering Body of Knowledge (SWEBOK), penelitian ini menambahkan referensi mengenai scaling agile methods pada pada area Software Engineering Model and Methods.

A survey conducted by the Project Management Institute and VersionOne showed that the development of projects using the agile approach had developed very rapidly. The enterprise agile framework or scaling agile framework is expected to solve the complex problem while they are transitioning from traditional to agile approach. Although there are several agile methods each encompasses multiple practices, not all of them may fit for all organizations. Therefore, picking appropriate agile practices from different methods rather than adapting to a whole agile method, can be considered as practice selection strategy. The research by Scrum.org explores that 49% of organization have no framework for their implementation of scaled agile, whereas the selection of the framework is of the important process. Currently, there are no studies to explore the generic framework of the enterprise agile. In the other related software engineering field, there are the common ground concept. This study aims to develop an enterprise agile framework based on the concept of The Essence SEMAT Kernel and general theory of software engineering. Design Science Research (DSR) is used as a research methodology, because of its characteristics that are in accordance with the objectives of this research. This research produces an output in the form of an enterprise agile framework that has been evaluated in several organizations in Indonesia. The evaluation process based on the DSR concept has been carried out for several iterations. Evaluation is carried out at each design process and after the trial phase. Evaluation by experts, practitioners and international experts is carried out using online interview methods using video conferencing, focus group discussions (FGD) and structured-interviews with online forms. In the academic field, this research contributes to adding agile scaling methods to SWEBOK in the Software Engineering Model and Methods area. For practitioners, the framework that was built can be used as a guide for implementing agile scaling in organizations. For academic contributions, this research provides references to other research in the field of enterprise agile. Based on the Software Engineering Body of Knowledge (SWEBOK), this study adds a reference to scaling agile methods in Software Engineering Models and Methods."

"ABSTRAKPersaingan pada industri perbankan saat ini tidak hanya antar bank, akan tetapi terhadap perusahaan teknologi informasi yang dapat menciptakan produk digital dengan lebih awal dan menyesuaikan kebutuhan pengguna. Untuk itu menghadapai tantangan tersebut industri perbankan dapat menerapkan pendekatan Agile. Pendekatan Agile sendiri memiliki tingkat kesuksesan yakni hanya sebesar 39% dan 61% lainnya tidak. Hal ini dapat disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor salah satunya yaitu pendekatan Agile yang terbilang baru berkembang sehingga banyak yang belum begitu memahami pendekatan tersebut. Selain itu pada industri perbankan sendiri masih banyak yang menggunakan pendekatan tradisional dan berdasarkan data PricewaterhouseCoopers Indonesia sekitar 76% industri perbankan di tahun 2019 akan menggunakan pendekatan Agile. Berdasarkan hal tersebut maka penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor kesukesan kritis pengembangan perangkat lunak dengan pendekatan Agile pada industri perbankan di Indonesia. Analisis tersebut dilakukan dengan menggunakan pengolahan data statistik Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). Penelitian menghasilkan faktor kesuksesan kritis pengembangan perangkat lunak dengan pendekatan Agile pada industri perbankan di Indonesia. Adapun faktor kesuksesan kritis secara berurutan dari terbesar ke terkecil yang dianggap dapat mempengaruhi kesuksesan tersebut yaitu komunikasi, praktik dengan pendekatan Agile, dukungan manajemen, team empowerment, pengetahuan & keahlian tim, budaya organisasi, karakteristik tim, dan integration & automation process.ABSTRACTCompetition in the banking industry today is not only between banks, but for information technology companies that can produce digital products earlier and adjust user needs. "DOKU memiliki visi sebagai partner terpercaya dan andal yang mengelola pembayaran dan pelanggan. Dalam mencapai visi andal, terdapat beberapa tantangan pada proses pengujian secara agile. Tujuan dari karya akhir ini adalah untuk meneliti keadaan pengujian saat ini di dalam organisasi, serta memberikan saran untuk peningkatan proses pengujian dengan tetap mengadopsi pendekatan agile. Pendekatan dalam peningkatan proses pengujian terbagi menjadi model based, analytical, dan hybrid. Peningkatan proses pengujian berdasarkan model yang bereferensi pada proses salah satunya ialah Test Process Improvement (TPI). Untuk pengembangan perangkat lunak secara agile terdapat kerangka kerja turunan dari TPI yaitu Agile TPI. Pada penelitian ini akan dilakukan pengukuran tingkat kematangan dari proses pengujian perangkat lunak di DOKU dengan instrumen Agile TPI. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode applied action research. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan kuesioner, observasi, dan studi dokumen. Hasil penilaian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kematangan dari proses pengujian produk perangkat lunak masih di tingkat individu. Hasil pengukuran menunjukkan proses area pengujian yang perlu ditingkatkan oleh perusahaan pada tahap awal ialah tingkat keterlibatan, strategi pengujian, profesionalisme penguji dan alat uji. Setelah mengetahui proses area yang perlu ditingkatakan, kerangka deming cycle digunakan sebagai kerangka dalam penyusunan rekomendasi proses peningkatan. Hasil penelitian diharapkan memberikan manfaat bagi perusahaan untuk memahami tahapan peningkatan proses untuk mencapai tingkat kematangan selanjutnya.

DOKU has a vision of being a trusted and reliable partner who manages payments and customers. In achieving a reliable vision, there are challenges in the agile testing process. The purpose of this thesis is to examine the current state of testing within the organization, as well as provide suggestions for improving the testing process while still adopting an agile approach. The approach in improving the testing process is divided into model based, analytical, and hybrid. Improved the testing process based on a model that refers to the process one of which is the Test Process Improvement (TPI). For agile software development there is a framework derived from TPI, namely Agile TPI. In this research, the level of maturity of the software testing process at DOKU will be measured using the Agile TPI instrument. The study was conducted using the applied action research method. Data collection is done by questionnaire, observation, and study of documents. The assessment results show that the level of maturity of the software product testing process is still at the individual level. The measurement results show the process area of ​​the test that needs to be improved by the company at an early stage is the degree of involvement, testing strategy, tester professionalism and test tools. After knowing the process areas that need to be improved, the deming cycle framework is used as a framework in the preparation of the improvement process recommendations. The results of the study are expected to provide benefits for companies to understand the step of improving the process to reach the next level of maturity.
