"This book brings together the worldwide knowledge of researchers from Universities and Government institutions, as well as forest industry practitioners that have worked on the pest. Importantly, it is the first comprehensive treatment of the subject since S. noctilio was discovered outside its native range around 1900. The book covers all aspects of the biology and management of S. noctilio, including aspects of the insects? taxonomy, general life history, host-plant relationships, population dynamics, chemical ecology and symbiosis with the fungus Amylostereum areolatum. The book also contains a comprehensive synthesis of the history and current status of the pest and worldwide efforts to control it, including biological control, silviculture and quarantine."

""Minimally invasive management of caries is critical to realizing the goal of giving patients teeth for life. The effective practice of modern caries management depends on a shift to a medical rather than a surgical approach to prevention and treatment, combined with good working knowledge and understanding of state-of-the-art materials and techniques. This multi-author book provides succinct, authoritative, evidence-based insight into the many, varied, recent developments in cariology, together with essential information and guidance of immediate practical relevance to the forward-thinking practitioner." -- Publisher's website."

"Cestrum aurantiacum Lindl. is an exotic species found in native remnant forest of GPNP which is located inside the Cibodas Botanic Garden (CBG). Risk assessment is an important tool to choose best decision for invasive plant management. Risk assessment analysis on C. aurantiacum in Cibodas Botanic Garden was conducted using Multi Criteria Decision Analysis (MCDA) method. Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) used in the valuation process. Three sub-criteria used: minimizing the ecological impact, minimizing the management cost, and maximizing the public acceptance. Five management alternatives were used: do nothing (DN), eradication (E), containment (C), bio-control (BC) and harvesting (H). Harvesting (H) recommended as the best management decision for C. aurantiacumin at CBG remnant forest. This harvesting decision is not only creating environment/ ecosystem remediation but also as sources of fund in the management activity of the area.

ABSTRACT
Background: The incidence of Invasive Fungal Disease (IFD) is increasing worldwide in the past 2 to 3 decades. Critically ill patients in Intensive Care Units (ICU) are more vulnerable to fungal infection. Early detection and treatment are important to decrease morbidity and mortality in critically ill patients.
Objective: Our study aimed to asses factors associated with early IFD in critically ill patients at Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital.
Method: Prospective cohort study was conducted at Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital in criticallyl ill patients, within March 2015 - September 2015. Total number of subject (74) in this study was drawn based on one of the risk factor (HIV). Specimen were collected on day 5 to 7 of hospitalization. Multivariate analysis with logistic regression were performed for factors with 'p' <0:25 in bivariate analysis.
Results: Two hundred and six patients were enrolled in this study. Seventy four subjects with IFD, majority were males (52.7%), mean age 58 years (range 18-79), mean Leon?s Scores 3 (score range 2-5), majority group non-surgical /non- trauma (72.9%) and mean fungal isolation positive on day 5th. Candida sp (92.2%) as the most isolated fungal. Urine culture yields the highest fungal isolates (70.1%). Mortality rate in this study was 50%. In multivariate analysis, diabetes mellitus ( ?p? 0,018, OR 2.078, 95% CI 1.135 to 3.803) was found as an independent factor associated with early IFD critically ill patients.
Conclusion: Diabetes mellitus is a significant factor for the incidence of early IFD in critically ill patients at Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital.
