"This book presents new European work in the area of addiction studies, focusing on the temporal and spatial variances of addiction behaviours and the solution repertoires for dealing with their problematic variants. It contains work in three main research areas. First, it provides insight into the historical and regionally bound language use tied to addiction problems, showing how concepts and ideas have been intertwined with certain trends globally and regionally. Second, it provides a framework for understanding the roles played by different social actors and stakeholders in different European societies when addressing and solving the problems associated with addiction. Third, it reports on perceptions of the problems as an integrated part of epistemic and political systems, as well as part of a popular understanding among lay people.

"Interventions for Addiction examines a wide range of responses to addictive behaviors, including psychosocial treatments, pharmacological treatments, provision of health care to addicted individuals, prevention, and public policy issues. Its focus is on the practical application of information covered in the two previous volumes of the series, comprehensive addictive behaviors and disorders.
Readers will find information on treatments beyond commonly used methods, including Internet-based and faith-based therapies, and criminal justice interventions. The volume features extensive coverage of pharmacotherapies for each of the major drugs of abuse, including disulfiram, buprenorphine, naltrexone, and others, as well as for behavioral addictions. In considering public policy, the book examines legislative efforts, price controls, and limits on advertising, as well as World Health Organization (WHO) efforts.

"Biological research on addiction examines the neurobiological mechanisms of drug use and drug addiction, describing how the brain responds to addictive substances as well as how it is affected by drugs of abuse. The book's four main sections examine behavioral and molecular biology; neuroscience; genetics; and neuroimaging and neuropharmacology as they relate to the addictive process.
This volume is especially effective in presenting current knowledge on the key neurobiological and genetic elements in an individual’s susceptibility to drug dependence, as well as the processes by which some individuals proceed from casual drug use to drug dependence.
Biological research on addiction is one of three volumes comprising the 2,500-page series, Comprehensive addictive behaviors and disorders. This series provides the most complete collection of current knowledge on addictive behaviors and disorders to date. In short, it is the definitive reference work on addictions.

ABSTRACT
Anxiety is a general term for several disorders that cause nervousness, fear, apprehension
and worrying, which did not accompanied by clear measure. However, people with anxiety
could be diagnosed by their physical symptoms because they tend to have an increase in

more. Therefore this scientific journal done to make the psychosocial problem of anxiety
become a concern for nurses as physical problems could be treated better when psychosocial
problems were also handled well. This paper involves one patient who have hypertension
with anxiety. The anxiety scores is measured by HARS (Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale) score
and results showed that an anxiety nursing care for 6 days on patient could reduce anxiety
score from 27 points to 15 points. The nursing care used includes deep breathing
distraction, five spiritual fingers hypnosis and though stopping therapy"
