"This specialized reference textbook presents the physiological and pathophysiological aspects of cardiovascular diseases affecting the athlete population. The first part is a systematic explanation of the non-invasive and invasive diagnostic techniques used in cardiology. The second part examines the clinical approach to a great majority of the cardiological problems that involve the athlete population. "Pada kompetisi olahraga tentu terdapat atlet yang mengalami cedera, baik cedera akut maupun kronis. Cedera pada atlet sudah sangat sering terjadi di Indonesia. Atlet yang pernah mengalami cedera tetap rentan mengalami cedera berulang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan pengetahuan atlet universitas Indonesia mengenai cedera olahraga musculoskeletal terhadap kepatuhan atlet tersebut dalam mencegah terjadinya cedera olahraga. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan deskriptif korelatif dan pendekatan secara cross-sectional, Penelitian ini memiliki 107 responden mahasiswa aktif universitas indonesia dengan menggunakan metode simple random sampling. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya hubungan antara tingkat pengetahuan dengan tingkat kepatuhan responden dalam mencegah cedera olahraga (p= 0,006). Penelitian ini merekomendasikan agar diadakannya sebuah pelatihan bagi mahasiswa atlet dalam melakukan upaya pencegahan cedera olahraga.

In sports competitions, of course there are athletes who are injured, both acute and chronic injuries. Athletes who have suffered injuries remain vulnerable to recurring injuries. This study aims to determine the relationship of knowledge of Indonesian university athletes regarding musculoskeletal sports injuries to the adherence of these athletes in preventing the occurrence of sports injuries. The design of this study used descriptive correlative and cross-sectional approach, this study had 107 active student respondents from Indonesian universities using the simple random sampling method. The results of this study indicate a relationship between the level of knowledge and the level of participation of respondents in preventing sports injuries (p = 0.006). This study recommends that a training for athlete students be held in making efforts to prevent sports injuries."
