"Xilitol merupakan senyawa gula alkohol yang memiliki lima rantai karbon yang banyak digunakan sebagai pengganti gula dalam bidang industri farmasi dan makanan. Xilitol secara alami terdapat di alam, namun dengan kadar yang sedikit. Produksi xilitol yang memerlukan banyaknya proses pemurnian serta penggunaan tekanan dan temperatur tinggi mengakibatkan tingginya biaya produksi. Fermentasi dengan menggunakan khamir Debaryomyces hansenii yang merubah xilosa menjadi xilitol dianggap lebih ekonomis karena menggunakan bahan baku yang lebih murah. Mutagenesis Debaryomyces hansenii dengan radiasi UV diharapkan menghasilkan kadar xilitol yang lebih tinggi. Hal ini, karena peningkatan akivitas enzim XR dan penurunan aktivitas enzim XDH. Mutagenesis radiasi UV dengan jarak 10 cm dengan lama penyinaran 20 menit dapat menghasilkan galur mutan yang diinginkan. Hal ini, berdasarkan skrining galur mutan dengan melihat pertumbuhan isolat pada media xilosa dan xilitol.
Xylitol is an alcohol sugar compound that have five carbon chain widely used as a sugar subtitution in pharmacy and food industries. Xylitol actually provided by nature but in very small quantities. Need a lot of refinery processes using pressure and high temperature in xylitol production that caused high cost production. Fermentation processed that use khamir Debaryomyces hansenii changed xylose to xylitol economically cheaper because using a low cost raw material. Debaryomyces hansenii mutagenesis using UV radiation would generate higher level of xylitol. This is due to the enhancement of XR enzime activites and the reduction of XDH enzime activities. With 10cm distance and 20 minutes irradiation of UV mutagenesis radiation can produce an expected mutant strain. These is based on the mutant strain screening which seen the growth of isolates in xylose and xylitol media."

di apotek. Praktek Kerja Profesi (PKP) di Apotek SAFA diperlukan untuk
mengetahui dan memahami peran dan tanggung jawab Apoteker di apotek serta
memahami praktik kegiatan teknis kefarmasian dan non teknis kefarmasian di
Apotek SAFA. Apoteker bertugas dalam memimpin, mengatur, mengawasi,
dan bertanggungjawab terhadap seluruh kegiatan apotek. Apoteker Pengelola
Apotek (APA) di Apotek SAFA belum sepenuhnya menjalankan fungsinya
sesuai dengan Undang-Undang dan peraturan yang berlaku dalam mengelola
semua kegiatan yang berlangsung di Apotek SAFA baik manajerial maupun
pemberian pelayanan kefarmasian yang baik bagi pelanggan Apotek SAFA.
Pengelolaan apotek di Apotek SAFA mencakup administrasi, manajemen pengadaan, penyimpanan, penjualan dan pelayanan telah berjalan dengan cukup baik.

Apotek SAFA were required to know and understand the roles and
responsibilities of pharmacists in pharmacies as well as understand the
technical and non-technical pharmacy activities in Apotek SAFA. Pharmacist
role are leading, regulating, supervising, and responsible for all pharmacy
activities. Pharmacy Manager Pharmacist in Apotek SAFA has not fully
perform its functions according with the regulations in managing all the
activities in Apotek SAFA, both managerial and good delivery pharmacy
service for the Apotek SAFA customer. Pharmacy management include
administration, procurement management, storaging, selling and giving service has been running pretty well in Apotek SAFA., Pharmacists are responsible for dealing with the management of
