"We all know conflict is unavoidable, especially in the workplace. Whether it's a fight over resources, a disagreement about how to get things done, or an argument stemming from perceived differences in identities or values, it's a manager's role to navigate relationships, and build compromises and collaborations. "Conflict 101" gives readers the tools they need to ensure not only that employees get back on track, but that disagreements breed positive results. Readers will learn how to: build trust; harness negative emotions; encourage apologies and forgiveness; use a solution-seeking approach; and, say what needs to be said. Incorporating anecdotes taken from the author's twenty years of experience as a conflict resolution professional, the book helps readers more deeply understand how conflict is created, how to respond to it, and how to manage it more effectively."

Qatar's role as a regional mediator is a step towards creating an independent political persona. As a mediator, Qatar showing an open foreign policy. This is done to develop diplomatic relations with non-state actors and countries in the Middle East, including Afghanistan. This research is using a case study approach to examine the foreign policy implemented by Qatar with countries and non-state actors involved in the Afghanistan conflict. The results of this study indicate that Qatar became a mediator in the Afghanistan conflict in order to fight for their national interests and increase influence and position at the regional and global levels. Based on the theory of realism, in achieving its goals Qatar mediates conflicts against countries that have the potential to pose a threat to national, regional and global security. The research also shows that Qatar is very rational in the policy-making process. This foreign policy decision considers maximum benefits, costs and profits. The form of implementation of foreign policy adopted by Qatar is reflected in the era of Hamad bin Khalifa al Thani and Tamim bin Hamad Khalifa al Thani. The two figures used diplomacy from a social, economic and political perspective, as well as culture in eliminating conflict in Afghanistan. Qatar's foreign policy under the leadership of Hamad bin Al Thani and Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani has brought about a change. This is done to anticipate all potential threats that could disrupt national security and regional instability."

China is increasingly active in exploiting the conflict in Myanmar. The conflict has escalated since Min Aung Hlaing took over the Myanmar government and installed a military junta in February 2021. The coup caused a strong reaction from all Myanmar people who held resistance against the return to dominance of the military junta, both from the majority and minority ethnic groups. Overwhelmed by various armed ethnic groups, the Hlaing government suffered a series of defeats in the face of opposition forces in Operation 1027 launched by the Three Brotherhood Alliance (3BTA), an alliance of three armed ethnic groups operating in Shan state. Through qualitative methods, this paper intends to look at the intervention carried out by China in the government-3BTA conflict in Shan state. The results of the research in this paper show that China is the sole third party that intervenes between the two parties in conflict. The intervention is based on China's existing interests in both parties. After achieving its interests, China forced conflict resolution in the form of a ceasefire to ensure that Chinese projects were not affected by the conflict. Thus, the intervention was carried out to protect China's interests in Myanmar. For Myanmar, despite the resolution of the conflict, this intervention is a signal of China's increasingly strengthening dominance in Myanmar.

Oil palm plantations are the sector with the highest number of agrarian conflicts in Indonesia. Conflicts in the oil palm sector often involve activities that include the use of violence. This Final Project aims to analyze the oil palm plantation conflict in Bangkal Village and identify the violence that emerged as part of the conflict escalation process. In this paper, data related to the palm oil plantation conflict between PT. HMBP 1 and The Bangkal Village Community were collected through literature review and analyzed using the Conflict Triangle Theory. The analysis found that both conflicting parties developed negative attitudes towards each other due to disagreements over land management, manifested in various forms of behavior, both coercive and non-coercive. This conflict escalated through five stages, namely mobilization, enlargement, polarization, dissociation and entrapment. Among this five stages, four of them involve two types of violence, structural violence and direct violence, such as threats of violence, tear gas and firearms shootings.
