Drug abuse among street children is Indonesia`s public health phenomenon that need rehabilitation program. Social support plays huge part in recovery, but street children have low social support to recover, that makes therapy for this group is a huge challenge. Since 2016, Yayasan Balarenik as a community-managed rehabilitation centre provide services for street children, most of whom are in children on the street category. Balarenik is able to reach and assist those children to complete their program. The purpose of this study is to identify and analyze the forms of social support given to street children`s rehabilitation program completion at Yayasan Balarenik on 2016-2018. This study use a qualitative approach with case study design, by interviewing counselors and outreach officers, Yayasan Balarenik`s Chief, and family representatives. The study was conducted in March to May 2019 at Yayasan Balarenik. Results of this study show that the most dominant social support given is instrumental and companionship. Social support given is able to assist street children to complete their rehabilitation program, but not enough to prevent relapse due to economic, family, and negative peer group factors. Some form of social support is counterproductive as it creates new problems, one of which is children exploitation by parents to obtain instrumental support.
